I was given a gift of the «one hour tranquility massage package» through Amazon for my birthday, and while I was super excited for a message, I was a little apprehensive after reading some of these reviews! My experience differed greatly from these.
I actually talked to the owner who explained that after the incidents described, she had to fire pretty much everybody from her studio. She is now the sole masseuse there, but let me tell you, she was awesome. I had a deep tissue massage, and she focused on all the problem areas that I specified. She has over 10 years experience and it shows!
The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that while it’s a cleanly atmosphere, it’s a little dark and cold-​looking in the actual massage room. It may not be the most aesthetically relaxing place, but it the massage is worth every penny.
If you choose to go here (which I would gladly recommend), make sure you go to the second floor, at the end of the hallway! That would’ve saved me a few minutes ;-)

Do not waste your money or time at this place –I had an extremely frustrating experience. I purchased a Living Social and made an appointment. The owner then called later that day me to say she had a conflict at that time and asked to reschedule for the following day. I said that was fine. I show up for the appointment and the door was locked. I waited outside in the hallway a few minutes (I was 10 minutes early) and then called. She answered and when I told her I was outside her office door and that it was locked, she was like «do you have an appointment?» She had forgotten about my appointment! She was at home and when I reminder her that SHE was the one who called me to reschedule the appointment she remembered and knew she screwed up. I was not interested in rescheduling and just wanted a refund because of how unprofessional this experience was. She said that she couldn’t do a refund though because she had already marked my Living Social as redeemed! I hadn’t ever had a service by this woman! As soon as I got home though I call Living Social, and they said she in fact had not marked my voucher as redeemed, so I was able to get credited. Needless to say I will never be back and I would not advise anyone to visit this establishment.

First, I’d like to make it clear that this rating is based entirely on personal preference. The office is located in a well-​lit, clean office building and is not hard to find. The suite itself is pretty relaxing and comfy, and the front desk and the therapists are both friendly.
However — the massage itself is the worst I’ve had in the past four years. Although I said I have neck and shoulder and lower back pain, the therapist spent a lot of time on my hands, legs and feet — much less attention to my problem areas than most massages I’ve gotten. And the therapist doesn’t seem to hit my tender points. He was sort of there but always seem to miss something. Can’t really describe that. Only the last 5 mins of the massage — when the therapist was working on my neck and shoulder when I’m in supine position — did I feel that it’s worth the price. But when the massage ends I really hoped I can have more time working on my problem areas.
When I leave the receptionist also asks me about tipping. This is just a personal preference but I’d prefer the «leave the tip in a jar» type.
I think it might be just not for me.

Great massage! I bought an hour hot stone massage through Amazon Local. They were able to get me in with one day’s notice. The studio was clean and comfortable, and the massage was very relaxing.
My only reason for a 4 star review instead of 5 is that I had listed on the new client form tension in neck and shoulders, and I left with the same tension, didn’t feel like extra time and attention was spent there. I didn’t feel like the hot stones were great for massaging this particular area because of their size, but I’m not sure if that is due to the type of massage or the technique.
I will book another appointment, but will try a massage without stones next time and see if that makes a difference in my neck and shoulders.

Amazing!!! I have been to at least a dozen salons around St. Louis using Groupon and this is the first place I booked another appointment! The place is comfortable, candles burning and calming music playing. The beds were bigger than some of the flimsy ones I’ve been on at other salons. My massage was every bit the full hour plus dress time. My therapist was Chataki and talk about deep tissue! Chataki did an amazing job!!! Don’t hesitate! Try this place out! It is worth it.
