This place is way over priced. They wanted $ 300 to replace a power supply on my Samsung lcd tv. I found a mobile tv repairman that came to my house and replaced my power supply for $ 185. Too bad I wasted $ 30 to diagnose what I already knew. Do NOT go here unless you like overpaying.

This is a true mom and pop TV repair shop like the ones you used to see everywhere back in the old days. They have kept up with the march of technology, however, and are certified in all kinds of TV repair. I took in my beloved 50″ Panasonic plasma which kept sporadically shutting off and giving the blinking red light of death. He had to keep it for kind of a long time, which made me nervous (and go into withdrawals), but it turns out it wasn’t turning off for him for the first several days, and when it finally did, he couldn’t find anything wrong with the power supply (the usual culprit). However, it was apparently FULL of dust, which is not surprising because this TV hung on the wall through two major remodels in my house, and he had to keep it for another few days to make sure the cleaning had solved the problem. That was six months ago, and it hasn’t shut down once, so problem solved as far as I’m concerned. Highly recommend AVS!
