I had been waiting forever for a Che place to open up anywhere and when this place finally opened up I was thrilled. I probably came here every day when it first opened, but that is some major fat overload. Now, I come on occasion. I make my own concoction with red boba and taro mixed with #6.

Decent drinks! Except I can never remember what to order because they have so many to choose from! Service is decent. Line can be long on hot days but the wait has never been too bad. Would come back again soon.

FYI: ASOF9÷19÷14, BAMBUISCLOSEDUNTILFURTHERNOTICE. I stopped by last night and found the place boarded up with newspaper and a sign that says«under construction» with no projected reopening date. So get your drink fix at Fantasia or Quickly instead…

3.5 stars. This location was completely empty when I went in on a Friday night. Parking in Cupertino Village plaza was a nightmare though. I ordered the #1, which is my go-to drink at all Bambu locations. The drink was made quickly. Sadly, it didn’t taste as good as other locations. The coconut juice wasn’t sweet and the pandan jelly came in one hard, giant clump. It’s alright if you need a dessert fix, but I’d rather go to another Bambu.

Pretty good! Had been coming here instead, since I have a bad experience at the Cupertino Village location(found a metal shaving in my drink. ugh). Their Che has been consistently excellent. My go-to drink is their #6, which consists of everything — the rainbow color jellies, lychee and longan. Refreshing drinks at an affordable price, I will keep coming back :)

Did you know that some BAMBU are more expensive than others? The one in downtown Sunnyvale is more expensive, for the same drinks. My go-to drink is the avocado one, I forgot the number, but not the smoothie. I tried their avocado smoothie once and I think I prefer the Fantasia one more. I always switch out the jelly and put pandan jelly and pink/red tapioca instead. This is a nice place to chill at if it’s not crowded. The drinks always come out super fast.

Fancy location and fancy menu but bad tea! The boba places I tried are small and cozy and taste soo much better. We ordered Thai and jasmine tea, it was already too watery and she added plenty of ice and doesn’t have anyyy flavor! Not coming back!

I came here today and it was open!(last time I came, they were closed due to an emergency) It’s not my first time at Bambu(I’ve been to the one in San Francisco 2 times) but it was my first time at this location. I ordered #14 and it had red bean, taro and pandaan jelly. This drink was way better than #6 because of the overpowering toppings that were in there. #14 had just the right amount of toppings and it wasn’t too bland or sweet either. Would be back if I’m craving Bambu :)

After having dinner with some of my family members, my sister was asking if there were any Bambu locations near our location. Apparently, there was one that was within a couple mile drive. So off we went! Majority of my family members with me that night never had Bambu. I did have it before, but I wanted to try something different. My sister and cousin got recommendations from the cashier, while I went on my own and got the #2. The #2 is the combination. It consisted of red bean, white bean, green/mung bean, taro, pandan jelly, pearl, combo jelly. This dessert reminds me of one of my favorite Filipino desserts, halo halo. Very similar in looks and safe to say in taste. The beans, coconut jelly, boba were all soft and chewy. The shaved iced and sweetened condensed milk paired perfectly with the blend of assorted flavors. From sampling my sister’s and cousin’s order, everyone agreed that the #2 selection was the best. Now with summer on it’s way, I’ll for sure be back for a cool and refreshing dessert!

I’m not a huge Vietnamese Dessert Drink fan — they are beautiful and colorful but an odd concoction of strange beans, jelly’s, and coconut milk. One of my weaknesses are Avocado Smoothies, and they serve them fresh here. Don’t hate until you’ve tried it once. * Avocado Smoothie($ 3.25) — 4STARS: The tapioca balls were nice and chewy, they were generous with the avocado(ask for less sugar — I would opt for 25−50% next time), and the ice was blended to smooth, creamy perfection. I prefer a clean taste, and have fresh milk(vs. non-dairy creamer). This is most definitely the superior choice to Quickly, which is lower quality and more expensive. Cash only. Ask for a stamp.

