Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt

Tonight three of us went into the restaurant to get some ice cream. Unfortunately the customer service was so bad we decided to go down the street to cold stone. The two women behind the counter just talked to each other and do not pay attention to any of the customers.
We really like to support local small businesses however it’s very hard to do so when customer service is so bad.

I’ve been here a couple of times as this is the only self serve frozen yogurt place in Downtown Culver City. It is your standard self serve fro-​yo place with rotating flavors. I’ve always experienced the dispensing area to be clean, toppings bar well stocked and a smiling female behind the register. Price wise its 45c an ounce which is only a touch more than other fro-​yo places meaning that it does not have a downtown Culver City premium. I’ll will be back if I’m in the area.

Suffering from Menchie’s withdrawal. Unfortunately, I live in the single place in the nation where Menchie’s does not exist, and Yogurtland lately has not been cutting it. Thus, my first stop in LA was the one and only Smenchies (yes…add the S).
With its location on Main Street, which should probably called Main Restaurant Street with all the options, Menchie’s would be a fitting after dinner treat. Although, I don’t discriminate on froyo timing.
This location:
— Usual number of Menchie’s flavors with my favorite toasted marshmallow and the special seasonal ones. Also, there was a low carb low sugar option.
— Sample cups. Wahoo
— The topping choices were a bit sparse. Missing were some of my favorite cereals.
— The star of the trip was the WAFFLE CONE. Usually crunchy and homemade on their waffle irons, for a second I was disappointed when I bit into softer cone — alas, holy smokes! It was more like waffle crack with the taste of cinnamon and sweetness permeating throughout a softer base.
So, will travel — will travel to Menchie’s!

As far as taste this place is the soo good, I love the tart. If we are talkibg about service is ok, I will be visiting againg solely on the product.

I was introduced to the Menchie’s chain in Las Vegas, and was ridiculously impressed by the creative flavors and toppings selection. No sugar added flavors at Menchie’s taste like the real thing, and sometimes better!
This location is fairly new and has a bright,
open design. The yogurt dispenser area can get a little crowded, though, especially as people try samples. There are tons of toppings, waffle cones, and sauces (including Hot Fudge and Peanut Butter, my favorites).
My only reason for four stars is the lack of seating. I frequently come here with a group and it would be nice to enjoy our yogurt inside the store!

This location is bigger, new, cleaner, and has different toppings than the one I went to on Sepulveda and Jefferson. I had the dark chocolate and pineapple flavors. Sadly, there was no Unilocal check in offer here though. Service was friendly and nice. Parking is in downtown Culver City at the parking structures, valet stations, or street parking if you are lucky.

I was in downtown Culver City walking home from the bank and I first stopped off at the Farmer’s Market and once I left, I discovered the Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt store.
It is fairly new store which is only about one year old and during my visit, I met with Keenan and Lindsey who are their very friendly staff who have a lot of thorough knowledge on their various types of Frozen Yogurts.
While I was there, I had the opportunity to try samples of them all and believe me, you can never get bored over here.
Their yogurts are constantly changing and while I was there, I tried the following ones which included:

Strawberry Banana Breeze

Their selections are amazing and during my visit, one of their customers had made out a Very Special Request to please bring back the «Non-​Dairy Chocolate Sorbet» so I assume that it was her favorite flavor and/​or perhaps it should be kept as a Permanent Flavor for those such customers who require «Non-​Dairy Yogurt».
In any case, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt Rocks and Thank You once again, «Keenan» and «Lindsey» for Your Outstanding Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt Customer Service!

Menchies was once a good friend of mine. A treat to have from time to time. But now the toppings are sugary fare without one carob chip to spare. My mix has changed just not as good. Makes me stay away from this sweet treat food. So until carob comes rolling back round. I guess I’ll have to skip the froyo pound!

They tend to have some really fun and good flavors. Definitely take advantage of the free samples. They don’t really police it and its worth it to try them all! Sometime a flavor that sounds good ends up tasting kind of fake or too sweet.
They recently had cookie butter frozen yogurt and it was awesome!
Their topping situation is also great. They have a wide variety of options. I usually go for the peanut m&ms or the oreos. But they have lots fo fruit too if you feel like being healthier. I always tell myself I will only get fruit on top, but I fail miserably :)

I like the flavors they have. The music was a bit meh but like the colors and it seems to be great for kids they even have a separate room for parties

BEST flavors of frozen yogurt and so many topping options! Very welcoming employees and it’s such a family-​friendly place. Joe, the manager, welcomes you as a friend, not just another customer. Quick service as well! Definitely try this place!

Went there over the weekend and this place is pretty solid! You could pick from a handful of favors and get it on your own. Same with toppings, just note they charge by weight. Tasted very good and they were fast at the register.

Fruit selection was little to nonexistant. Disappointed I could not find as many topping selectio s as yogurtland. Brentwood location is better.

Cute store, nice staff, good frozen yogurt.
Nothing stands out as needing to go back, but nothing was bad either.
I would personally rather eat ice cream, gelato or snow cream, but my son loves froyo and creating his own master piece of flavors and toppings.
Prices are fair, we usually go for more froyo, less toppings but they do have good selection.

Menchies is the new place on Main Street. It is nice to have it here for dessert after a meal at one of the many restaurants in the area. I wish they served the cherries without the stems on them.

I’ve been here a few times now and can’t really complain. They didn’t honor the Unilocal 10% off discount for «checking in,» but other than that it was good. Sometimes they don’t have the biggest/​best flavor selection, but I always manage to find something I like, plus you can choose how much and what toppings. It’s not too expensive, compared to some places.

I hate when places like this have no public restroom. Other than that, it is a cool, although very small, place.

On a whim between three frozen dessert places Menchies won our vote– and their flavors are awesome– the red velvet is just like the cake, their dulce de leche and apple pie are amazing! If you’re smart about not wasting you can get away with enough for one person under $ 2. Only negative– what’s with the soft rock? Seriously Nickleback?*sigh*

I’m happy downtown culver city finally has a frozen yogurt place but I’m sad that Menchie’s is sucky. The pineapple is canned and the kiwi was crazy sour. Pretty much the fruit selection isn’t the ripest. And they don’t carry condensed milk!
