We specialize in hand-crafted, made from scratch, artisanal pies and baked goods. We source our ingredients from local farmers market and use organic ingredients whenever possible. We also cater events of all sizes including birthdays, weddings, corporate events and more.
History
Established in 2014.
Sugar Pie Honey Buns was started by pastry chef, Michelle Park, who has been working in the restaurant business for 10 years in New York and Los Angeles. She left the restaurant world to pursue her dreams of owning her own bakery. Sugar Pie Honey Buns was created to provide the community with quality hand made pies and pastries, made with only the best produce from local farmers markets.
Meet the Business Owner
Michelle L.
Business Owner
Michelle is pastry chef, animal lover, and adventurer. She trained at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York. For a decade, she honed her skills in New York and Los Angeles establishments like the Michelin Star-rated restaurant Public, Frankies 457, Prime Meats and One Girl Cookies in Brooklyn. She was also the pastry chef at Kyotofu and Akasha. In 2012, she was a contestant on the Food Network show, Sweet Genius, and has made appearances on Martha Stewart’s Sirius XM radio show.
