Love this place been to a lot of boba smoothie places in Orange County and Los Angeles this place is by far the best being going here since 2006. The flavor and taste of the smithies are always consistent. Went there yesterday and to my surprise the place is closed down and changed their name anybody have any updates???

on the way back from school, I decided to get some boba for me and another person. I saw that the place was called phat straw. Stupid name but I needed a drink for this hot weather. I ordered the Thai milk tea and litchi with the fruit chucks slushy. Both were large with boba. My litchi drink was way to sweet and instantly melted and became juice. I was very disappointed. Tasted like Sugar water. For two large drinks with boba, my total was $ 7.61. The atmosphere of the place was decorative. Since it was so empty, it would make me feel awkward to hang out there. The girls that worked there just did their simple jobs. They didn’t smile or was friendly. Which I really don’t care for as long as I get my drink. I don’t need fakeness anyway. What I didn’t like about this place was they don’t carry soy. I would come back to try their other drinks, but I would steer away from the slushies.

Trying new places are always hard. I go to school at Cypress College and I’ve always seen this Boba place. I never went in until one day I really wanted Boba and wasn’t going to drive homeward for the one or two places I always go to. I ordered their Green Tea Slush w/Boba. Let me tell you… I LOVEDIT!!! Now when I am on a Boba Kraz, I go for this location and ONLY this location. If you have special requests they are happy to accommodate for it. The friendliest people to be served by etc. I recommend this location

Well. I think this place is in transition or has been bought out. It was Phat Straw and now seems to be Blender Bros. I have been here once before, but ventured here again to find it changed just slightly with some new menu items. BOBASNOBREVIEW: I ordered a Coco-Taro-Nut blend boba with tapioca pearls. It was quite good actually. It was hard to taste much other than the taro. Luckily I love Taro. The pearls were cooked about right. Mom ordered a white cholocolate coffee blend with pearls and my brother’s girlfriend got some form of tea. I think everyone was please with the BOBAs. The service on the other hand was rather slow. There was only one young lady working and I gather she had taken a few other orders and was preparing all of them in the back at the same time. It took around 15 minute to get our bobas. That is the longest I have ever had to wait. Luckily we could all keep each other entertained. I like the setup of the store. There is a great little pond inside. It makes the place feel very tropical. There are also games and couch seating. We didn’t play it, but there is also one of those stuffed animal grabber games. The boba was good, reasonably priced, and the place is cute so if you are at Cypress college and just have to have one, this is a good place to go. Otherwise, there are tons of other choices in the area. I have yet to review them all.
