History
Established in 1973.
Gerald Alldredge was born in Houston, Texas in 1948, making him a seventh generation Texan having a relative who died in the Alamo (Jonathan Lindley) and another relative who fought beside General
Sam Houston at San Jacinto (Hiram Little). Gerald’s military service includes serving with the 593rd Signal Group, 1st Battalion, VietNam, and also with the 2nd of the 12th, 1st Air Cavalry, VietNam. In 1969 he went to work for Gene Welch Plumbing learning new home plumbing construction. He worked there for 3 years until he earned his journeyman license. He then worked for Freddie Bailey Plumbing learning residential repair plumbing for one year. He recieved his master plumbing license MPL8635. He worked for Walter Pickett at John Moore Plumbing learning commerical & industrial plumbing.
Gerald is a past president of PluMeCo-Plumbing and Mechanical Contractrs Council of Harris County. Is founder and first president AMP-Associated Master Plumbers of Harris County.

In 1972 Gerald’s father was killed in a car wreck going to church. With his inheritance he started GJ’s Plumbing and Repair in the Spring and 1960 area making him the first plumber to live and in the same area. The G in the name includes the owner and his son Gerald Jr. The J includes his daughter Jeanna and his wife Jeannie. The owner and his wife have been married for over 45 years. His father called his son GJ for Gerald Jr For this reason the company has always been honest and fair as to reflect upon his love for his father. That is why we say «Your satisfaction is my best advertisement». Our customers trust is a great source of pride and inspires us to keep improving our business. We use the industry’s most current technology and we undergo continuing education yearly for advanced training.
