History

Established in 2011.

Jaime Gamache and Steve Zarriello, trainers with a collective 25 years of training experience opened The Way HPI. The name comes from the Chinese Philosophy of Tao, or The Middle Path. The word Tao literally translates to «the way». Taoists believes that the universe exists in a natural balance of all things. We have adapted the same philosophy to our style of training, ie: No push without pull, no acceleration without deceleration, no speed without control, etc. Our program emphasizes injury prevention as well as performance enhancement. Most people, when they work out, do what they like or what they’re good at. This style of training often leads to imbalances in strength or flexibility. Imbalances first lead to pain, then to injury. We attempt to expose and correct weaknesses in the kinetic chain before they become an issue. We have worked with athletes and individuals of all levels and abilities, including professional and Olympic athletes.
