Su-​Lan was referred by a friend of us around mid year 2015, when we started thinking for a home in the bay area. Before that we heard a lot people sharing their bad memories with buyer agent, thus here were a lot uncertainty for us whether she would be a good fit to us, but my wife and I were both impressed by her during our first meet. Professional, dedicate and responsive, she is the agent that understand what customer like us really want. Having the similar engineering background, she understood what we really want for a new house, and what the concerns are, and provided constructive advise on top of that.
Everyone knows that it’s hard looking for a qualified home with a reasonable price in the overheated bay area real estate market, and that’s the same story for us. After weeks of frustrated browsing for the dream house, we felt that we might be too picky, nearly lost our patience and about to go for a less desirable, so-​so townhouse. It’s Su-​Lan who helped bring us confidence of keep searching what we really want again.
Then the story goes on: We called Su-​Lan immediately when we saw the house, we have now, on the list. We paid a visit to the house and found out that it’s the dream house that we’ve been searching for. However by that time it’s pretty late and the open house is almost off the rack. Su-​Lan working with the seller agent trying to see if we can make into the bid, and worked with us towards the midnight preparing the whole offer, so that we are able to make it before the due date. Su-​Lan was pretty confident about our offer, though we’re still thinking that we should bid with a higher price. It turned out that she is right that we have a strong package that the seller chose us even though it’s not the highest price. This was really a good news that beyond our imagination, since this was in fact the first offer that we EVER send out. I have to say that we have no chance to win the bid at the first time without the help from Su-​Lan!
Different as some other agents that disappear after the final call, Su-​Lan stayed together with us, helped us settle down in this new home. Beyond that she also shared us her experiences on financing options, her ideas and resources on interior and exterior remodeling. She is still always responsive and helpful even after the deal.
Su-​Lan is always saying that it’s destiny that we would meet together, and it’s also blessed that we finally got this charming house. Not only an agent, she is also being recognized as an elder friend that we can always rely on. It was a ¹⁰⁄₁₀ great experience working with Su-​Lan in the whole process. We’re pretty satisfied of where we are right now, and very appreciated that we have met her. We’re already thinking about our bright future.

Su-​Lan has been absolutely great to work with. She is very diligent, experienced, and responsive. As a buyer agent, she made sure that all of our needs were met throughout the transactions. It was great to know that she had our best interests in mind throughout the whole process.
Actually, our offer was accepted with her help even though it was not the highest offer :) Without her, we would have given up our dream house. She is excellent at what she does !
Her help did not stop after we got a key. We still email and call her to ask her advice about contractors/​gardeners/​tenants. She is always available and helpful to us. I would highly recommend her !

Su-​Lan is our first and only buying agent. Tired of renting, we started the search of our new home in December, 2014, in the south bay area. We first met Su-​Lan at one property she was showing. With similar background as engineers in the Tech Industry, we were attracted in the first conversation by her fact-​based, unbiased, and honest approach to the home-​buying market.
In the following few weeks, she showed us many properties based on our initial descriptions of the desired home. Through the process we condensed our floating ideas and arrived at a specific picture of what we need for our new home. And she didn’t just show us around, instead, she used the time to know each of us by heart and teach us everything we need to know in the home-​buying world. We made two offers in the low season and failed both. The failures were frustrating but the learning experience was valuable. We learned that Su-​Lan is a very rational agent– never pushed us to raise offer aggressively or asked us to give up the protection of contingency, just for boosting up the chance of winning the bidding war. The housing market is highly irrational, but as first-​time home buyers, we can’t afford to be irrational and Su-​Lan matches our need perfectly.
After the failed attempts, we had to extend our renting lease for a few months, targeting to come back in the high summer season. Starting from the first weekend of July, 2015, we visited every potential property within our budget. We identified the ones we like and she went to examine each one in her own time and fed back to us with her analysis. Finally, on the Sunday of the third weekend, we ran into THE HOME. We all loved the house at first sight, everything was perfect. We needed Su-​Lan to be there to talk with the selling agent immediately and she showed up in no time. The conversation went well and we believed that graceful chat with the selling agent was decisive. We won the bidding war and ours was not even the highest offer.
What came next was the roller-​coaster ride of loan process. Without going into the details, our loan process was not smooth and at certain point we were desperate thinking of the possibility of not being able to close on time. We were blessed to have Su-​Lan representing us in those tough times. She handled every situation professionally at ease and backed us up with her calm reassurance. In the end, we did close on time within a month. Now think back to all the process we have went through, we are glad that we didn’t win the first two houses which is by far not as good as the one we finally got in terms of price, condition or location!
Now we are officially first-​time homeowners. After being through all these adventures, we couldn’t imagine how we can possibility get our dream home without Su-​Lan holding our hands and walking us through the woods. Home buying is a life-​long commitment with the ones you love and care and we are more than happy to have Su-​Lan being part of it. We recommend Su-​Lan with no reserve to any home buyers, but beware, if you consider yourself an irrational home buyer, you might end up in the anger of why Su-​Lan gets you the house with too low of a price!

