Bought a house from these guys a few months ago — horrible business ethics. One of these house-​flippers you DO NOT want to buy a house from, as they are just out to make a buck at anyone’s expense.
Just one example of many: after we moved in, A/​C went bad. Home warranty denied claim based on an improper install (evaporator coil was not compatible with recently replaced condenser outside). COSA’s A/​C came to inspect, showed up in a horrible attitude and initially claimed he didn’t touch the system. After two hours of inspecting he sincerely apologized for his attitude and realized they made a mistake. He said he would talk to Scott Orbon (contractor) and that he would tell him he needed to pay to replace the evap coil ($ 1200).
Didn’t hear from Scott for several days, emailed him many times and never received a response. He finally responded to my Agent and claimed he wasn’t responsible. After that conversation he disappeared never to be found again.
The agent swore to never show one of their houses again and I would caution anyone from buying one of their homes. Unfortunately I don’t have the resources to take any legal action and was a first-​time home buyer and was taken advantage of. Hope nobody makes the same mistake of buying one of their houses. They are the worst kind of house-​flippers: get in, get out, cheap workmanship, cheap materials and no ethical values.
