Ideal Dental University Park

I had a VERY thorough exam and it was painless! Yippee!

Total scam! This dental office was in my network for my insurance and yet when I went there they tried to get me to purchase over $ 2,200 in extras NOT covered by my insurance. I went back to my original family dentist after, who I had left because of my insurance change, and he told me NONE of what they told me was correct. I was told I had a tooth disease that would require a «deep cleaning», a crack in my tooth requiring a cap and possibly a root canal, etc ect. Avoid this dental practice!!! It’s a complete scam!

Today I had the pleasure of visiting your office in University Park. The moment the door swung open a women by the name of Denise was at attention with her hand outstretched, a huge smile on her face, inviting me into her space saying «welcome to our office!». The energy was great! The office was clean and sharp. A few moments after I checked in, Megan looked around the door and invited me back to the examining room. She was very interested in my questions and had an engaging «chairside» manner. Megan helped me set my expectations with warmth and comfort in her voice. Dr. Patel arrived in the room promptly and welcomed me again and told me a little about herself. Dr Patel was going to be able to address ALL my needs and yet it was affordable. I’d say thats a winning business model. My treatment today was thorough and very comfortable. I would love to have an ongoing relationship with your University Park staff and Dr Patel. Please convey to this office my deepest thanks for choosing to be Professionals.

I want to start by saying that Dr. Courtney Geiger is AMAZING! She is wonderful, kind, and a genuinely friendly/​caring person. However, the front desk staff is rude (especially the blonde). They call you and try to reschedule your appointments and when you can’t they tell you «oh its no problem»…well obviously it was or else you wouldn’t have called me. They misquoted me on insurance prices and in the case of my fiancé, they quoted her a HUGE price for a mouth guard she didn’t ask for NOR did the doctor tell her she needed. If it weren’t for the front desk staff I’d recommend Dr. Geiger to everyone.

Dr Geiger and the team here are amazing! Even though I’m from small-​town Oklahoma and have the teeth to prove it, I felt like their most important client from day 1. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

I got minor dental work here a few Fridays ago and the appointment was so much fun. I love the staff, black assistant guy was funny, and I actually really liked Dr Geiger. She’s very personable and professional at the same time, and extra points for giving me a 3-​day pass to try out Equinox gym (inside the same building)! I came in with a toothache and a filling was placed. I haven’t had any problems since. I had a really awesome experience, I definitely recommend Ideal Dental
