Stripless Wax

Lauren was great! It was my first wax and she actually made it quite a pleasant experience! The location was cute and clean and very welcoming. I will definitely be back and recommend Stripless to all my friends!

Had my first eyebrow wax with Alexandra today. She was very nice, professional and cleaned my brows up nicely. Her place was clean and relaxing. I will continue to go to her.

Amazing place. I haven’t had any bad experiences. I am usually very sensitive to pain however Lauren is the best she’s always made sure I am comfortable and my experience pain free. Highly recommended.

Got my eyebrows done here by Alex and she did an awesome job! After a botch eyebrow job at another salon (had to grow my brows out for 2+ months), I’ve been weary about where I get my brows done. I told Alex my concerns and she totally understood where I was coming from and what I wanted. Also, Alex (who’s the owner) is awesome! She’s super friendly and made me feel super comfortable. I will be coming here not only for my brows but other waxing needs as well!

Virgin to waxing. Felt unbelievably comfortable. Good conversation, waxing technique, super friendly. The whole aura of the place made the waxing a lot less nerve wracking and painful. Fit me into her schedule in less than 15 minutes when every other place I called was booked for the night, spent a great deal of time and care and did not feel rushed or anxious to get to next appointment who was waiting outside. Would definitely go again and recommend to friends.

Alex is amazing! I drive three hours from up north specifically for her! I hate waxing and she makes the whole process much less painful. I highly recommend her!

Alexandra is really nice and doesn’t make waxing awkward. I would recommend going to her because it doesn’t hurt at all! I was so scared to get my face waxed after I got burnt, but she did not burn me at all! I would be coming back to her because I trust her with my face :).

Alexandra is the best waxer in town, handsdown. I would give her 5 star for everything. For making you feel comfortable and safe, giving the best wax (believe me the best ever) with least amount of pain, crearing beautiful ambiance with music and candles, keeping the salon and equipments exquisitely clean, flexibility of scheduling and the list can go on. She is super friendly and I can’t imagine getting a wax from anyone else. I highly recommend Alexandra to everyone.

Had to switch places for waxing and came across this location. I made a last minute appointment and was accommodated. I couldn’t be more happy with the service and minimal discomfort. The location is close and easy to find parking. I am now looking forward to my next wax and future facials!

I was concerned about turning red and getting some kind of irritation on my upper lip before my trip to Korea, but I had nothing!!! No redness, no irritations or swelling and it was pretty much painless. I woke up the next morning with a perfect face! I am so lucky to have found you! I highly recommend Alexandra for all your waxing needs.

Alex is super sweet. I was going to queen bee and decided to try the hard wax instead. My skin is usually super irritated after queen bee from the soft wax and strips, but not an issue at all. And the pain with the hard wax is not nearly as bad with the soft wax!!! Alex introduced me to this coconut balm which I use all the time now and love! She texts me to remind me it’s time to come in and she’s super flexible when I can come in. When she is going to be gone she sends an email saying when she’ll be out. She is super considerate! Her personality is so upbeat and adorable. I would def recommend this place! No more soft wax for me– hard wax is def the way to go!

I went in to see Alex for a back waxing. I’m a relatively big fella, with a good amount of back/​shoulder hair and was a few days away from a beachy vacation. So, naturally, I thought I’d get my first back-​waxing so I could walk around confidently without my shirt on.
Alex was super-​accomodating and was able to fit me in on very short notice. The session was probably about 30 minutes long and Alex was awesome. I was comfortable and happy with the results. I would recommend Stripless to any man wanting to clean up with a good waxing.

I received a gift certificate for a facial and I was really looking forward to some «me» time. It was well worth it! Alex was very personable, but not too talkative and she created a very comforting environment so I was really able to take in the pampering. I also found she knew her techniques and products and was able to fine tune the facial to my specific needs.
I would definitely recommend her services to my friends and family… I love finding new, local spots run by good people!

Alex is the best and super accommodating! I have a hectic schedule and she is always available to work me in! She specializes in waxing but I go to her for facials. She is very knowledgeable about the products she uses and always follows up with me a couple days after my appointment to make sure my skin is at it’s best! I totally recommend

I have been to quite a few waxing spots in Los Angeles. Stripless Wax has an incredible aura. It is located in Rawk Body (I think that’s the name on the building). The décor is very airy and clean. Alexandra does her work in the second floor inside the yoga studio/​gym.
Alexandra is very hospitable and has a great bed side manner. Her conversation and breathing techniques help relieve the pain of getting a Brazilian.
The wax was a hard wax which I was all too familiar with. I have had several bad experiences with hard wax, but I have to say the experience was good overall.
I found street parking and I was in and out within 30 minutes!

Here are the things I care about when it comes to waxing, in descending order of importance: that the waxer actually gets the hair off (this might include tweezing the last bits if the wax doesn’t cut it — hey, it’s a detail i’m not interested in doing myself, that’s why i’m paying!), that she’s not so booked out that i have to rearrange my weekend to get in to see her, that the wax itself is as painless as possible, and that the waxer is a down-​to-​earth person who is not awkward or weird.
Alexandra hits each of these things perfectly. She’s super chatty and easy to get along with, efficient but takes the time to get the hair out (including tweezing and extractions of ingrowns if necessary!), immediately puts you at ease, and very available because she lives close to her salon.
She also hits on the stuff I don’t care as much about: the salon is spotless, she uses gloves (I mean, I care about general cleanliness, but I don’t need something super antiseptic), there are candles, she uses after– products that soothe and help prevent ingrowns. Her prices are fair for the high quality of service. Which is to say, you’re not going to get a $ 30 Brazillian, but it will also be less of a drive-​through experience, and you’ll be happier in the long run.
I came in because she was well-​reviewed on Unilocal and available when I needed her, but I’ll be a returning customer.
