Had the cheese burger plate. It tasted sad: (should have gone to McDonalds came in to eat a home cooked meal but insted got a microwave meal. Never coming hear again. Going to Denny’s next time

Was really craving breakfast today, one thing to know about this location is that it’s always packed today we managed to be seated quickly. Our server took our order quickly and we got our food quickly, where the service went bad was they bring our food, the bacon was soggy not completely cooked the waffles were completely bland no flavor at all, it seems likes ihop is a fast food diner now, honestly you can get better food and quality food at dennys for half the price.

It’s been a really long time since I set foot in an IHOP. My husband and I had the day off from work and took my car to the West Covina Nissan for an oil change.
We decided to grab some breakfast and walked to the IHOP. Note that if you check in on Unilocal,they have a deal for «$ 5 off your bill of $ 20 or more».
The seating area is actually not that big and would be hard to fit a large group inside. It’s mostly booth seating. I ordered an orange juice to start.
My husband was feeling like some soup, but unfortunately our server told us that the soup was not ready yet. I ordered the 2×2×2 combo with two pancakes, two eggs over medium and one sausage and one piece of bacon. My husband ended up ordering a chicken salad.
Once our food came out, there wasn’t any dressing on his salad. Our server went back to get some Ranch dressing for him, but it wasn’t the dressing that he wanted. Overall, the meal was just okay and the service was mediocre (could have been better). We came here because it was open and walking distance.
The bill came out to approximately $ 27.00 before the discounted $ 5 off from the Unilocal check in.

Me and my family stopped by on Christmas Eve to celebrate my daughter’s 7^th birthday. This is her favorite breakfast spot. I personally prefer a small diner but it was her day so she decided. To my surprise this location had the small diner feel. It was pretty busy but they managed to seat our party of 6 quickly.

Updating my review to a 3 star. Although my experience was horrible the action taken by ihop corporate and the franchise owner were satisfactory. They both appreciated my feedback, confirmed that I was correct and will give feedback to resturant so customers like myself can continue having a smooth dining experience. Says a lot when a company values your feedback enough to investigate and respond. Great management!

Today I brought my son in (9 years old) to order breakfast off the kids menu with a kids drink. The person that took the to go order tried to charge an additional for a drink when it says on the kids menu that the kids meals come with a drink. She said it’s their individual policy that when you order kids meals to go you don’t get the free drink. I told her «you can see my son is standing here, it’s for him im not sure why the drink wouldn’t still be included when it doesn’t say that on the menu». Her response was that it’s franchise so they have their own rules. I asked her to show me a sign or something where it says that and she couldn’t. Eventually after being embarrassed because other people were in there looking she gave us a drink for free but says she is breaking the rules. I don’t need favors or free things, I told her I come in all the time and bring my son and never have issues. If they want to create individual policies I feel like it should be posted or printed somewhere in the restaurant. Furthermore she failed to give me a recipet (im assuming she didn’t want me to do the survey) but I feel so strong about the situation because I am a repeat guest that I’m still taking the time to address my concerns.
Ultimately they would rather I sit and dine in, waste a servers time order the food and drink for free, then ask for a to go cup and tray for my food. Next time I may have to do this because of such a crazy policy.

The structure of the place is disorganized from hostess stand to dining area. The kitchen is located middle of the dinning room and front of the hostess stand. There are two waiting area which are inside and outside. The place is narrow and small, very limited space to comfortably move about. There are several occasion that I had to wait for the patrons and waitress to pass before I could stand up and go to the restroom. The prep stations are not sanitized especially the area of the cooked food. There are food particles all over the prep stations. The cook food that are waiting to be picked up by the waitress is exposed to the patrons that are passing by. Imagine the germs there are spreading onto the food, especially if they have a flu. The owner needs to revamp the whole restaurant to have a better flow and for the kitchen and prep area to be away from the public. Also, to avoid in having the patrons bumping into each other and waitress. The food is alright, nothing spectacular. The waitress are very pleasant and professional.

The food is here is always good. They picked a good cook because my pancakes are always as good as I want them to be. You won’t leave here disappointed. I like the location. But I don’t like how this place is so small. It’s always packed. Not a good place to go if I want go have a breakfast with my family which includes 7 people. This place is tiny.

