Some good some bad… Had the gyro plate with French fries. A lot of meat on gyro but the meat wasn’t sliced very thin as it had chunks of meat. Sauce was drenched on. Salad had wilted lettuce. French fries were just average. I don’t see myself going back it’s a one and done. Went in at 630 pm and not a single person in the place other than employees.

I love the burger and fries. They use avocado sauce, which is the perfect dipping sauce for fries! I always call ahead and pick up. Just a warning, they use a lot of mayo.

The food is blah!!! The service is even more blah! The lady at the drive thru window is a mean harpy from the deep depths of hades… She is never friendly and rushes you out shutting the window and never looking back even if you order is messed up. I will never eat there. Instead I will pay a couple more dollars for better service at Covina burger!!!

Definitely not recommended! Discovered a bug in my sandwich and they chose to handle it by claiming it was a sesame. Really! Apparently I’m incapable of distinguishing a sesame seed from the bugs known to be found in unsatisfactorily washed lettuce. So be it. They chose to handle it in that manner, rather than to replace it or offer me a refund, then I will handle it in a manner to serve the greater good. You roll your own dice. Incidentally, the turkey/bacon club seriously lacks adequate turkey.

Poor customer service. I felt like I was forcing her to take my order. I used to always come here. Last time I ever come in. the food was rushed and greasy. 0 stars if I could. Thank you to the staff for making my decision so much easier from now on DJ drive is a bad choice

I love this place I come her all the time. My favorite food to order here would have to be the steak sandwich. Also there Chile cheese fires are good. But recently I asked the lady what was in their carne asada burrito and she didn’t tell me there was onions in it and i opened it and half of the burrito was onions and onions make me sick so I couldn’t even eat it I had to throw it away.

Food is great here. Best breakfast burrito in town. Better than grand burger farmer boys and Covina burger across the street. Their burgers taste like your classic sgv burger joint but are damn tasty. Prefer Dj’s over any other family owned Fast food joint. Greek food here is good from what I hear but have never had any myself. 5 star for sure

I ordered the gyro combo. It came with fries and a drink and it was over nine bucks. If the gyro was delicious and fresh, I’d say it was worth it. However, it was the most craptastic gyro I have ever eaten. Everything was mushy. The meat was mushy instead of being crispy. It also had no flavor. I felt like I was eating shaved dog food slices. The tomatoes were also mushy. The pita wasn’t toasted. Guess what, it was also super mushy. There were chunks of raw onion and they were just gross. The sauce was also bland. The fries were okay. They’re weren’t horrible, but they weren’t that great either. I have absolutely no desire to return to this place. Do not go here. You will regret it.

FALSEADVERTISING!!! I love Greek food so when I saw this place I was excited to have found a Greek eatery close by. I ordered two Gyros to go and was extremely disappointed with what I got. Starting from the service, the lady who took my order was nothing short of rude. Then when I placed my order I noticed that my total seemed a bit high but paid anyway because I thought maybe I was doing wrong math. After the lady took my money I sat down waiting on my order. I did the math and noticed I was being overcharged over two dollars. I took the menu to the lady and told her that I was being overcharged because the menu said $ 4.79 for a Gyro. She told me that the price was $ 5.79 and that the menu showed the old price… Seriously??? She didn’t give me the difference even though they were in the wrong and argued that the real price is up on their menu board. Terrible service. I took the food anyway to give the place a chance just to come find out that it was the most disgusting«gyro» I’ve ever had. It was dripping ridiculously with dressing and the meat was disgusting. Don’t know how they can even call that a gyro or even Greek food for that matter. My girl ended just throwing hers away and I just ate half. Never ever going back to this place. Maybe their Mexican food may be better but I don’t know why they would sell Mexican, American, and Greek together. Three very distinct types of food… Maybe they should stick to one and learn how to make that one food right. TIP: Don’t eat there.

