My husband and I recently moved into a 1922 home that has a 4ft wide front door. Due to how neglected the house was and how beaten up the door was, we were considering replacing it until we met Tony. Tony knows his stuff and right away discouraged us from replacing the door and offered to strip it for a reasonable price. Come to find out it is the original oak door and although it was pretty beat up, Tony was able to bring it back to life. He stained the door and where there was damage he was able to work the look of wood grain back into those spots… he really out did himself on our door and it is BEAUTIFUL! He takes pride in his work and knows what he is doing. Thanks to Tony I now have the most beautiful door on the block!

Words cannot describe my wonderful experience with Tony. My wife and I were scrambling last minute on the day before Thanksgiving to find someone who was trustworthy but reasonably priced to help us with our difficult situation before we moved in to our new home. Essentially, I hired a shady contractor who started the acoustic removal on my ceiling but didn’t come back to finish the job he had promised to be able to complete on time for us to move in this coming weekend. That is how I stumbled upon Tony here on Unilocal.When I spoke with Tony by phone regarding our situation, he was empathetic, patient, personable, and truthful about how he had many jobs lined up and wished he was able to help me. In the end, he agreed to come out to take a look at my place, on THANKSGIVING DAY nonetheless.
When he showed up, he displayed professionalism, expertise, and honesty regarding our situation. He pointed out details and showed us step by step how he would go about rectifying the issues left by the lousy contractor we had hired. He understood our situation and let us know he would try his best to work with us on a reasonable price. He let me know he can start the job in about 1 week. After he left, he provided me with a quote via email within 3 hours. And the price was very reasonable.
In the end, however, due to my wife and my preference to have the job completed as soon as possible, we ended up going with a contractor a friend recommended who was able to start the job earlier. But I can assure you, if I had a project I wanted done to perfection and time was not an issue, I would definitely request for Tony to help out. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends either.

Anthony Decorators did an amazing job painting and removing popcorn ceiling in my mother’s bedroom. They arrived on time and completed the job very quickly, with incredible results. They were also kind enough to do «extra» things for her that she was unable to do herself. Anthony Decorators will be highly recommended by our family.

Although it took over a week to stain my new front door (Anthony was having a knee issue), I am most pleased with the results. I doubt other painters would have taken the time to ensure that the job was up to my standards (which are definitely on the picky side). Anthony helped me select a golden oak stain for the exterior and a dark walnut for the interior. I was a bit nervous going for two different colors, but he reassured me that each would be the most suitable compliment for the space they occupy. He was right — each color is a perfect. One would not easily guess that the door on my 106 year old home is new — it fits right in to the age and style of the home.

Tony is an old-​school craftsman in the very best sense. He listened to what we wanted to achieve, offered several suggestions and came back with a very reasonable quote. He refinished our bathroom cabinets wonderfully. Really beyond our expectations for our 24 year old cabinets. We then asked him to refinish our sun bleached front door. Thereafter our HOA hired him to redo all the front doors in the complex. His professionalism impressed all homeowners. He will be our first call for all future work and should be yours.

Gave him a difficult job and it was done beautifully. My mahogany front doors were very badly sun burnt. He educated us on the problem and then meticulously refinished them and they look brand new. My picky husband was even impressed. I was so pleased with his work I asked him to touch up my kitchen cabinets and they too have new life and look like they are new. I got some hardware and he hung them too. I am going to give him my antique cedar chest next and I would not give that to just anyone! He knows the history of that family heirloom and promised me a fabulous job. Based upon his work so far I know he will deliver. Also he is a fun guy to talk with and very reasonably priced for the job you get in return. Do not hesitate to call him.
