First time guests found through Groupon. Absolute hidden gem!!! We ordered the pot roast which was recommended to us by the hostess, beef medallions and the grouper tacos. All were excellent. This is definitely a must go to restaurant.

Did we seriously pay $ 28 for a Caesar salad (only lettuce) with half turkey sandwich and a raw steak wedge salad??? We won’t be back awful experience, we were hoping it would be amazing salads since it took over 30 minutes and only 3 other tables at the Resturant with diners but no we had to get the food to go since it took so long, we open the food up when we get home to this??? See photos… completely disappointed!!!

Easily my favorite restaurant on this side of the river. Great food and great people. Their soups are amazing, the tacos and sandwiches are wonderful and I love the wings! Great selection of drinks and appetizers and a comfortable atmosphere. Could not find a better place to eat and spend time with friends…

The staff at bemos is great. The food is definitely above average. Cajun pasta, shrimp and grits, hill salad are a few of my favorites. My only gripe is that the prices are pretty high… Prolly 15% more than they should be.

I never visited this restaurant since it changed hands a couple of times. A few weeks ago I purchased a Groupon for Bemos and thought We would give it a try. We went there for lunch and we were both very impressed with atmosphere, service and the food. We will definitely go back and give the dinner menu a try. I recommend this restaurant.

This was one of the first places that I found for a bite to eat after moving to Missouri. The location is nice (it’s in Cottleville, such a cute town!), and the food has been tasty. Once or twice the service has been slow. I still keep it in the rotation of places to get dinner, but would choose somewhere else for a special night out. Head across the street to VB Chocolate Bar for an amazing dessert or coffee.

I really, really, wanted to like this place – and I still do. I try my best to support local businesses, however, the service virtually makes it impossible to enjoy Bemos. Once out of 4 times, we had really good service. It seemed the more times we frequented, the worse the service became. On our last visit, upon arriving we were seated right away, that’s where the hospitality ended. My husband and I sat for nearly 15 minutes before our waiter addressed us and then disappeared. We ended up leaving to go somewhere else. The food is good, I’ll give them that, but difficult to enjoy it if no one waits on you. Perhaps Mr. B is having a hard time getting good help or needs his manager to manage better.

Our first visit was great and I’ll definitely be returning. We started off with nachos, it had bbq pork on it and they are delicious. I got the pot roast and my husband got the Cuban sandwich and a bowl of chili. All of the food was delicious, the service was perfect and I would definitely recommend visiting.

We had dinner here tonight with some friends. We’d driven by here a few times but had never stopped to give it a try.
I’ll have to say we were very pleasantly surprised! I had a Wedge Salad with steak and it was really good. My wife had the steak kabobs and they were really good too.
Service was outstanding! With tip, we were out of there for a hundred, including tip. I need to follow that, or maybe I should have prefaced that with the fact that we were drinking. Myself, a nice single malt, and my wife a very nice Chard. Without the libations, one could easily be out of there for under $ 50 for a party of two and eat very well. Sandwiches, and you could be under $ 25.
Outstanding and really work a try!

We pulled in after 10 on a Saturday night and they still had the full kitchen open. We were extremely grateful for that.
My wife had the barbecue nachos and I had the meatball sub. Both were done really, really well and we’d both order them again if we found ourselves hungry and in downtown Cottleville.

This is a pretty welcoming place. They had a happy hour all day to celebrate their one year, and even though we didn’t sit in the bar area, the server gave us happy hour deals. It is definitely NOT vegetarian friendly. There are literally about 3 appetizers on the menu without meat. All the entrees had meat. Even all the salads had meat except for the very basic house salad. A decent selection of wines, bottled beer. House wine $ 5 a glass, beer $ 2.25 a bottle, cocktail 2.75 (happy hour prices). The portabello mushrooms were AMAZING.

Have been here a few times. Food is good, love fish tacos BUT the service was bad. On one visit I picked up my water glass to take a sip the waitress walked by snatched my glass from my hand refilled and set glass down. I ran into someome who had also gone there and also had bad service. It’s a shame because we liked the food but…

Food was good — I had the grouper tacos. Waitress was nice but when we asked about the house wine, she said «we really don’t have a house wine — it’s just what they come up with each day!!!» should have said «I’ll check!»
I found a small purple coach clutch hanging on the door in the bathroom and turn it in to a woman with short blonde hair who said she would give it to the bartender??? And that someone would probably come back for it in two or three days when they sobered up and realized where they lost it!
So — Food not bad, wine — OK, atmosphere was comfortable. The staffs opion of customers — not good! I certainly hope the person that lost teir wallet actually gets it back!

Little worried when they brought out the store bought room temp unsalted chips and pace salsa. Redeemed when they brought out dinner. I got the kc smokehouse (I would go back just for it) and SO got the pot roast. She finished hers before I even was half done which means she really liked it.
Had to knock off a little bit just because it seemed like it took quite a bit of time for everything.
I would go back though.

Beautiful neighborhood restaurant, came on a packed Saturday night at 7:00 pm with reservations and was seated in 5 min. Used our Groupon which the waiter said they don’t normally accept on weekends, but he graciously got accepted anyway, kudo’s to him for his excellent service and attitude, nice to see! Had the cajun shrimp pasta which was excellent and perfectly done, wife had a hankering for a good cheeseburger and got the blue cheese stuffed burger which was perfect! Will be back to check out the tenderloins! Selections on the menu are well varied and very well priced for the quality.

Beautiful interior, great food and service. Had the braised pot roast, meat was very tender, gravy was awesome. This is the old sherlocks restaurant.
