Benson Sotheby’s International Realty specializes in the sale and purchases of high end luxury properites in and around the Crested Butte Area. We also use that same knowledge and experience for our lesser expensive properties that we list and sell throughout the valley.

History

Established in 2008.

Cathy Benson, the owner of Benson Sotheby’s International Realty has been a realtor in the Crested Butte area for over 30 years. She has owned real estate agencies under various names including the last before Benson Sotheby’s International Realty, which was Benson-​Rous Century 21. Cathy Benson decided to change over to the Sotheby’s International Realty brand to give her and her agents a more distinguished presence in the Crested Butte area.

Crested Butte is home, where my heart and soul reside. The mountains create an incredible serenity for me. I came here to ski for Western State College and the rest is history. The long time residents share a commonality, keeping our area on its traditional roots of ranching, open space and a strong business community for a healthy economy.

Sharing this with individuals that want to be part of our community is exciting and fun. It’s rewarding for me especially to do because it’s how I have developed incredible friendships and business relationships.
