Chilis Grill & Bar

I have been dining at this Chilis for over 8 years. The food and service have always been good. Last night was a very bad experience. We waited for over 45 minutes for dinner to arrive. The waiter did let us know that the kitchen was backed up and it would be 10 minutes late for dinner to be sent out. Not until my boyfriend spoke with the manager did food get moving for the entire restaurant. The manager did tell us that the meal would be comp due to the long wait. We were satisfied to wait at that point. Here’s the ringer on the experience. When dinner arrive the steak was incredibly small and the meat was obviously spoilt. The salad was limp. It appeared the refrigerator may have gone out on the kitchen. My boyfriend friend chicken fingers looked ok but at that point we decided to leave. Not sure what happened here last night but it will be a while before I return for another dinner. They would have done better to just let guest know the kitchen was down and call it a night

Love the new Panko bread crumbs covered onion rings! The breading stays on they are crisp and hot when served. However the menu stated they are spicy but when I had them they were not. Even with out spice they were great!
