Firestone Complete Auto Care

They were great, dropped my rim’s off for my SUV and there was an issue, they called me in less then 20 minutes and let me know, I was over there and they got me right in and fixed the issue even thou it wasn’t their fault. They are great will defiantly recommend them to others!

Would never use this Firestone center again. Had brakes replaced less than a year ago. Few weeks ago, they failed. Took it in for repair and after was «fixed.» Brakes lights stopped working. Told me that the brake switch had been «put in upside down» by someone else. Amazingly enough, I’d had no problems with brake lights until they «fixed it.» They supposedly put the brake switch in right side up. Had brake lights for one day. They’re still claiming it was nothing they did — just an amazing coincidence the brake lights stopped working after their «repairs.» Overpriced and unwilling to take any responsibility for their work.

THIEVES! Or stupid– I don’t know which is worse. I went in for a state inspection. My check engine light was on. I failed the state inspection, but they charged me $ 90 for engine diagnostics, which entailed hooking up a ODB2 Scanner and Googling what the likely cause was for the error code. I argued the charge and they relented. I went to Advance and got the reading done for free!
By the way, Firestone told me my EGR valve needed to be replaced. I cleaned the filter and reset the power cable and it operated fine. The check engine light went off and I passed inspection.
What level of mechanics do you expect to be working at chain retail tire store? They’re OK for routine work like a oil change or tire rotation but I wouldn’t do anything else here. Anita gave them a positive review on ⁴⁄₂₀₁₁ because they tried and tried to fix her car but never got it right. My point exactly– if you want knowledge and experience, go somewhere else.
By the way, they came up with a list of over $ 2000 worth of suggested repairs. Now who do they think is stupid? They’ll dig deeply into your pocket if you let them, but at least they offer easy financing!

These guys have definitely earned my respect.
It was last year i believe when my Toyota pickup engine would rev up and down, up and down. The guys at Firestone replaced a part that they thought would fix the problem. Nope. Then they tried again, replacing a different part. Nope. I took the truck in three different times and wound up paying about $ 250 after all was said and done and the truck still had its original issue.
Firestone apologized for not being able to fix it and gave me every penny of my money back. Not only that, but they left me with three brand new parts in my truck that they did not charge me for.
I dont know about you but that is what i consider excellent customer service! I wrote a letter to the main office commending their efforts and their honesty, and i really hope they were given kudos for this. I think they deserve my recommendation. I will continue to use Jamco for any issues with my transmission and/​or engine as that is where their expertise lie, but for tires and other non specific (to Toyota) repairs, I will take my vehicles to the Firestone center on Watson in Crestwood.
