Unfortunately, this is your best option past security in Dallas Love Field if you want a sit down, non-fast food meal before your flight. Don’t get the chips & salsa, the chips are unbearably greasy.

Located in the DFW airport, this Chili’s Too has a very limited menu. I will Unilocal about the one I had in Charlotte recently that was better. Anyway, the seating was okay, and the place was busy. Probably because it was the only sit-down place in its area. You can always take the Skylink over to the big terminal(American Airlines) where there are more options(but that takes a lot of time). This Chili’s Too sits next to a barbershop – who goes there to get their hair cut before a flight? In terms of the food, the menu here was just a lot of greasy stuff – and who wants that before getting on a flight. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a quesadilla were offered. Nothing sounded good so I went with the chili(awful) and the salad(not horrible but very plain – iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese and carrots). I would lean towards giving it one star, but the waitress Heather(residing from Washington state and Wisconsin) was very friendly and and an excellent waitress. And good service in an airport can be hard to come by.

If I’m flying through this terminal I’ll usually eat here. Service is always prompt, and if you’re flying through in the morning they have decent breakfast tacos. You could do a lot worse in this terminal.

It’s pre-security which is the only reason why I give this place a star. I walked up after a flight and it was absolutely dead. Flies were buzzing around, nearly every table required bussing and I counted at least four younger employees just standing around the bar, gossiping and ignoring me. It being an airport restaurant I expected the prices to be inflated, but I did not expect the food to have a texture like it was sitting under a heat lamp for two hours. The food tasted worse; I was starting to wonder if I was going to get hepatitis. It was like pulling teeth to ask for another beer, as I had to once again interrupt the staff’s social gathering. To be fair, it has been a while since I have been there and I would be surprised if anyone from management on down still worked there.

I really should have known better. I ordered a steak quesadilla and a silver margarita. Margarita was great and so were the quesadillas until I noticed the long black hair playing peek-a-boo in my sour cream. I had to ask the waiter for a napkin so I could spit my food out. Believe me I’m Not a picky eater. but something about hair grosses me out. The waiter was pretty understanding and took the price of the quesadilla off of the ticket. Don’t think I will be eating here ever again. Would have been happier at taco bell.
