Powell’s Custom Tile has been serving Northern Az for over 38 years with custom design work with Tile, Stone, Porcelain, Glass tile, and wood flooring. We have custom built all types of showers, tub decks, countertops, backsplashes and floor designs. References available with onsight inspections of actual projects in the Sedona-​Verde Valley area. We are licensed and bonded for residential and commercial installations. All work is performed by owner and crew.

History

Established in 1979.

I (Rod Powell) have been in the floorcovering business since 1976. I was trained as a floorcovering installer right out of High School. In 1979 my partner and I opened a Store in Winslow Az (The Carpet Works). In 1998 My wife Lisa and our two girls decided to sell out our half of the business and move closer to both of our parents in th Verde Valley area. So in 2000 we started Powell’s Custom Tile & Interiors a smaller but very custom and customer oriented sales and installation business. Here we have found a niche in that people who really have a passion to personalize thier own living spaces can communicate that desire and see the vision become a reality. Sedona has enabled us employ many new and interesting design techniques and styles. In doing such we have experienced great satisfation and fullfilment. We have met and aquired many satisfied customers but more importantly some really great friends!