Dear Boba, Sorry, we had a great time together but I have moved on. Love, J My new squeeze: BAMBU! I tried the dessert for a midnight sinful indulgence. It was completely worth breaking up with boba. I had this: Chè thp cm(combination) — Red bean, white bean, green/mung bean, taro, pandan jelly, pearl, combo jelly. While it was definitely on the sweeter side(but hey, it’s a dessert), it was rich in flavors and generous in the toppings. I only wished they had a spoon with the cup as well as I wanted to savor every last bit in my cup. I will definitely come back to this place again!

THEAVOCADODESSERTDRINK #5ISPHENOMENAL Chunky avocado goodness… even better than #6. If I had my way, I would have a «build your own dessert» option. That way, I’d have chunky avocado with coconut milk and jackfruit. But until then, the avocado dessert #5 is what I dream of.

This is another one of the places that my sister and her friends always post on instagram. I was super excited to try it out since we ended up running out of time the last time I went home. The menu is pretty simple. Lots of different combinations of the different add ins and then it is free to add whatever you want to the drink you pick. We ended up getting 3 #10s based on my sisters suggestion. The red tapioca are amazing!!! The outside has the consistency of boba but had the texture of water chestnuts when you bit into them. I love grass jelly so that was great. The pandan jelly was decent but the texture wasn’t as chewy as I would’ve liked it. I want to go back again and again to try all of their different toppings!

Never coming back. I ordered a Vietnamese Coffee and a Pearl Milk Tea. I asked both with no sugar. Pearl Milk Tea — I ordered with no sugar. It clearly came with a lot of sugar and it was super sweet. I asked them kindly that I had ordered with no sugar. The lady rejected saying it’s only the pearl balls that are sweet. I said I drank the tea only and it’s super sweet. The lady said she can dilute it and came back. The drink was still sweet. Don’t try to conserve. If you made a mistake, please remake the whole thing with no sugar. or maybe they use powdered milk and are unable to make it with no sugar, then in that case the worker should’ve told me when I made the order with no sugar. Vietnamese Coffee — I ordered with no sugar. It was like drinking syrup. I have been going to these pearl tea like shops for 15 years and this was the first time I spit out a drink. What a waste of time and money this was. I’m still giving it a 2⁄5 because the guy working at the cash register was nice. Update — Changing to a 3 because manager contacted me and said to try #1 which is their best seller

Cash Only? Take my Money! Boba is old news, try the new and improved Vietnamese style dessert drinks from BAMBU and prepare yourself to never crave tapioca balls again, Ever. I personally like #1 the best, I mean, it’s gotta be number one for a reason, right? It’s topped with coconut water so it isn’t as sweet as a lot of other drinks being made here. The sweetness comes from the jelly’s and real fruits that also gives it a fun, interactive chew with every sip of your drink. There’s a reason why these guys have a 4 star avg, it ain’t no fluke, these dessert drinks are delish and the few days out of the month i’m in SoCal, This might be my most missed establishment from South Bay AAAAreaaaA. P. S. San Jose BAMBU has a frequent buyers card but Cupertino doesn’t, when I inquired I found out, different ownership… different perks.

Huge upgrade period. During the time Q-cup was here, there were small groups coming here and there but it didn’t really have an effect. the store before was unorganized, slow, depressing, and basically not presentable. Now that BAMBU took over, everything looks completely different. The store is cleaner, the formation and design of the store is mid-sophisticated looking with better tables and seats space, and just the whole feel itself. Way better! Now the drinks are unique. It’s the Vietnamese style dessert drinks that contain fruit, jello, milk, beans, yams, and many more, topped with ice! It’s a better alternative to the typical pearl drinks. Service is decent here too. It’s quick getting your orders in here and just a couple mins to receive it. Overall, great place to be in Cupertino! This business will bloom I guarantee

Was hesitant to stop by as pricing was on the high side and there was no A/C. After seeing 4.5 stars on Unilocal,I had to try it out! Ordered the milk tea w/pearls and it was surprisingly good. Tea was full flavored, and not watered down. The sweetness was good and not overly sweet! The pearls were chewy too! At $ 3.25 cash only, no stamp cards, and no A/C, pricing was very expensive. The health inspector was also there during my visit. I overheard that the staff has another 30 days to get a food certification certificate…

