At Live Right we specialize in making nutritious Acai bowls and smoothies. We have a great variety for the creative minds that want to take the acai bowl to the next level. We also offer organic coffee and alkaline water.

History

Established in 2014.

In the beginning of 2014 one of my workout friends in the South Bay got me hooked on Acai bowls. Him and I would go everyday after our workouts, I couldn’t believe how easy it was for me to eat healthy. For once eating healthy tasted amazing. After a while of driving to redondo beach everyday I started looking for a shop that specialized in Acai bowls by me. There wasn’t really anything around me and with me preaching about it everyday, I realized that this was what I wanted to do. With me only being 23 years old I didn’t really have much to lose, I was a union carpenter that enjoyed what I was doing but didn’t really see a future in that. I took what I learned as a carpenter and designed, draw my own blue prints and built everything myself. It was an awesome experience, its pretty cool to be able to say I built my business from the ground up.

I’ve had acai bowls at different places and this place is hands down the best. They have variety of blends and toppings to choose from. Ingredients are fresh and good. What I like about this place is that you get to choose what you want in addition to them offering a set menu. Other places give you few set acai bowl choices to choose from whereas this place gives you the option of creating your own.
Not sure why they’re not open on Sundays when that’s the one day lot of people will be off work. Considering the acai bowls are great breakfast option, I would hope they open on Sundays as well.
There’s meter parking in the front. Located at the corner of the street. Open, chill vibe inside with several tables/​chairs.

I was looking for somewhere by me that had acai bowls (seeing as I’d never tried them) Quickly found this spot … It was super easy to park and you literally go in and out! Fast and friendly service! Love this place! Called in after searching for a healthy alternative to a breakfast for my office as we were all tired of fatty egg sandwiches and pastries.
This location is huge and right on a bright corner off Washington, but parking looks like it may be tough? Not sure because I came for a pick up.
Anyway, I called in the day before to pursue a large order and Chris, the manager (?), was extremely helpful trying to help me find the best options for my coworkers.
We ended up selecting a few of each of their flavors, with a small smörgåsbord of toppings, including fruit, nuts, honey, etc.
The only flavor that was a bit off was the «green» flavor, mostly because of the creaminess from the avocado, but otherwise it was all good!
The office loved it as did I, so I will definitely be coming back on my own!

This is by far my favorite acai spot! We’ve been to places that are way more «trendy» but I’m always disappointed by the quality! Not with this place though! Their bowls are so delicious & beautifully crafted. The staff is so friendly, always smiling and super helpful
— High quality ingredients (I always order the gluten free granola and the pure acai with no added sugars or juices)
–Handcrafted and so pretty you almost feel bad taking that first bite

Was on an acai kick and found this place on groupon and bought their $ 7 for $ 10 value deal. Used it on the last day before it expires an hour before they closed.
Parking was easy right out front in the 30minute meters and it was pretty empty inside with only one person in front of me.
The three staff there were extremely friendly and the place was really clean and had a laid-​back fill with some reggae playing.
I ended up getting the tropical acai bowl but since I’m allergic to kiwi I swapped out the kiwi and papaya for spinach all with no problem no additional charge. I also asked for two sides of granola which were given to me with no charge.
This place is a little out-​of-​the-​way for me to frequent but if I’m ever craving açai I definitely come back.

Definitely one of the better Acai spots that I’ve been to in the area.
I’ve been here twice and got the same thing each time: Pure Açai with (no banana) almond milk, granola, mango, strawberries and bee pollen.
If there’s not enough granola in your bowl you can add as much as you like at a little station that they have set up on the side as well as agave and honey.
The regular size bowl is pretty large and filling, I can’t imagine getting the bigger bowl.
Highly recommend this place if you’re in Culver City and craving Açai bowls.

Recently found out about this place and it’s pretty awesome!
I think it’s fairly new ?
They have different options in acai and different blends. I always just get their 100% original acai with original blend to avoid any kind of added sugar. With that you get granola, bananas and honey and get another topping for free! If you want to add more it’s 50 to 75 cents.
If you’re craving more of a sweet acai bowl, I would go with the acai with Gurana with the original blend.
If you are looking for something more tarting and berry like, go with the original with guarantee and berry blast blend.
If you are looking for something more healthy get the 100% original and the green blend! It’s really hearty! (you will taste the vegetables but I don’t think it’s overbearing).
I’m definitely going to try the protein, next time !

Wow service is great here. The staff were extremely friendly and patient with me and my group! We didn’t quite understand each of the choices, but explained everything. The acai bowls were so delicious and a perfect morning breakfast for us before we headed to the beach! I got it with chia seed and it was bomb!
And the unlimited granola and agave you can continue to add on is AMAZING. So props to you guys, live right acai! Now we can officially say we had an acai bowl from the west coast!
Overall, awesome acai bowl. Each flavor was so distinct in the blend and we loved it. Next time we’re in LA, definitely gonna make a pit stop here!

