Stopped in here after a meal in the neighborhood for a delicious post dinner dessert and was not disappointed! Simple, delicious and flavorsome — this place provides a refreshing concept that is calm and to the point. I love it is not complicated or OTT! Done well, with panache and a dash of fun staff working to round out the experience — I’m impressed! My S.O.V.(local distillery) Amaretto was fantastic. Plus, all the rubbish(napkin, cup and spoon) are biodegradable and they have a bin just for that. Well done. Lovely little treat on Fraser Street!

NOSTALGIA, ICECREAM, MALTS, and SHAKES. Something about Braum’s that appeals to the kid in me. The place reminds me of the neon lights at the neighborhood diner, mixed with a gas station market, combined with the pharmacy ice cream parlor/soda shop. I come here for the trip down memory lane, plus a nice, inexpensive treat to satisfy my ice cream, malted milkshake, and ice cream float craving. The Food: 2 Scoops of Ice Cream(Chocolate & Vanilla) and Chocolate Malted/Milk shake Ice Cream: The ice cream is soft and creamy without any chunks of ice or uneven chunks of topping. It is smooth and free of anything that may ruin a good ice cream cone. My only concern is that it tastes just like your typical Breyers and/or Dreyers ice cream. Nothing bold or challenging to their flavors(–1 star), just classic flavors that you can find at any grocery store, if you’re craving ice cream. Chocolate Malted/Milk shake: Simple, sweet, and chocolate malt/milk shake. I didn’t really taste the malt(–1 star), which provides a simple nutty and milky flavor that takes the ice cream to another level. Missing the malt made it seem like a regular milkshake. Pretty much a milk shake, but that’s still good too. The Verdict: SHORTLIVEDNOSTALGIA. Good and simple flavors that appeals more to kids that like any kind of simple ice cream and the old-fashioned people that have grown up with Braum’s. The treats are inexpensive, but maintain a simplicity that is great on certain days and plain-jane on others. The chocolate malt is something to be desired, but maybe I just need to ask for more malt. I’d stop by with friends and family for that elusive ice cream cone on a hot Dallas summer day or a trip down memory lane. But that’s it. No other occasion.

HUGE single scoop in a waffle cone for $ 1.30. You know how much that would cost in San Francisco? Like $ 4. God bless Texas.

My roommate and I were going to be bad and eat ice cream for our dinner. But the sign for their chili on the window going in convinced us that we should have an acceptable dinner then eat dessert. Oh well so much for life is short eat dessert first. Always love a sundae at Braum’s or even just a scoop of Ice Cream. Today I had their seasonal ice creams Egg Nog and Pumpkin with banana, and both hot fudge and caramel toppings. Yum!

I absolutely hate this Braums. It’s not a visit that has not left me disappointed. Not all Braums JUSTTHISONE! The service is never organized and it seems like the management is null and void. In fact, on more than one occasion, i’ve seen the lady tht works the drive thru at night touch the french fries with her BAREHANDS. This during Cold, flu and EBOLA season!!! Was in there one night waiting for my order and she literally wiped her mouth, then touched the french fries with the same hand. GROSS! I told the short manager to tell her to stop doing that sh**!! at least at other stores they wear gloves, but that is not cool. dont believe me, go there and see for yourselves…

I really liked this place :) cute and great ice cream I was visiting from California and its near my sister in law took my daughter on a walk there and we loved it A little less old school décor inside than I was looking for, like it had been remodeled and lost some of its vintage feel that I was told it had years earlier, but otherwise very happy with it! :)

The burgers, and crinkle cut fries are delicious. A great fast food meal, definitely beats In & Out and Whataburger. My all time favorite thing here though are the desserts– especially the sundaes… you can pick any type of ice cream for them too. They are delicious and reasonably priced. They seem to always have dessert specials, which is another plus. Can’t get enough of this place. Friendly staff. If you want to sample a flavor, just ask.

Have a mini-store inside the ice cream store. Have varieties of flavor selection. It would be cheaper to buy a half-pint or a pint and share with a large group. Coconut walnut chocolate is good!

My husband and I love coming to Braum’s. We make our way to Braum’s at least once a month in the summer for their delicious ice cream. The sundae’s are amazing, and I love that you can mix and match the ice cream. I like to get two scoops of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream with hot fudge and caramel sauce and nuts on top. Yum! They also have a good variety of groceries in their general store. We stopped by and picked up some breakfast sausage on our way out. It does not get better than Braum’s for the price and taste!

Braums has some of the the best ice cream. German chocolate is my go to choice it’s like eating chocolate gold. The service at his location is great and the staff is friendly. I can’t speak for the food at braums, but the ice cream is great and at a good price.

The restaurant is dirty and our burgers were sloppy and soggy. The ice cream was not much better. A real disappointment.

This is a secret last-minute grocery spot! I used to think they were just for ice cream, but no. They have steaks, hamburger patties, bacon, eggs, bread, milk, bananas, havarti cheese, yogurt, and many other dairy and meat staples. They never have a checkout line in their market area and for quick shopping, you can’t beat it. Great service with a smile. Parking is always right in front of the door. I’m not sure why I never found them before.

Who doesn’t love ice cream? I got the Gingerbread flavor and Hot Cocoa flavor. They were good! I have to say I wish the lady who served me the ice cream would smile more though.

Hooray Braums! I believe this location is the closest to me, even if it’s still a bit of trek from my apartment. When I worked closer I would stop in for lunch sometimes and the burgers and fries were always good, as far as fast food burgers go. BUT I haven’t had one in years… Recently I’ve been by to get my old standby for when I need a chocolate fix. The brownie fudge sundae. It tastes just the way I remember. Brownie on the bottom, two scoops of vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, whip cream and a cherry on top. It’s worth every calorie.

I had never been to Braum’s until Jenn suggested it for lunch one day. We ordered burgers, fries and shakes. Now, considering this is Texas, this may get me shot, but I found the cheeseburger here at Braum’s to be more than a few levels better than Whataburger. The fries and ketchup, however, were lacking. I ended up with a shake that was«healthier» than I had imagined because I selected a Frozen Yogurt flavor instead of ice cream for the shake. It was the best part of the meal. I should probably give this place another chance, but the milkshakes are the real deal here.

I freaking LOVE that they will make me a Neapolitan shake because I love love love mixing those 3 flavors together :) That alone is enough for 5 stars, but the other day I grabbed lunch here and the service was eh and the food was OK but not as good as I’ve had at other Braums.