After a great dinner with my pals at Tobang, we wanted to find a spot to chill for awhile and digest over dessert. Bambu had recently opened a new location in Cupertino and had great ratings, so we decided to cruise over and check it out. They had an enormous selection and I went with their #6, which had jackfruit, lychee, red tapioca, and just about every other tasty desserty thing in it. I liked the mixed flavors in the drink, but I wish they had cut everything a bit smaller so it could be sipped though the thick straw. Service was very friendly despite the fact that we showed up at the last minute. They’ve got lots of dog-friendly seating just out front, and a good amount of seating inside too. Prices are moderate for a dessert, with most things costing about $ 4. I’d definitely go back for a milk tea sometime! Food: 8⁄10 Service: 9⁄10 Price: $ Atmosphere: 8⁄10

Finally a che place in Cupertino! I love the new location of BAMBU Desserts and drinks. In the past, I’ve had to go all the way to Milpitas to get some che. It’s great that they have a location in Cupertino now! The drinks are fabulous! You can get all sorts of different types of jellies and beans in your che. The variety of ingredients is great and they have something for everyone! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for some good quality che!

The Cupertino area is always infested with new tapioca joints but never anything else. So when I saw the little Bambu picture on Unilocal front page the other day saying that they have one in Cupertino now, I sped off to this place right after class! Finding this place was pretty tricky for me at first. I knew that the location was in the 99 ranch market area but I didn’t know where exactly it was. After circling the entire lot thinking that it was located on the outer edge of the plaza, I was dumbfounded when I realized it was literally RIGHTNEXT to 99 ranch. If you were to stand directly infront of 99 ranch, it would be on your left side. Prior to arriving at this place, I looked up the menu online and knew what I wanted instantly. I ordered the Chè trái cây dessert with the extra red tapioca in it. The total came out to about 3.75 and I eagerly waited for my dessert to come out so I can eat it right away! :0 The Che dessert that I got was SOOOOOOGOOD! It consisted of Lychee, longan(like longan w/o the slight tart), red tapioca(tapioca like jelly with a crunchy middle), jackfruit(sweet yellow chewy fruit), palm seed(semisweet crunchy fruit), pandan jelly(chewy jelly), jello and young coconut. The dessert was then topped off with a scoop of shaved ice to make it nice and cold! The best thing about this dessert was that it wasn’t overly sweet like most places would make it. The flavors of the sweet fruit were nicely balanced out by the coconut milk that was added to it. The palm seed and red tapioca also added a nice crunch to it! This location sure did make a good first impression for me! Nice friendly cashier lady that helped me and the dessert was amazing. Can’t wait to come back! ***BTW***: Ca$h only so don’t think twice about bringing your plastic card filled with your moneys!

Where did that Korean women’s clothing store and Quickly’s go? Like a lot of stores in Cupertino Village, stores come and go, and Bambu has just arrived. So far so good, I walked in with no expectations whatsoever, and walked out slightly more cheerful with a piña colada in hand. My friend had the Che 3 Mau(#3 under Desserts) which also tasted pretty good and came with a bag of shaved ice. The highlight of both drinks is the grass jelly and the pandan jelly. They’re long and squiggly, and taste like candy. They’re not the type of grass jelly you get in pearl milk tea places, but similar to the Indonesian drink Cendol. I’m excited that Bambu will have a grand opening this Saturday, March 2nd starting 11 am. So far so good. I’m not Vietnamese, nor have I ever tried Bambu before, but I give the owners of this franchise props for giving the Chinese/Taiwanese community in Cupertino something interestingly different to try. Bambu also has wifi, but it’s not somewhere to prop your laptop for a few hours. Rather, it’s somewhere you come with a sweet-tooth lady friend, maybe check your email on your smartphone, and leave a tip after you’re done with your drink.
