Sunshine Auto Detailing and Cleaning

I brought my car here at the suggestion of a coworker, she told me that Ray takes great pride in his work. That was evident when I picked my car up, it was as good as new (I should note that the car was in atrocious condition considering that I never washed it after seven years of owning it and have a bulldog in the backseat regularly). The pricing is very reasonable compared to other places, just make sure you bring cash for a tip. Unfortunately I didn’t know this and wasn’t able to add one to the credit card slip.

I had just gotten a new used car from a pretty terrible dealership who delivered it in awful condition. There were stains all over the seats, front back, and headrest. The ceiling had weird marks, stains, and FOOD, visors covered in greasy fingerprints, cup holders caked in coffee, soda, and crumbs, and a filthy carpet. The car couldn’t have looked worse if someone was trying to ruin it.
I really didn’t think it could get fully clean, but searched around for a while and decided to take it to Sunshine because of their good reviews. In short, they did an amazing job. I was so happy to pick it up and find my car looking like new. I’ve always detailed my cars myself, but after this experience, I really don’t think I would have come close to what they pulled off. On top of that, there was a little customer service snag, which the owner contacted me about personally and took care of, which is refreshing to see.
Definitely check them out, they do great work.

I called this place on Monday and made an appointment for Thursday morning. The guy told me they are there at 7am. I figured it be safe to give them an hour to set up and made the appointment for 8am. This appointment was only four days away. I showed up and the door was locked. I called and could hear the answering machine. I then looked into the garage window only to notice everything was dark and no one was around. I had planned to drop off my vehicle so I had a friend picking me up. This place not only wasted my time and money driving there but also my friends. Unacceptable and unprofessional … STAY AWAY!
I did receive a call 20 minutes later saying they had stepped out of the shop to take the first person to work. Hello — you have an appointment … make arrangements just like I did! That place was completely shut down and looked like no one had been there. All they had to do was make a courtesy call letting me know they had to run out and would be right back. How about a note on the door with an explanation? No, you can not pick up my vehicle b/​c I don’t just let some stranger drive it. Again, this is completely unacceptable and unprofessional! Plus, they clearly know how to make phone calls so again — stay away!

My birthday was coming up and I told my hubby that I wanted my car detailed. After the long winter driving my kids and dogs around my car was a wreck. He called around and made an appointment at Sunshine. We had to wait awhile — 4 weeks — but it was worth it. We brought the car in at 9am and was told it would take 6 hours. It took closer to 8. I didn’t mind the wait but he explained that the reason for the delay was all the dog hair. When I clean the car I don’t even try to get every last dog hair — that’s impossible right?
No. There wasn’t one dog hair left in the car when we picked it up. I was absolutely amazed! They cleaned every crevice of my car. They took care of the gum on the door of the backseat that my son had so kindly left there. The car looks better than the day we bought it (pre-​owned). The leather seats squeak they’re so clean! They even let us know that they saw something underneath the car that suggested we have the brakes checked. The service was worth every cent that we paid and I won’t hesitate to bring the car back to Sunshine.

Wow! Ray and the crew did an amazing interior and exterior detail job on my black Range Rover today. After a long winter it was very much in need of a buff and wax, which they did (twice!) and the price was exactly what I expected. No surprises. Quality work. Clearly they take pride in what they do. I will be making an appointment for my other car ASAP. It is not often that my expectations are exceeded. Thank you and keep up the great work!

My car was shipped on an open air car transporter. When it arrived, it was covered in mud. Interior had mud also. It had never been that filthy since I have owned it. Called Sunshine auto and spoke to Ray. Very knowledgeable and professional. The work included buffing, waxing, under hood cleaning and interior cleaning. My car was restored back to the car show quality and shine. Thank you Ray for the awesome work ! I highly recommend!

Just got home from having my car detailed at Sunshine Auto. I bought a Groupon for an interior cleaning and deluxe wash package for an SUV (I own an ’09 black RAV4). Being in the northwest, my car’s interior gets pretty grimy from repeated wintry exposures to the muddy snow, leaves, and salt/​gravel. I’ve never actually paid for this type of service, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.
Anyway, I scheduled an appointment (required) and was told the job would take about 3 hours. They only take one car at a time.
I pulled up to the tiny, unassuming building/​garage. The owner greeted me right away, looked my car over inside and out briefly, and started on the car almost as soon as I pulled in; no fluff, all business. I waited in his office, and I could tell he works hard and pays attention to the car on hand 100% of the time.
After just under 3 hours, he politely informed me that my car was ready. The interior looked like it did when it was brand new– every inch had been wiped and polished, and even my steering wheel FELT and smelled fresh and clean as I started driving. The panels on my radio were squeaky clean. I believe he even did the seatbelts– they were each buckled neatly across. My sideview mirrors were sparkling– I try to make sure they’re clean, but man, I had no idea what a difference there would be. Truly lots of attention to detail.
The exterior is so polished (the black has never looked better) that I’m nervous to drive anywhere that would make it even a tiny bit dirty again (and I will have it in for any bird that dares to do its business on my car while it’s looking so perfect)!
The staff are men of few words but are so professional and efficient. I would come here again to get my car taken care of. This place is no frills, all service. Am glad Groupon brought them to my attention. I believe they offer a range of different services and packages depending on what level of cleaning you want (i.e just interior, just vacuum, just exterior, full detail, etc).
