Growing up in a household of a Black American father and Sardinian mother, food is the staple behind every holiday, birthday and family gathering. Needless to say, I couldn’t help my passion from a very young age.
I’m a classically trained Chef in French Cuisine with additional techniques handed down from generations of Sardinian women, and to be more specific, my Nonna (Italian for Grandmother). My love for the art of food derived from my Nonna and Mothers true Italian skills in the kitchen. How can one not love food when their wakeup call is the smell of fresh coffee and homemade tarts? Because I have had the honor of working with everything from French, Italian, Soul Food, Eastern Mediterranean, American, Indian, and Spanish foods, it is safe to say that my cuisine is what I like to call «worldly». I think of my cuisine as a limitless art, so why not take a little bit of all the wonderful spices, herbs, and flavors that is offered in the world of savory happiness!
