I cannot speak on the actual lash skill because I never got my lashes done. I had contacted Shannon because my usual stylist cancelled on me last minute. I was headed out of town. Shannon was very prompt to respond to my text on Saturday and said she could see me the next day at 12. Later that day she rescheduled saying she forgot she had a family event and could see me until Sunday between 6−7pm. She would let me know time. 430pm I had not heard anything. I texted her. No response. 6pm no response. 8pm finally a text apologizing that she had fallen asleep.
Really?
Again, I’m sure she is as the other reviewers say great with lashes but I’m sorry very unprofessional when scheduling and keeping an appointment. Stuck on vacation with half filled lashes. Not ideal.

I really like Shannon and Yuliya. Shannon (the owner) has given me extensions several times, but she was recently swamped so I saw Yuliya. Both are great. Professional, nice and give me fabulous extensions. Shannon really cares about her clients, and I’ve never left there disappointed. I’ve been going for a more enhanced natural look since I started in April, but I’m going to get them a little longer this time. Very excited!

I have been going to Lash Studio for a long time and have had several of the technicians provide service. I am one of those people who don’t make appointments before they need them and they ALWAYS find a way to fit me in! I have thin lashes and need plenty of assistance to get these full and beautiful lashes I sport every day! I have always found the reception folks attentive and helpful and I’ve never walked in the door that I wasn’t warmly greeted and promptly assisted. The studio is always clean and smells good and they take pride in doing a good job. I can’t speak highly enough of all of the folks who help me here.

As much praise and as many referrals I have given Lash Studio, I will NEVER go back there again. I have been going there since 2010 yet ALL they care about is money whether you are satisfied or not or whether you have received complete service or not! No wonder I hear so many horror stories from others about this place (yet I would still continue to praise them)! I have NEVER been treated so rudely by people that are supposed to be «professionals» IN MY LIFE! I called Lash Studio 3 times to talk to someone about getting a refund. They did not get my name or anything yet they transferred me to the Deputy Sheriff for harassing phone calls!!! What in the WORLD?! Why the HELL would a business do this??? The only reason I called 3 times was because I knew they were open, but I kept getting a voicemail, so I figured the person working the front desk stepped away so I called a few minutes later! I will NEVERRRRR go there again, and I do not recommend ANYONE go there and deal with those FOOLS that work at that place. They are so UNFRIENDLY anyway (check the other review from ²⁄₂₀₁₂ about the atmosphere and you’ll see I’m not lying). Never again, Lash Studio. You have lost a client, and I will NOT recommend you to ANYONE anymore as you already have a bad name in the Lash community! So appalled! Oh and apparently Shannon charges more for the longer lashes because her investors are on her ASS! Yes, this is being discussed amongst other lash technicians! I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I recommend everyone to Go ELSEWHERE!

Clarissa does an amazing job — she has an amazing personality and is very talented. I have consistently returned to the Lash Studio solely because of Clarissa.
The business seems to be run extremely poorly. I have left 3 voicemails requesting to make an appointment and NOT ONCE has my call been returned. One would think that at the start of each day the owner or receptionist would check voicemails to listen for new customers, returning customers requesting to book more business but that is not the case.
In addition to missing bringing in business by failing to return or even acknowledge calls — they also charge you if you miss your appointment. I understand this policy to an extent but feel that they at least owe the clients a 24 hour confirmation call. I left a voicemail the day before an appointment to reschedule and my call was never returned — instead, I saw on my credit card that they had charged me full price for «no call — no show». This practice is unfair and shows little appreciation towards clients and will not keep people coming back.
I suggest the owner takes a look at who is allowing this business to continue — the customer — and show a little appreciation, respect and at the very least, return phone calls!

I have glued on fake eyelashes since I was 18. And I have also woken up with the lash glue hang over since I was 18.
Thanks to Thanh at Lash Studio, I can wake up without worry that the guy next to me will freak out.
The first time freaked me out because I didn’t know what to expect, but it’s pretty relaxing and the results are amazing! I can go almost one month without refills and I have cut the mascara budget AND eyeliner budget out because they make such a difference.
First timer’s advice, pee before you lay down and close your eyes and make sure you have about 2 hours to spend there. Def worth the $!!!

I’ve been getting eyelash extensions for a very long time and I just moved to the area and thought I’d give this place a try. I went in to get my eyelashes done. They were so thin that I went back 4 days later to do a two week fill (which is much more expensive than the 1 week fill) just to get them full. I saw their technician in training, Clarissa, for both appointments. It’s been a week since then and most of them have fallen out, despite the fact that I know how to care for fake eyelashes and what to do and what not to do. It was simply a low quality job.
I just got back from getting them done exactly 1 week after that last visit. I saw a different technician, Heather. I overheard her talking to the receptionist about how yet another client was complaining about the ‘new girl’. I piped up and asked if they were talking about Clarissa, because that was also the reason I was there. Basically, at least 2 other people had complained about Clarissa’s work and had come in to get it fixed. Heather was very nice and understanding of my concerns of service so far. I told her I’d like to talk to the owner about the service, and she said that she would be in soon. I overheard Shannon, the owner, walk in and talk to the receptionist.
The receptionist gave Shannon a preview of the complaints they had been getting about Clarissa, and what Shannon says next is the reason I still give this 2 stars even though I’m wonderfully happen with Heather’s work. Shannon said, «She’s a technician in training, what did they really expect?». That right there scared me off from talking to her, I knew it would fall on deaf ears.
So, I’ll go back to see Heather, and only Heather. And if Heather leaves for another place, I’ll go with her.

