Plumber To The Rescue

Eddie came out and fixed the wax seal and also adjusted the lower pipes. We have been dealing with this issue for a while and no one has been able to properly fix it except for Eddie. I highly recommend Plumber to the Rescue!

Warren, Alice and everyone else at Plumber to the Rescue are great. Servicing most of the West LA area, we’ve used them numerous times including this morning.
We had a leak in the ceiling that caused water damage. The folks on the phone explained their rates ahead of time while trying to schedule an inspection. I was told who to expect (Alex is a very helpful person BTW), and how much it would cost.
But what makes them even better is that they even told me how I could save some money by doing part of the work myself. It was a considerable amount of money too.
All in all, just another good service from these folks. Other services include replacing a water heater and remodel work such as faucet + showerhead pipes behind the wall.

They came to my house to repair a pipe and clean out the drains. It was very good service for a reasonable price. I would recommend them to everyone.

I had a plumbing issue where water was backing up through the toilet and coming from the out pipe in the wall when my washing machine was draining. Water was flooding everywhere.
I firstly called a local plumbing & heating place in the area to be advised after popping by for a quick estimate would cost $ 375 1^st hour then $ 165 each hour thereafter. Way over my budget!
I then called after closing to Plumber to the Rescue.
Alex called back soon after & arranged an appointment for Matthew to come out next day with a 2 hour window. They called to let me know they were on their way. Price was way cheaper than my other estimate. The guy’s did the job in under an hour no hassle & very efficient.
I had an issue soon after when I turned on my washing machine where I still had a leak from the wall and they turned their van around and came back straight away with an extra plumber on hand to help and fixed it within 30 mins at no extra charge!
Awesome, very impressed. These Guy’s are very sincere!
Turns out they had initially cleared a blockage from far down in the main pipe but I also had another blockage 10feet down in the other pipe also which I had to have my washing machine on to discover.
I would highly recommend this company.

I called around 3pm to see if I could get a plumber out to fix a shower drain and a leaking toilet. These folks were great. Josh showed up right when I was told he would be there. He wasted no time. He fixed everything within 30 minutes. Their pricing was reasonable. I will definitely use them again for my plumbing needs.

I purchased a new toilet and needed a plumber to take care of the installation. Eddie arrived within a couple of hours of my call. The new toilet had a minor manufacturing defect which Eddie detected and fixed. He was professional and pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend his service and definitely will be using Plumber To the Rescue in the future for my plumbing needs.

We have used Eddie with Plumber to the Rescue three times over the past two years. They were responsive (same day appointments) and economically fixed our plumbing issues. They replaced a water heater, fixed a leaky tub and shower faucet, and a backed up kitchen drain. Eddie is professional and really knows his trade. They are my go-​to for plumbing issues.

They came within an hour of my call, Eddie came in, banged it out and was on his way within 20 minutes. We are glad to have found a reliable, affordable and professional company in our area. We will definitely ONLY be using Plumber To The Rescue going forward and will ask for Eddie every time.

I called «Plumber To The Rescue» on 1/​6, they came on 1÷7÷16. I read Unilocal review before called them that many customer was very happy for the service so, I decided to try them a first time. They came on time and did what they had to do for the partial clogged main line. I spend $ 133.50. I was very happy that it fixed well until TODAY! After 2 weeks later of service, it clogged again! Usually, it hold up1−2 years to call pluming service. I called them this morning but, they are not open until Monday.

They gave me a real low quote compare to other local plumbers, to install a new gas line from the meter to the house, they had to dig up 30 feet of old line,
Came on time and cleaned up real good after!

The plumber was snappish and rude. He apologized for his rude attitude, but he still took my check. Appreciated the apology, but maybe shouldn’t have been rude in the first place? Actively solicited my Unilocal review — did he expect it to be positive?
I would not call them again, and I would not recommend them. Sorry.

I have used them twice so far, for my business and my home. They have replaced a few toilets for me and fixed and outdoor gas fireplace both at a reasonable price, and did it quickly and cleanly. I called them again today for a job and this time the plumber was accompanied by the owners son (who is apprenticing and learning the trade). Being a father I thought that was kind of cool, learning the family business.
Many plumber prey on the naïve, but not these guys, or at least in my experience so far. You never get the feeling that they are trying to sneak one by you which is good because I actually would know if they were from my background in contracting. Overall they are respectful and more importantly got it done right. What more is there to say?

