I am a reading tutor who helps children with reading & spelling. A research-​based approach is used to teach language fundamentals. The program is influenced by Orton-​Gillingham to provide intense intervention in a logical sequence.

One-​on-​one tutoring focuses on:

Established in 2015.

I tutor children who struggle with reading & spelling, specializing in children with dyslexia. The program is designed to be two sessions per week. Depending on the month, this works out to 8 – 10 sessions. The Barton Reading & Spelling System is used, which is a research-​based program, Orton-​Gillingham influenced and an intense intervention to address reading gaps.

Business Owner

I have tutored children beginning in 2008. My credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Professional Management and a Masters in Business Administration. When I decided to pursue tutoring as my second career, I went back to school to attain my teaching certificate through the State of Florida. In addition, I have attended seminars hosted by Susan Barton to become a Barton certified reading tutor.