Those who can, do. Those who can’t, wear fake lashes. I wore them all the time. I even went to the extent of going boating with a now-​former boyfriend and his friends and needless to say, high speed sailing and the elements left a lash strip dangling and my secret out in the open. Not a good look I tell you, so what’s a lash fiending lady suppose to do?
I went to Shannon at Lash Studio in West Village, touting that she is the crème de la crème of eyelash extensions in Dallas. I’ve had horror stories and I’ve seen friends with some scary spidery versions of extensions, but I did my extensive research and bit the bullet. Let me tell you, Shannon did not disappoint. I wanted to party like a rockstar this past Super Bowl/​Birthday weekend; worry free that I would pull another faux lash faux pas.
Located right on the corner in West Village, Lash Studio has become a beauty staple in Uptown by offering services such as NovaLash eyelash extensions, airbrush tanning, LCD services, facial waxing, permanent cosmetics, and injectables. Walk into their wonderland of flirtatious pink décor with chic chandeliers and I promise you can’t help but be uplifted into a girly good mood. The private service rooms are equipped with cushy chair beds and leopard print snuggie-​like blanket to keep you comfy and warm. Good ambient music fills the environment and if you’re not into napping you can indulge in divulge in some good conversation.
You explain the look you’re after to the technician and they give you a honest assessment of what would look best for your eye shape. I wanted fullness with an emphasis on length and a good touch of curl. The process is pain-​free: no stinging feeling, no pinching or pulling, and no poking or prodding. Actually, it almost felt too relaxing that I could have started drooling all over the table. Large sticker pads are placed under your eye to prep the area and create a nice work space. Shannon began by initially curling with a heater eye lash curler that beautifully bends your existing lashes without pulling or crimping like traditional eyelash curlers. Next, your lash technician separates each lash with tweezers and forceps-​like tools to attach NovaLash extensions one-​by-​one with a Platinum Bond adhesive glue. You have your choice in getting a Full Set or the Flirt, which is just the outer most corners. I opted for a Full Set of Lashes, because I wanted the full fabulash experience.
The eyelash extensions lasts 6 – 8 weeks, with recommended touch ups every 3 – 4 weeks depending on your natural eyelash cycle. Prices range from $ 150 — $ 300, depending on which options you choose and what level technician you have. Touch-​ups are $ 30 to $ 108, respectively less expensive if you go in for regular upkeep.
Now I’m the owner of some long, lush, and perfectly curled lashes. I now love waking up bright eyed and bushy lashed in the morning.
I could never run out the door previously without curling my lashes and applying mascara, but now it’s a different story. I’ve become a low maintenance girl where I can get away with just wearing concealer (damn those pesky dark under eye circles!) and lip balm.
So here’s to a new pricey beauty obsession and to weeping at my wallet woes!

This place is A-​Okay!
Heather was the wonderful advanced tech that put on my silk lashes and she did great! I felt like she was making a conscious effort to make sure I was happy, comfortable and she was super nice! Its been a week since I went in and I have not noticed one last fall out. (I’m sure that there have been a few but I have not noticed anything)
Heather gets a 5 star rating! Exceptional customer service and she got MAD SKILLS!
Now on to the Salon its self… You have to park on the street and the address is misleading because this place is about a block off of McKinney. So if you are from the burbs (like me) make sure you ask them for some land marks. This next one is my biggest pet peeve and thus why I didn’t give them 5 solid stars… No one greeted me when I walked in. (Keep in mind I had an appt to spend 400.00 here and I do expect someone to at least look at me when I walk in and say, Hello.)The receptionist was on the phone and didn’t even look up at me when I came in. I stood there for about 5 mins… just…kinda…ackwardly…waiting… Hump… But Heather came to my rescue and fixed me a cup of coffee and the we were off! :)
I will come back here for my fills and like every high school girl longing for attention… I will HOPE that THIS time… the girls at the front desk will think enough of me to give me the time of day.

This place is awesome! Clean and contemporary — reasonable prices. Thank you for making Dallas a more beautiful place lash ladies!

It was right before Halloween… and I told myself that this would be temporary because it would be part of my costume… But nearly 4 months later, I am completely addicted to my lash extensions. I never have to curl my lashes or use mascara again… it’s truly amazing!
