It’s really good home cooked food at very reasonable prices. They give you a good quantity and the staff is very polite. I have been here 4 times and it’s nice little place not to far from home. It’s definitely a hidden gem in nothern kentucky.

Pretty decent place for a family brunch. Great bloody Mary’s and friendly service. We went for Easter brunch and I had the ribs. They were tender and good flavored. Having two kids in tow I was relieved they were very kid friendly and has a variety to pick from. Not over priced either.

This is a great little, off the beaten track kind of restaurant. I’ve been coming here for years(even though this is my first Unilocal review for here.) The setting is one of a kind and the food is terrific(which we’ll talk about in a bit) My point off is that the service can be very shaky at times. They were good this past time but I’ve had more misses than hits in this department. Now then… Cabin Special Breakfast What Is It: It’s the specialty breakfast of the Log Cabin. It’s a sampler of sorts coming with eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, biscuits and gravy. I got goetta on the side as well. Presentation: Very simple presentation that lets the food do the talking. 6.5 out of 10 Taste: This is traditional country cooking on display here. The biscuits and gravy are my favourite part of this. The biscuits are delicious and their gravy is spot on. It’s a white gravy that is just perfect for this. I do wish they’d give you another biscuit or two as I always have extra gravy. The sausage is very flavourful, the bacon was cooked properly and the eggs were fine. This was a very good representation of goetta too. If you want a simple country breakfast this is for you. 9 out of 10

I kind of love this place. It’s dark and dated. Nothing fancy. But it doesn’t need to be. Get a burger, preferably the log cabin burger. Think«big boy» only better. Cincinnati omelette is an omelette with geotta and onions and cheese. Yum! Seriously don’t expect gourmet, just love the wholesome fried goodness it provides.

It was ok. We had a good time, if only because of the friends we had with us. It was around 10AM on Sunday, so they were fairly busy with the chuchgoer-gone-out-for-breakfast crowd(which was us, too). We had the choice of breakfast or lunch, which was nice of them. The food was okay. The menu has a lot of things that I really like to get — when I’m at a place where I’m confident anything on the menu will be done exceptionally well. I just don’t have the confidence to try fried oysters, even though I’d love to give it a shot.

I have tried this place several time since it’s so close to my house. I want to love it but I can’t. The food is just ok, and in my opinion overpriced for the quality of it. On the positive side, the staff is very friendly. A lot of times when I drive by the place is packed. I guess that means they must be doing something right.

We visited one time. The food was below average and the place was a smoke shack. It was also very dark and the tables and chairs were grimy. I won’t return.

I know this restaurant is in a tough market for a restaurant location but I like the food and atmosphere and I will always be a regular. A very nice family bought the place about ten years ago and they added a lot of physical improvements as well as additions to the menu. I love their Cabin Burger and Grilled Chicken Wrap. Their coleslaw and home-fries-potato-slices with sautéd-onions are especially good.

Love this place for breakfast! Very quaint, mostly quiet, «greasy spoon» type atmosphere. Food is good and service is typically good as well. Not the fastest place, but gives you time to enjoy a cup of coffee or two before eating, which I quite enjoy!

We actually ate here for thanksgiving. You know all the women of the family were tired of cooking. It was 12.99 a piece there was 6 of us. For what was suppose to be a buffet. The food was cold because they didn’t have the burners on. So many people had to have their food warmed up by microwave. I’m still shocked about the place this was the kind of food you ate in school when it was close to thanksgiving. I’m not saying like, it was. The amount of stuff was limited they didn’t even have baked beans. Rolls but no butter. The cranberry was straight out of a can It was still can shaped they didn’t even bother forming it up. How lazy. I’m not sure what compelled the family to this place but it has to be one of the worst places I have ever eatten at a Chinese buffet would have been a better choice. I’m not sure how this place is normally but it was horrible and total thanksgiving disaster.
