This place is very unprofessional I bought my book here and returned it because I didn’t need it after all and the guy who was helping me was very rude and threw my money at me. He seemed upset because of the fact that I was returning my book and kept asking me questions as to why I am returning it. I will never go to this place again it will be my first and last time!

Attention Cypress College Students! If the text book you thought you need is not available in Cypress College Bookstore, it is more than likely that the class you are enrolled in will ever use that book! Or, you might want to take another class that is actually relevant to the program you are interested in. I visited«Textbooks» in a rush to buy mode when I added on this particular class hoping to catch up after missing the first meeting, only to find out that the book(listed in the syllabus) I bought from this store will not be used at all in the class! Of course I didn’t pay much attention to the ALLSALESFINAL store policy as I was just happy I got the book I thought I needed at that time so when I went to return it in its entirety, my request was denied due to the ALLSALESFINAL policy. I know it sounds stupid on my part but what do you do when you’re trying to catch up with what had already been discussed in the class? Just a piece of advice, make sure you really need the book before you buy one from this store with a NORETURNPOLICY. So un-American!

This place is great. Ive been going to Cypress College for way to long now and found this place my second year there. Ever since I have been going to Textbooks Inc. They know exactly what books you need if you just tell them the class you are in and are very nice about everything. They are quick and tell you straight up what you want or need to know. If you sell back books right after the semester is over you will get a good price. Do not wait too long cause sometimes they get overstocked and do not accept some books. Anyways overall great service, great prices, great place.

The only reason they’re still in business is because of Cypress College across the street. I used to buy & sell my books here but not anymore. I was selling my textbooks and I guess one of the book was an older edition. Of course, they offer me horrible price so I decided to see what’s the usual price was on Amazon. As I was gathering my books, the man who was in the counter told me don’t bother bringing one of the book back because it’s older edition. He just threw that out there in a very rude way. I wanted to speak to his manager but I figured it was just waste of time dealing with these stuff so I just left. I’m not surprised with reviews criticizing the staff’s behavior.

Came here for a book that I needed, took less than a minute to get my book and leave. Saved me 20 bucks off from the original brand new price! Great way to save money rather than going to the book store on campus.

It’s the worst book store in Orange County I have ever been to; very rude and unprofessional customer service. Definitely, the owner of this book store MUST learn how to serve customers BEFORE running the business. He kicked me out of the store just because I showed up at 9:00 a. m by yelling at me, «YOUCAN’T COMEIN!!!» My instant reaction to his unspeakable rudeness was nothing but dropping my jaw, and then when I asked him quickly about the book I wanted to buy, he said, ‘NO!” loudly and impolitely. Whether or not he had a bad morning due to his personal problems or whether or not he got out of bed on the wrong side is NONE of customers’ business or concern. Running the business having local people as their target customers requires more friendly and consistent customer service, not to speak of maintaining good reputation.

Place is very unprofessional and shady. makes a point to try to give you as little as possible for your textbooks and almost charges retail for their used books. very disorganized and rude staff. if youre looking to save money rent your textbooks somewhere, saves you all the crap of trying to resell them when youre done with them.

Great place to get all the books you need for school. They know their stuff. They are very helpful and to the point. I feel bad everytime I see a student buying books from the school bookstore, when one can just walk across the street and save some money. $$$$&
