These guys are awesome! They took the time to explain my situation and even told me that some parts of the repair could wait if my budget didn’t allow for it. Because of their honesty I went ahead and went with their recommendations and I’m so happy I did! They were kind and pleasant to talk to and really did outstanding work. I feel like they could’ve charged me far more than they did. I highly recommend GMA!

Gary was recommended to me years ago, but we used the dealership for service. Finally, the dealership made what seemed an unreasonable recommendation. So I took it to Gary for a second opinion. So glad I did.
We have 4 cars ranging from 60+ years old to 10+ years old & Gary (and the team) work on all of them. They are willing to use parts I source (sometimes from Craig’s List) and recommend what needs to be done rather than what could be done. When picking up or dropping off is a logistical problem, they come get me or take me home. And they are all super, super nice & friendly.

Would not recommend, rude, went somewhere else. He seemed too busy to listen.

My wife accidentally filled the tank on her Corolla with diesel fuel. I called the Toyota dealership and they asked me to have the car towed to them. They couldn’t quote me a price, but said it would take three hours to drop the fuel tank and empty the diesel fuel which sounded expensive (assuming $ 100 per hour labor rate X 3 hours labor = $ 300 minimum). My cousin recommended this place to me. Gary Miar quoted $ 186 and said he would call first before starting the work if it was going to be higher than $ 186. It was about 5p on a Friday so they would have to start on Monday morning (closed on the weekends).
Didn’t hear from then by noon on Monday (they open at 7a) so I called and they said the car was ready. Total price was $ 213 cause they said they put $ 20 worth of gas in the car. The fuel warning light came on (comes on at about ¹⁄₁₆ full) so on a 12 gallon tank, there’s no way they put $ 20 worth of gas (current unleaded rate roughly $ 3.50 per galon). Nevertheless I couldn’t complain with the total price and would take the car bac to them for future needs.

You know, for what I paid to get my POS fixed I could have used it for a down payment for a brand new fuel efficient car that I actually might like to drive.
Anyways, they did a really good job on fixing most of the stuff that was wrong with my car. The other stuff I can change out myself.
Gary, the owner dude and the rest of the people that work up there are really nice people and do look out for you and for the best interest of your car.
When my card didn’t work for some reason, Gary even drove me up to my bank so I could pay him. Cool dude, even offered to get me some Micky D’s since it was right next to the bank, hehe.
I’ll probably be going here to get my oil changes and stuff from now on, until I move again in a couple of months.
