Ahn’s Tae Kwon Do

Enrolled my two boys (ages 7 & 8) about 2 weeks ago here. My husband and I are very happy with the program and how Master Ahn manages his students! His background and experience with children prove well, cause he read my two boys like a book! He has excellent judgment on how to work with kids. I see a significant improvement in behavior from my two previously disagreeable boys. I really give credit to Ahn’s Tae Kwon Do. The structure of the class is very efficient and organized, which I feel helps my boys with discipline. It’s really impressive how mature they’ve become in just two weeks. They respond better to commands, and are just more agreeable in general. They also love the class! My 7 year old cried at the free trial class, but is now excited for each class. I’m glad the class is set up to have goals. The boys are excited to earn their belts! My niece and nephews have all been enrolled in Ahn’s Tae Kwon Do, and have all enjoyed it! Compared to Dallas Martial Arts, Ahn’s Tae Kwon Do is the genuine real deal. Master Ahn takes Tae Kwon Do seriously and values the skills he teaches. Other places act more like a babysitting service and pretty much give belts away without truly learning or earning it! I would recommend Ahn’s Tae Kwon Do for parents who really want their children to learn or enhance their martial arts skills, or to improve focus and discipline in their children. Also, the rates and location are very reasonable and convenient, I think.

I’ve been going to the adult class at Ahn’s Tae Kwon Do for just over 2 years and I love it. It’s a great workout that also teaches self defense and discipline (and is a great stress reliever after a hard day at work). One thing I like about the adult class is that it’s more of a size and skill level designation, than an age requirement. The ages in the class run from 13 to 60+. The skill levels run from no belt to multiple degree black belt. I find it motivating and challenging to train with the various skill levels and ages. The kids are fast and will keep you on your toes :-)
I have to mention that the kids are all amazing (I only call them kids because I’m over 40). Master Ahn doesn’t just teach Tae Kwon Do, he teaches manners, discipline, hard work, and confidence. These are the smartest, most polite, awesome young people I’ve ever met. Kudos to their parents and Master Ahn!