To me, Su-​Lan is not an realtor at all. She is one of my best friends. She spent a lot of time and a lot of effort in helping me find an ideal home in the Bay Area. This is not an easy work in the competitive housing market, but she has done a wonderful job.
She is very professional in the mortgage business and patient in explaining all the complicated housing information.
She uses her heart to help us. She works carefully, during the open house, during the contract signing and during every phone chat.
She does not hide anything in secret, even though I am a newbie in the house market. She treats me as one of her best friends, rather than a customer.
That’s why she wins my heart. That’s why we become friends after the COE.

I have never written any review before. This is the first time I write a review because my wife and I are really really grateful to have Su-​lan as our agent. I would recommend Sulan to every home buyers if I could. Su-​lan is a very dedicated, very helpful, and very professional agent, and she always think the best of you.
It’s a long and tough process to buy a home as a first-​time buyer. Su-​lan is always there to provide help, even we call her late at night (almost every night especially in the last 3 weeks when we make the offers).
Everytime when we are ready to make offers, Su-​lan will explain the reports to us about the good side and down side of the house. Actually we were about to make offers a few times, but with the help with Sulan, we decide not to because we found some issues which sometimes might be ignored. Believe or not, we finally bought our dream house with a very good price you cannot imagine, and it’s the first time we make the offer. Think about the crazy market in bay area, I will say 20% is our luck and 80% is all because of our best ever agent: Sulan.
After we bought the house, Su-​lan also help us for remodeling, contractors, and buying appliance… I cannot describe how grateful we are to have Su-​lan as our agent.
I wish I can write more because there are so many things I can list here that how great Su-​lan is. I really don’t think any other agent can offer the same help as Sulan does. What Su-​lan does is way beyond the agent. I would absolutely recommend Su-​lan to anyone if you are going to buy a house.

Su-​Lan Wang is without a doubt one of the most amazing individuals I’ve ever met. Tireless and intelligent, she sets a golden standard for agents everywhere. She adapts like a chameleon to customer needs and above else has one of the highest levels of integrity I’ve ever seen.
Working in the mortgage industry, I hear a lot of horror stories of failed house purchases that run the gamut — failed loans, broken foundations, you name it. And that from veteran buyers.
When I first start looking into the market, I thought it would be a simple matter of having an offer accepted. But this couldn’t be further from the truth. Su-​Lan served as my guide throughout the process, insisting on seeing every property I wanted to bid on, pointing out physical issues I had not foreseen, and treating the transaction as if it were her own. There were many times where her opinion was invaluable — since what I didn’t know, I couldn’t ask.
4 offers and 3 weeks later, the offer was accepted. Less than 35 days later, COE.

Su-​Lan is a great agent and we bought an ideal house with her help. We are first-​time buyer and was totally new to this market. Su-​Lan is very patient with our questions and also think the best for us.
Buying a house in Bay Area is very difficult now. We had been looking open houses for months and failed several times.
