I had a fantastic experience at Dallas Fine Wine & Spirit. Harshad was extremely helpful when I came in with a list of wines I was looking for. The store has quite a large selection and I was able to get everything I needed. They carried my wine out to my car and were just generally very nice people. I will definitely return!

This place is amazing! They have a great selection of wine and other goods. The service is exceptional here. If you need help, they are quick to answer your questions and help you select the best wine for the occasion. I highly recommend this place and will be using them for every event from now on.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. They have an incredible selection of wine– both in type and in price. You can fine something for everyone’s taste and budget. They have incredible vintage wines. The people working there are truly kind and incredibly knowledgeable. I would give them 6 stars if I could!

This is a great place for wine and liquor and they have lots of it. And if you need help finding something the cashier will help you find it. They have a huge selection so you should come to this place.

NOT SO FINE WINE & SPIRITS — TERRIBLE
So, I am actively building my collection of Scotch, Rum, and Cognac… I am very concerned with saving as much of my hard earned money as possible, so I invested in a membership to a website that I can search the entire country for what I’m looking for and purchase for the very best price possible. It has saved me a lot of money and I am thankful for that.
I had saved a little extra on a few paychecks, it was time for another bottle… So, on Sunday when searching for «Mount Gay 1703 Old Cask», I found this rum for $ 79.99 and the shipping was reasonable. Done deal, I went to the Dallas Fine Wine website, provided my payment/​shipping information, and made my purchase… I received a «thank you» e-​mail confirming my purchase, then today (Tuesday) I received a FedEx shipping notification today at 2pm. At 6:30pm, I get a call from someone named «Peter» (I couldn’t really understand it clearly), and he stated that the pricing on the website was wrong and that I would have to pay $ 10 more for the rum. I then asked for clarification about why I had to pay more money, when the website clearly stated the price and I provided my credit card information and I received a purchase confirmation… He replied that he knew it wasn’t my fault and he was helping me out, so I just needed to pay a little more and he would send it. I told him I was only interested in paying the price which is on the website and that was it. He said pay it and he’d ship, don’t pay and he won’t ship. I told him that this is probably something that I would report to the Better Business Bureau seeing as how I provided all of my confidential payment information and received a recceipt, and he told me to «go ahead and do it». I asked him if he was the owner and he said no, he was a manager. Then I asked him who the owner was and he said there were only managers, there was no owner, this was a corporation. I then asked how I could make a formal complaint and he hung up on me… HE HUNG UP ON ME. Instead of calling back and going ballistic on him, I find myself here, typing this review…
I have encountered on a few occasions where something is improperly marked and as long as it was within reason, the customer is treated fairly and the advertised price is honored. Not in this case and I don’t appreciate it at all. I wasted time on making the online purchase, provided my personal information and credit card number, and sat waiting for something that wasn’t coming… I would much rather have made the purchase through an honorable retail establishment and received what I expected and paid for. I would have had my bottle of rum by now. I have made 50 – 75 online liquor purchases, and have never had any issue like this.
DALLAS FINE WINE is a half-​rate, D-​grade, scummy establishment, that will turn away the possibility of future business and display absolutely no class or customer service rather than treat their customers with respect, courtesy, and integrity. All over such a small amount of money… For them $ 10 is nothing, to me it’s something… No care at all for the consumer.
So, here is my recommendation regarding DALLAS FINE WINE:
DO NOT BUY ONLINE FROM THIS STORE!

This place is amazing. I went in yesterday looking for a cheap cabernet, the owner recommended an awesome bottle (which was double the price of what I wanted to spend) and gave it to me to try for half price! :) Thank you!!! I plan on going to the wine tastings to learn more about wine.

Excellent customer service, great selection of wine, scotch and cigars. By far the cheapest prices I’ve seen on 90+ wines.
I never write reviews on Unilocal but felt obligated due to the service and savings I received.

This is a great wine shop with an excellent selection and great prices. There are some real gems to be found so look around. I’m really glad we stopped in and will definitely be back.

So glad I finally got the chance to come out here. I needed to stock up on some vintage wine. I had the opportunity to try some nice Chardonnay and realized I need to venture out and try some different wines even if they are a bit on the pricier side. They just taste so good. I have heard great things of this place, and the people here really helped me out on picking out some great selections! Great service, great prices, and a nice store. They told me they also have wine tasting during the weekend which I need to try out soon.

My go to place for anything that has alcohol in it. Great selections of wine and spirits. If they don’t have what your looking for on the shelf they will order it. Harshad and Peter are awesome! Very helpful searching out your vice. Great prices.

These guys are awesome. I came in looking for a higher end bourbon that I had never had (try something new). The gentleman who greeted me asked me questions about what I like, and had an intelligent conversation with me about some of my options. I ended up with an awesome bottle that I had never tried before and I’m really enjoying it! Thanks guys!

These guys know their booze! We are picky wine snobs and these guys quickly sized up our palettes and recommended some gorgeous vins at our preferred price points the few times that we have been there recently. Not the prettiest location, but a terrific assortment of varietals and regions and just about every liquor you can conjure.

When it comes to shopping for most things, I’m your typical guy. Don’t talk to me — I know what I want. Or I think I do. Either way, I’ll act like it, lest I show weakness/​indecision.
But then I wanted to buy a nice wine to go with the Kent Rathbun dinner that the g/​f and I were going to have at 48 Nights. I walked in menu in hand and told Jerry what my general wine preferences were. The main course was duck and we both agreed a good pinot noir would be the best pairing based on what I like.
I told Jerry my price range and the dude f*n hooked me up. I don’t think they really advertise sales or discounts, so this may just be their business model. That is, mark shit up and if rich Dallas people walk in and just grab it, then cool. But if you take a second and talk to these guys, they know their stuff and are more than willing to cut you a deal.
I still grab and go when it comes to clothes, groceries, the hardware store and even beer. When it comes to wine though, I’m happy I can walk in here, be recognized by staff who know what I like, and walk out feeling like I got a great deal.

This is my favorite «wine and spirit» place. Etienne P and I used to live across the street from this cute little store and we were there often. My first weekend back in Dallas, I was at Dallas Fine Wine and Spirits to refill my liquor cabinet.
The owners are super nice and super knowledgeable. They know so much and have tasted every bottle of what they are selling. It’s a small boutique sort of wine store that sells all varietals in many price points, but don’t go looking for white zinfandel.
Every time I go in (it might be the boobs) I get a deal. I’ll go in, say «hey guys, I want a full bodied cabernet, want to spend around $ 20» and they will produce a great bottle. Often, this great bottle is more than $ 20 but they cut me a deal. Just ask some questions and they’ll totally help you and give you tastes and show you what to buy.
Last time I was in there, I got a great $ 9 bottle (hey, we’ll give you 3 for $ 12!) and a $ 25 bottle for $ 20. The personal service is so nice. They aren’t pushing some distributer wine and really listen to what you’re looking for. They want you to like what they like. Aaaah. And it’s great.