The chocolate vegan protein bowl with blackberries and hemp seeds is amazing!
For us first-​timers the ordering was a little confusing, but the guy at the register explained the process very nicely.
I ordered:
1. Large bowl
2. 100% pure acai
3. Protein blend, veganized with chocolate pea protein
4. With blackberries and hemp seeds as my two additional toppings
All the bowls already include granola and banana as default toppings that you choose 1 or 2 additional toppings to add to (medium-​1, large-​2).
The large was very filling, which was surprising because I have a Hugh Jass appetite, especially when it comes to acai bowls.
Street parking was free and easy on the side streets in front of the houses.

I got their Green Signature Bowl. You could definitely taste the green veggies in them. I thought it overpowered the taste of the fruits and I probably should’ve gotten a different, fruitier bowl. I gave it a 3 only because I expected a sweeter bowl and I probably will try a different bowl. However, I have tried other acai bowls similar to theirs and it tasted a little bit more tasty. I also got their almonds as the additional topping. It was almost too much to eat the entire bowl because their almonds was probably half my bowl. If you’re a fan of a lot of almonds, then I would suggest getting it.
So, I would probably come check it out again, but I would try their smoothie and a different fruitier type of smoothie. I would also avoid getting any of their nuts. Even though I’m a huge fan of almonds, it almost made me tired of almonds because of the almond overload. I do appreciate that they have a bottle of agave and honey on the side, but even after adding it, it still didn’t taste what I expected.

Love that workers greet you with a smile when you first walk in.
They have a game of tic tac toe that you can play while waiting (took about 5 – 10 minutes on a busy Saturday morning).
Acai bowls are delish and the small cup ($ 6.95) was filling for me. It’s a dollar more to upgrade to the next size.
Ordered the tropical (banana, mango, pineapple, kiwi, papaya) with pitaya/​dragonfruit and almonds. There are many different options and toppings. You can even build your own.
So glad I found this place! Will be back.

This is the first and last acai place I will go to! The fruit is fresh, the workers incredibly kind and helpful, and the prices are affordable. The only bit I have is an option for almond or nut free granola, since not everyone loves nuts and for people with allergies.

Finally got to check this place out, and Omg these bowls are so damn good! Acai with all kinds of healthy stuff inside and on top: granola, fruit, seeds, and honey (you can request Agave for vegan friendly option).
There’s is ample table seating and couch seating.
I would never have known about this place without Unilocal,so shout out to all the Unilocalers for always posting cool sh!+ because I’ll definitely be back for more Acai!

Yum! I think Hawaii has some of the best acai bowls, butttt I don’t live in Hawaii :(I’m glad Live Right Acai is right by my apartment and I regret not trying it sooner! The bf and I came here for Saturday breakfast around 9:30am. There was one other couple there, but the place definitely got busier as the morning went on.
We shared a large build your own acai bowl — check in on Unilocal for 10% off! I really enjoyed the taste and texture of our bowl, but our mistake was adding macadamia nuts on top. Super plus points for giving us a mountain of macadamias, but it was just too rich for us in the acai bowl. Note to self, don’t choose this next time.
The workers are super nice and friendly, place is modern, clean and gets a lot of sunlight through the windows. Parking is easy to find on the weekends, they have a bathroom and free wifi access! We ate and read for a while, really nice way to spend a weekend morning. Will definitely be back!

Pleasant surprise finding this place. Not 100% sure how many Acai places are around the area, but it’s nice to know this place is here.
To start of, parking is very limited around the area. Only minimal street parking. Once inside, the interior is very clean, nice and modern. Plenty of seating and open area. The service was great. Very friendly with nice explanations of the menu. Got a small Acai bowl, which was pretty good. Not overly sweet, and pretty good size for a small. Presentation was great as well. It is a little pricey tho (almost $ 7 for a small bowl), so may want to keep that in mind.
Overall, great Acai spot in Culver City. Will definitely come back to try some of the other blends!

Between the bowl and smoothie, they are the same price and it seems like the bowl is the better deal in terms of bang for your buck. Regardless, I think I prefer Backyard Bowls… :-$

Came by looking for a light breakfast after doing the short hike to Baldwin Hills Overlook.
Acai bowl was on point!
You can choose a couple extra toppings (I had almonds and berries), and they have honey and other sweet toppings you can drizzle on yourself. The acai was blended well (no huge chunk of ice in my bowl unlike some other places!) and it wasn’t overly tart. Generous serving too!

LIVE RIGHT ACAI… healthy ALL around. Not only are Acai berries healthy, according to their website pointing to the 12 health benefits of Acai Berries… #11 states «better sex». Men, eat those acai bowls.
The taste and texture of my Acai was PERFECT. The texture had that smooth consistency like a sorbet. Anytime you see Acai + Guarana, MUST GET. The guarana gives out natural caffeine which gave my body an extra boost of energy (perfect for that evening workout). My Acai wasn’t too sweet, sour, or bland… had that amazing berry flavor. The bowl is garnished with granola, banana, and honey. I added an extra toppingof kiwi to get a little bit of tangy flavor and balance of color for presentation (i’m weird like that).
Definitely my GO-​TO place in Culver City for my Acai fix.