This was a great pancake experience. The combination of sweetness with pork left my mouth watering. I with a doubt would frequent this establishment for its service and amazing edible creations. Kudos.

My favorite IHOP in town!
Everyone is always so happy and helpful. Tonight my waitress was Jordyn. She was always very attentive and always with a smile :) The place was clean and at a good temperature. The food is good as well, the cooks are very fast! Keep up the good work!!!

I have been to this IHOP tons of times before with absolutely nothing but positive feedback. …today on the other hand was a different story. My family and I went there earlier this evening for a charity event «No kid hungry». There was a woman there… possibly management, who was completely nasty and rude… hispanic, glasses and a pony tail… has no business being in customer service. I felt bad for the servers who’s tips I’m sure suffered due to this nasty lady… we made sure to tip our server very well. I’ve been in management for over 30 years and was completely disgusted by her behavior. San Dimas IHOP here we come!

Our waiter Jose was very fast, friendly, and had the cutest accent! Plus our good was delicious! Great place to take your mother out for breakfast! :)
*edit* waiter took my food before I was done! WHY JOSE?! WHY?! The cashier offered to give me a new one because my mom told her what happened. I said it was okay because I was really full, but a nice offer!

I have to change my review to 5 stars. Our waitress Melissa was great. Service was great. Food was perfect. As I stated in my previous review, I think the last time I came to Ihop was an «OFF» day, because today was 100% spot on! Thank you Ihop

HORRIBLE HOSTESS SERVICE!
Because of this we will NEVER go back. The place is SMALL & CRAMPED. Therefore, they don’t tell you they cannot or will not accommodate a large party. And by large part I mean a family of 8. We went in for late breakfast on a weekday & they asked us if we would mind splitting up or party. Two booths back to back or across from each other. Seriously? Who goes in to a restaurant with kids and puts them in a separate booth?! So we say no, we’ll wait for the large table in the back. Another LARGE party comes in & they sit them back there! ! They never told us to keep waiting or even acknowledged us after that. After several other parties were seated my mom went to all his much longer & the hostess said she took our name off the list because we didn’t want 2 booths. & sure enough, she scratched or name out! We sat waiting our time & she said oh well! We asked to talk to a manager & as SHE (manager) came up, she said, «I don’t hedge time for this right now» &walked away!
NEVER AGAIN!

I always come for my birthday and luckily, Sheri is my server. She’s so great and on top of everything. Always friendly and gets everything correct.

What can I say… this place is always on point with our breakfast! We come here so often that they pretty much recognize us and our order. I probably should be embarrassed to share that lol but i’m not! lovely people work here have never had an issue with customer service and they always give us our orders just the way we asked for them! Since we are trying to be good, we usually substitute the eggs for egg whites and the hash browns for red skin potatoes along with their special secret house salsa made by one of their preps.
Shhh only the cool kids know about that salsa!!! haha Love this place!

The food is excellent, the restaurant is usually dirty and the service stinks. The people that work there have a snobby attitude and do not seem to believe in customer service!
There is one male server in the mornings that is excellent. The night crew is horrible. We eat there at least 2 times a month because the food is great. We will find another great ihop.

We came in at least 15 minutes before closing AND THEY REFUSED US FREE PANCAKES ON FREE PANCAKE DAY.
There was a tearing of garments and a gnashing of teeth. Children were crying. Plants died. Birds fell out of the sky. I, full of agony, began to sweat profusely. I picked myself up off the ground and tried to crawl out of the establishment. But my heart was almost too heavy. I contemplated many things while on the ground, and it wasn’t until three men, using all their strength to hoist me to my feet, that I regained my composure and what little sanity I had left. As I departed from this horrid establishment, I shook the dust off my sandals and swore I would never return again.
Bottom line: Don’t come here unless you want to weep and have your free pancake day ruined.

I’ve been coming to this IHOP since forever now. And this IHOP is a small little place but that shouldn’t stop you from eating there
Service is always good and good is always good as well.
My family and I always eat here whenever we feel like eating something for breakfast… during dinner time.