Three stars for the really good gyro, lots of options, and portion size… lost two stars for slow service and forgot one of our fries, so we waited a long time for not even a complete meal lol. Not sure if i would go back here again, place looks super sketchy like you could get mugged any moment, i would stick to the drive thru and get out of there quickly…

Good place. Go-to joint for breakfast burritos when I was working in the area for 7 years – best deal and always good. Hamburgers, fries, zucchini, and onion rings are all good. For breakfast or lunch I would just call in and pick up 10 – 30 minutes later. Nice ladies work there too. The other girl on these reviews who called one of the ladies rude is just being judgmental.(You know how some girls can be. They’ll call anyone rude and they’re often the worst offender.) I see cops and firemen frequent the place too. And they know. I’ve never tried their Greek stuff but the Mexican and American food is great.

Just went here. I have been here about 20 times in my life, but I’m pretty sure they’re under new owners… Anyways, I got French toast place, bf got pastrami fries. We did the drive through? It look a little long, but after all, they are actually cooking my eggs! Very pleased with the way both plates tasted(had to taste fries lol) and I think if ur in the mood for crappy food(I mean like bad for u crappy) this is the kind of place to go to. Way way better then a mc Donald’s… Not giving 5 stars because of not so friendly drive through worker. Will still be going back

I love this place. The service is quick and friendly. The food is well-portioned and delicious. I appreciate that I can call about ten minutes ahead and my food is ready to pick up. My regular is the chicken caesar salad, but they also have great burgers. One of these days I’ll get around to trying their breakfast!

Our household is divided over this establishment. I have tried the double cheese burger with fries and chili fries with pastrami. It was mediocre at best for my personal taste. The burger seemed rather on the dry side and made the cheese a little unpleasant and chewy. The veggis in the burger did not seem the freshest as I noted some browned lettuce than needed to be picked out. Hubby, raves and raves about their Gyro’s. He is a huge fan of the lamb. I had a bite of it and I have to say it was great. You only get one with an order of rice so if you are a hungry guy get two, like my hubby does. Ask for extra cucumber sauce and you are set. My son enjoys the chili fries here and loves the cheese burgers. The chili fries are good, however the fries are somewhat overcooked and can be dry. Pastrami is ok but pretty generic and has a lot of fat on it. Personally I am a P&G fan myself so we mostly come here when hubby has to have a Gyro.

Our family loves DJs – its one of the only places all 5 of us agree on. Homemade ranch(!!), decent burgers, delicious fried zucchini and yummy Greek items like gyro, souvlaki and greek salad with pita bread. Drive-in is so convenient and service is always quick and friendly. Also, they have NEVER gotten an order wrong or forgotten to put something in the bag. That’s saying a lot, and it shows they care, unlike many places.

After picking up one of our cars from our mechanic nearby, I busted out my trusty Unilocal app and searched for a well-reviewed place to grab a bite to eat. Fellow Unilocalers, you let me down. :( We both ordered from the Greek section of DJ’s menu. I had the soulvaki pita with rice and salad while my fiancé had a gyro pita with rice and salad. Each were $ 7.99. After getting our order, I was disappointed at the portion(relative to the price and from other Unilocal reviews) and quality of the food. Greek Food 101 vs. DJ’s: Salad: Normally consists of greens, feta cheese, kalamata olives, sliced roma tomatoes, cucumbers and crisp red onions with a Greek vinaigrette. DJ’s had iceberg lettuce, a slice of tomato and cucumber each, two olives with ranch dressing. Pita: Traditionally, it’s pita bread stuffed with meat plus lettuce, tomato, onions, and Tzatziki sauce, a cucumber-yogurt-garlic sauce that in my opinion is what makes pita sandwiches great. TDJ’s had tons of tomato slices, some watered down sauce, chopped white onions, and mediocre portion of meat. The gyro meat was okay but the soulvaki(beef) was nothing prepared slowly on a spit fire. Rather, it was just the same cut of beef used for the carne asada burritos. Lame. Rice pilaf: It normally is flavored with savory herbs and spices. DJ’s rice was bland and I almost mistook it for brown calrose rice. I’m sorry, fellow Unilocalers who consider DJ’s to have the best gyros. This is probably one of the mose mediocre attempts I’ve ever had. I probably should’ve known when looking at the rest of their extensive menu of American, Mexican, and Asian items. The salad was from the American items, meat from Mexican, and rice from Asian. Go figure.
