Okay, I am really disappointed in these guys.
My Toyota pickup was popping out of gear. Steve quoted me $ 1000 for parts and labor and that was just to TRY TO SEE what might be wrong. He was just guessing but what he knew FOR SURE was that he’d have to remove my entire engine to get to it rather than try to at least take a look from inside the truck. $ 1000!!! What???
Well i called Jamco on Southwest in the city. Don knew right away what the problem was. I had it in and out of the shop within about 3 hours and my total bill with parts and labor was under $ 88. I kid you not! You’d think a transmission specialist (Aamco) would know better. Very disappointing…

I just had a very bad experience here. I brought my car in to be fixed and, although they charged me $ 57.00, they did not fix the problem. Brought the car back, and, again, they did not fix the problem.
Took my car to another auto shop and it was fixed immediately.
If you are female and a senior citizen, RUN from this place. They take advantage of people. Dishonest shop and Mike, the manager, refused to give me the owners name and # or my money back. I have reported them to the BBB where I am one of many with the same problem.
