I don’t think I’d be choosing a marketing company that doesn’t understand the basic principles of e-​mail marketing.
Along with about 50 other people (who, for whatever reason chose to reply all) I received «Chief Creative Officer» Clayton Kemp’s spammy message about needing a website, SEO or PPC help. This is after he randomly connects with me on LinkedIn.
Thus, you’re looking at the snake oil salesmen of today — people who can open a Facebook or Twitter account, but have no clue what they’re doing beyond that.
UPDATE: I got a message from Revive Creative + Consulting that this was all an «accident.» And I’d like to call BS on that one — it was deliberately sent (as in, copied into the «To» field) and not through some kind of e-​mail delivery system. Don’t say it was an accident, say it was a MISTAKE and then move on.
