Brian came out same day to diagnose our wall-​mounted AC unit for our phone room. He was quick, courteous, extremely knowledgeable and professional and gave us a fair quote for future work. Would absolutely recommend this company for commercial/​residential AC needs.

My second review. As you can see below I needed Buddy King to come out again in warmer weather to check out the air conditioning. My wife’s Mother died May 30th and that was the last thing on our minds. We got a friendly call from Buddy King’s office in June saying they were in the area and would we be available for the service call they owed us. I thanked them for being staying on top of things. Thanks for the great service.

I called Buddy King after I had a consultation with another company in the area. After looking at my unit for 5 minutes they told me I needed an entire new unit for $ 2200. I didn’t feel like they had properly diagnosed it so I found Buddy King online and gave them a call.
I had Jaime and Cody come to the rescue. After 15 minutes of reconnecting what the last company had taken apart, they properly diagnosed it and got it running perfectly (and for a very small fraction of the last quote to fix it). Sounds like a bad wire was the entire problem.
In all, these guys are trustworthy and fair, and in an industry which is full of people just trying to get your money, these guys are few and far between. Worth their weight in gold!
One side note, during the repair my dog got out (no fault of theirs) and after the appointment when I was driving around looking, I saw Jaime and Cody looking as well! If that’s not service I don’t know what is!

I recently used Buddy King after the central air conditioning unit in my Westwood home stopped functioning correctly. I contacted the company after their normal «business» hours when I had gotten home from work and realized the house felt really warm. Within 2 hours a gentleman arrived to check out the situation. The man that came (I didn’t get his name) was extremely professional and nice.
He explained what had gone wrong and what needed to be fixed. He didn’t try to sell me on an entirely other unit, which had happened to me in the past. He didn’t try to push any expensive repairs on me. The gentleman was very honest with what had gone wrong with the HVAC central air system and didn’t try to sell me on anything I didn’t need. The gentleman returned the following day and fixed the issue without leaving me bankrupt. I cannot recommend the company enough. I was extremely happy with the service and would definitely use them again.

I called buddy last week when my AC broke down. It did take a while to get an appointment but when the guy showed, he really knew his stuff. The price wasn’t what I hoped for but the unit is working great.

Brian came out to do a routine service call at my residence and diagnosed the issue with my air compressor unit. He seemed knowledgable. I decided it wasn’t worth repairing an old unit and asked about recommendations for a new unit instead. He gave some options and suggested that this is work they have done before. I paid them the $ 80 service fee though they didn’t actually perform any fixes but we agreed that the $ 80 would go toward future work to replace the unit. That was the last I heard from them! I made many calls to the office and was assured they would call me back, but after 4 attempts, I gave up. After reading all these reviews, I would’ve expected much more. It would be nice if I got my $ 80 back, but since I can’t seem to get a call back, I shouldn’t expect that either!

Buddy King is by far the best! We have used him for small things here and there and he’s fixed everything quickly and affordably. Then we did a major remodel in our home and he did the new master bath — and a Master Bath he did create! Steam room, spa tub, in wall toilet — top of the line and the installation was perfect! We highly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Buddy King!

I’ve been using Brian, the owner of Buddy King Plumbing Heating and AC for the past 6 years for all of my plumbing and AC/​Heating issues. He has been there whenever I’ve needed him. His service has been impeccable. I’ve never had a problem that Brian and his amazing team couldn’t solve. He’ll come on very short notice and I’ve never felt that I was anything but exceptionally pleased. They are the best. Hisprices are fair and I’ve never been disappointed.

Very nice company.
Brian came out on a rainy Saturday to fix a broken hot water pump on the roof of a 3 story apartment bldg. he got it working so all the tenant would have hot water over the weekend, then came back during the week to make the final repair.

I’ve only had one interaction with them but they seem very honest and open. Costs were talked about up front and clear. You always have a worry that people in this business are incentivized to rip you off somehow. The buddy king representative did not give that impression at all. I called them to investigate why a particular room in my house was so cold. When they came over, they concluded that my heating system was fine and went over all the different solutions I could consider to further heat my room. In the end, he didn’t even charge me for his time. I even volunteered to pay something but he told me not to worry about it. I plan to use Buddy King if I have more heating issues.

We’re most importantly honest. While not the cheapest, they inspected my units and said they see nothing wrong that requires major repairs or replacement. Tunes my controller to work instead of milking me for money to replace it. Honesty in this business is #1 in my book.