This is a tough review to write because the plumber himself was fine. He did his job and communicated everything he did very clearly. The problem is the owner, Warren and the pricing. I have a vacation rental in Malibu that I property manage and Saturday morning the guests reported the bathroom shower faucet would only discharge scalding hot water. Needless to say I needed to get this fixed right away. So I called 10 – 15 plumber first thing Saturday morning and couldn’t find a plumber who would serice Malibu. I finally found Plumber 2 The Rescue. Warren DID NOT quote a price but only said it would cost more than the usual service call because the house was on the other side of Malibu. I said it didn’t matter as the most important thing at that time was to get it fixed. The plumber went out but didn’t call me until he left the property. He said the valve or actuator he took out fit but there was still something wrong that meant the faucet had to be used a certain way and the person using had to be careful. I told him he needed to go back and in Magic Marker write the directions on the shower wall since it’s a rental and the entire lower floor was being torn out in a month so we were not going to replace the entire faucet at this time. That’s when the plumber said the bill was already up to around $ 500 but I said he had to go back and write the instructions.
I received a call from the plumber when he was all done and told me what he did. Then I got a call from Warren, the owner, and he told me the total cost was $ 925.00 and that my credit card was already run for the amount. I asked him why it cost $ 425.00 for the plumber to go back and write instructions on the shower wall? He said something about the bill being over $ 600 at that point and that didn’t include parts. I didn’t get the Invoice emailed to me until late the next day AFTER I texted Warren to remind him. After I received the Invoice I simply couldn’t believe what they charged. I wrote a reply back asking for an adjustment and for them to justify the cost of over $ 300 for the actuator. It’s been a week and Warren still has not returned my message.
In summary, I have nothing bad whatsoever to say about the plumbers but I would be VERY CAREFUL, make sure to get a written quote up front and make sure there is clear communications at every stage of your job. Don’t let these guys do to you what they did to me. I also suggest you look around and read other reviews here on Unilocal,Angie’s List and other web sites. If I had more time and this wasn’t an emergency, I probably would NOT have used these guys based on the reviews. Clear rip off!

This guys were fantastic with us.
I needed my fridge to work properly with the water and ice dispenser. The issue was way more complicated that I expected. They took the time to explain what was going on. They found a solution and now everything works perfectly.
They were super nice, respectful, punctual and reliable.
I definitely recommend them.

I had a flooding kitchen sink. I called these guys at 8.30am in the morning. They came straight away (about 45 mins. later.)
Josh and Matt are the guys who came to me. They were respectful, courteous, and very professional. They unclogged the kitchen pipe, and pretty much solved the problem in about 15 mins. They cleaned up after themselves, and that was it!
Now I can get back to my day and the problem is solved! Will definitely call these guys again. Thnx Plummer To The Rescue!

We were dealing with a gurgling toilet and a bathtub that would not drain. It was really gross. In the past, out of sheer desperation, I have just called the first number of the needed business I came upon on the internet. This time, having learned my lesson, I decided to research a bit more.
I came across PTTR and will not be looking back. After playing phone tag for a bit (my fault, I was at work) we set up an appointment. He was never short with me or exasperated that he couldn’t reach me. Always very nice and polite. Not even when i called back to ask for an estimate AFTER I had scheduled the appointment. He gave me estimates for best case scenario ($ 89 for mainline cleaning) to worst case scenario (new pipes or something like that… way too much for me to handle).
I had wanted them to come out that day immediately but Warren warned me it would be an additional $ 40 since it was after 4p. So I waited and made my appointment for the following day.
The day of the appointment I received a courtesy call informing me they would be arriving in 25 mins. Eddie and Ray arrived promptly and upon their arrival to my condo they removed their shoes… Can I tell you just how much I appreciated this? Especially after seeing the sludge they trudge around it. I felt they really respected my home. Nice touch fellas!
I won’t go into the details of the work, only to say they did a fantastic job in under an hour. Eddie explained everything as he was going along and he and Ray were very personable.
The only tiny miscommunication was when Warren quoted me $ 89 for mainline cleaning. He failed to inform me that if it was a 2 man job it would be $ 89×2. However, I believe myself to be fair and can see how this additional charge makes sense. Plus he did inform me it might be more so I figured this was the «more.»
They also guarantee their work for 30 days.

We had a leaking pipe that needed immediate attention. Called and scheduled an appt. James showed up and as the real deal of a «Plumbing Doctor», he evaluated the situation, gave us the cost to fix — that was more than reasonable for the work, and got to work. He was efficient, very detailed and worked hard all while being friendly and answered any questions we had. We had used someone else before, who had overcharged us by quite a bit — didn’t realize it then when it was an emergency. We would only call Plumber to the Rescue from now on. You would call them too if you are looking for honest and high integrity plumber, who delivers on their estimate and get the job done!

I’m a fan because of their price. I called about 10 plumbers and the cheapest quote I received to unclog a kitchen sink was from these folks.
I am docking stars mainly due to the timeliness of their service. I called on a Thursday morning but a plumber couldn’t come out until Monday at the earliest. When I made the appointment the dispatcher asked for a 2-​hour window for when they should come. Well, you guessed it! They came an hour past the 2-​hour window. This was a seemingly simple job that they completed in 15 minutes so I don’t understand how they could get so far behind schedule.
On the bright side, they offer to come back at no charge within 30 days if the drain is still not cleared. However, when they returned the second time they were an hour late AGAIN.
