There aren’t many really choices for food at Mall of the Bluffs. Sometimes you want something different. The reviews looked interesting here so I tried it out. I got the lamb boat with jasmine rice, lamb, veggies, special sauce and cheese. The flavor was good, I liked the sauce but there was something in the lamb – something sweet that I didn’t care for – maybe raisins? I would have asked but I took it to go. Services was super nice. I haven’t been back but I’ve been tempted. Give it a try!

I have kind of a bias opinion about this place, mainly because I am on a no dairy-diet because of my daughter. I got the lamb boat with jasmine rice, lamb, and veggies. I would have added ranch, cheese, and sour cream, but didn’t have that choice. The meat was okay, but I could’t tell it apart from beef, though I LOVE lamb. According to my husband, there wasn’t much flavor to everything. I am a plain Jane, so I thought it was fine, though the rice could have been a little more potent. When I get off my dairy-free kick, I wouldn’t mind trying their breakfast or a wrap. The staff was super nice, which makes any dining experience worht while.

My wife and I have wanted to try this place for a while since they moved into the dying Mall of the Bluffs. As foodies, we really wanted to like this place, but sadly, everything was mediocre at best. We were super excited to see lamb but that excitement was short lived. I ordered the lamb wrap, which is basically a lamb burrito, and it had lettuce, sour cream, cheese, jalapeño juice, rice, their special blend of sauteed veggies, and some of their tomato aiola. It was pretty good sized. You can pick your ‘heat’ level, which was nice, I chose a 6 out of 10. The lamb was tough and really bland. It didn’t even taste like lamb really. The rest of the ingredients were a nice compliment though. I got the fries and they were just okay, nothing super special about them. My wife got the lamb rice bowl and she thought the lamb itself wasn’t that good as well. The customer service was nice and personable. The cashier lady was super nice and very knowledgeable of the menu. Overall, I wasn’t impressed and the food was disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be going back any time soon.

I have enjoyed this place on the last two visits to town. What a treat! It is great food. Burgers, wraps, kebabs, and a kind of rice boat. The flavors are awesome and do not disappoint!

The rice boat was so good and the chef Chris was not only good at what he does but he was very social and polite. I’ve ate here twice in a row because of the service and plan on coming back more!

Last year, b-skew’d shut down their Food Truck and now earlier this month they have opened a Brick & Mortor location in the Food Court of the Mall of the Bluffs. Everything is made right in front of you so you know it is fresh and made to order. I had the Lamb Boat and I sunk it in about 20 minutes. It is a traditional Rice Bowl with Lamb meat and sautéed veggies(love those onions) with your choice of sauces, I had the Tomato Aiola at an 8 fire rating. Maybe this is just my comfort food, but I love this Rice & Meat dish, and now it appears they have experimented with a variety of sauces. Chris the owner, has an easy smile, as he is now teaching Lauren his skills so maybe he can get his Food Truck back up and running this summer. This Food Court is a nIce and quiet place to rest and chill in the Mall, even though the mall is pretty vacant in areas, you can count on b-skew’d to make the trip here worthwhile.
