Scott is very knowledgeable about his craft. Drakes was even able to get old blueberry stains out of my wool rug. Very easy to deal with and reasonably priced. Highly recommend this company for cleaning your finest rugs.

We used Drake’s Carpet for a new 150-​unit apartment building and they were fantastic! Well if it’s new what’s there to clean, you ask? Well we had major dust/​soot/​dirt from drywall repairs and a small welding fire. They were able to get the soot and smoke smell out of the carpet and worked with us on our tough scheduling process. On several occasions they worked until late evening just to accommodate our tenants. We are so grateful to Scott and his team. He was even able to install new carpet in many of the units (ask for Francisco). Their prices are very reasonable, I would recommend Drakes for large jobs and small/​home jobs just the same. He communicates well, shows up on time, and is ready to do the job till you’re completely satisfied.

Unbelievably great experience. Scott and Cameron were the best carpet and rug cleaners I’ve ever experienced. They took our three area rugs to their shop to clean (beautifully), and we also had them clean the wall-​to-​wall carpeting throughout the house. Fast. Great Value. Precise. Cautious with our furnishings to the point of being «delicate.»

Scott and his team came to my client’s Marina Del Rey Home not knowing how dirty the carpets were. They were upfront about what was feasible, however, they exceeded their own expectations.

I don’t know where to start. Diana came out and helped us pick put flooring for our condo. and her crew came and installed it. and it looks like a million dollars. Then Scott and Cameron came out and shampooed the bedroom carpets… they look like new. We have dog, cat, wild grandchildren and in all honesty we often forget to remove our shoes at home.
Our home looks better than when it was new! We highly recommend their services.

No joke. — Scott and Cameron are MIRACLE WORKERS! For the last 8 years or so, our microfiber sofa has been collecting all assorted fluids and messes. We have 2 toddlers and 2 cats, so we are talking NASTY stuff — years and years of juice, milk, pee, spit up… others that I just don’t want to share. We were about 10 minutes from tossing our disaster to the curb and starting over, til my wife called Scott.
Scott and Cameron didn’t make us any promises, and we were just looking for any improvement, any at all!!, but after a few hours, we had ourselves a good-​as-​new couch!

I called Drakes Carpet Cleaning yesterday because of the other reviews that I saw on Unilocal!I’m SO glad that I did.
I spoke with Scott, who is so friendly, knowledgeable and nice!
I had made a mess of my couch, and needed some help with fixing it. I thought I had fleas in the couch, so sprayed it with this horrible stuff that had orange peel oil in it. The smell would just not go away. Then I used a Bissell home shampooer and Folex to try to get the oil out, and while it helped a little, it didn’t get all of it and left a funky residue on my cushions. Sigh. I was resigned to paying a lot of money and having someone come in and take care of it.
Well, Scott and Cameron from Drakes really saved me. After talking on the phone, Scott thought I could actually clean my sofa cushions myself, if I had the right solution. He said that I would need so little of the solution that it wasn’t worth buying it, and that he’d be happy to come by my place and drop off a little. SHOCK. Someone so helpful, knowing that they aren’t necessarily coming for an estimate.
He and Cameron showed up this morning, stopping by before they went to another bigger job. They took a look at my sofa cushions, said it would be very simple for me to do it myself. Just dilute the cleaning detergent in a lot of water, spray it on, brush it in, and vacuum it out. Once I was done with that, just lay down the nap of the fabric so that it is smooth and let it dry. SURPRISE. Someone giving me actual instructions about how to to do and fix my problem.
I am a loyal customer of Drakes Carpet Cleaning from now on. I have multiple sofas in the house, and carpet, and upholstered headboards, and anytime I need them cleaned, I am going to call Scott and Cameron. They are a local business, care about what they do, and are the kind of business that invests in their customers. I’m happy to invest in them!

We just received back our Turkish 8×10 wool, hand-​knotted rug, looking and smelling clean and new. Scott and his crew also expertly steam cleaned the entire level-​loop carpet upstairs, including our stairs. After almost 11 years of only vacuuming and the wear and tear of two kids plus our recently-​acquired pooch, the carpet was starting to look a little dingy here and there.
When Scott left, after cleaning it, it looked like new!
He was patient and explained the entire process to me (although I’m sure he has to explain this 3 – 4 times a day), held our hand throughout the process, and gave us expert service. I think what he charged was extremely fair, and our peace of mind (knowing that a trustworthy expert was handling our belongings) was priceless.
I cannot say enough good things about Drakes Carpet & Upholstery Services. They really are fabulous, and will make you want to get your carpets cleaned more often.

This place is great. I brought a 7 year old glider chair to them that had been given to me by a friend and they made it look like new… did I mention it was cream and used to nurse 2 babies???
Their pricing is fantastic and I’m going to bring them a rug to clean next.
You can also save some money and bring your item to them or if you have a number of things for them to clean in your home, they come to you.
