I went hear to have a suit jacket altered and was quoted ~ $ 35. When I went to pick up the item, I was given a bill for $ 70 and the tailor was not present.
I had a similar alteration done next door for ~ $ 35.

I needed a nice shirt for an event and finding my size off the rack is near impossible. They custom fit one for me and it looks great! Not a place I would go for everyday clothes because it is certainly pricey, but if you’re looking for a nice piece for your wardrobe this is the place. Very helpful and insightful staff!

… so my boyfriend and I ran in here after a lunch break to ask some quick questions about getting his (ill-​fitting) suits tailored. He’s new to this whole suit song and dance and so we just wanted some insight on ideal fit, cost, etc. My idea was to go into some of the more high-​dollar clothier’s as they would have more quality workers then say, a men’s warehouse.
When I tell you the guy at the front gave us the WORST stank attitude when we came in. He literally, LITERALLY began walking away as we were talking to him. LITERALLY!!! I mean, come on! He was talking over us and literally cut us off mid-​sentence. Maybe we didn’t look like we had enough money to be in this area? Maybe we still had garlic on our breath from Mi Cocina? Maybe if I would’ve dropped our «titles» we would’ve gotten at least eye-​contact? Maybe we should’ve flashed the BMW key chain? I don’t know… All I know is it was shocking…
My guy turned to me in disbelief and I took his hand and walked out.
