Wedemeyer Chiropractic & Orthotics

I am a competitive runner, and back in December I was suffering from debilitating hip pain that had me unable to do long distance training runs for a half marathon I was training for. I would literally go from running to jogging to limping trying to finish a sub10 mile training run. I thought my running career had come to an end. In January, I went and saw Dr. Wedemeyer and after spending some time observing my body mechanics both running and walking he had me fitted for custom orthotics to wear when I would run. 3 days after receiving my orthotics, I ran a 10k race; my first time wearing them for a run. It was amazing. I was pain free. The very next day I wore them again for a half marathon and took almost 10 minutes off my finish time from a half marathon I ran back in November… and that was after already running a 10k the day before! Today I ran a 5k and for the first time in almost a year, I ran 2 consecutive miles in an under 10 minute pace and finished the race with a sub10 minute average pace. It brought tears of joy to my eyes. I never thought I would ever be able to get back to running at this level. Dr. Wedemeyer was patient and attentive and eager to help me get back on my feet. He quickly put me at ease and I loved his holistic approach to addressing and solving my pain issue without drugs or invasive treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Wedemeyer to anyone who is looking for a doctor who will provide compassionate care.

I went to see him 2 years ago after I hurt my back working on my house and he fixed my back 100% in 3 appointments.
A week ago, after a bad surfing session, he fixed my back again in 2 appointments!

My first ever Chiropractic visit after many years of combat sports. Dr. Wedemeyer was recommended to me by my bosses. Dr. Wedemeyer has a great energy to him, he was very patient and makes you feel at ease. It’s a small office location so the patient experience is not chaotic at all. The attention is set on an individual and the individual only. Fair pricing and he didn’t try to recommend a bunch of unnecessary xrays or extra visits like some sort of shady auto mechanic, which was a relief. After just two visits I felt way more mobile. Besides the physical benefits, my mood was much lighter as well. I guess that comes with pain relief, right? Thanks Dr. Wedemeyer!

I came to Dr Wedemeyer after visiting another chiropractor in the area who tried to gut me. I was rear ended on the 405 and came here to get treatment. Dr Wedemeyer is excellent. He is very gentle with adjustments and can really feel when something is a little off. Besides his regular skills, he is also very attentive and a great resource. He helped guide me through the process of filing my
Insurance claim and he has shown the utmost professionalism and patience that is truly lacking in business today.

I just pulled my left rib from working my last through Pilates yesterday then played golf this morning of course it made it worse. I called Dr. Wedemeyer and he took me in last minute no problem. For about 3 years I had been struggling with issues with my feet including plantar faciitis, shin splints and even a stress fracture. After taking a look at my injury history and specific needs, Dr. W ordered up some custom-​made orthotics for me. 9 Months later I have been running faster and more consistently than ever before. I still have to take care of my legs+feet but I credit Dr. Wedemeyer and his custom orthotics for being a HUGE part of giving me the ability to have a successful and injury-​free triathlon season!

I’ve been receiving chiropractic care for 5 or 6 years, and I’ve seen quite a few doctors. Dr. Wedemeyer is definitely the most thorough yet, not to mention his sincere desire to help you get better. At my first visit, he did a full examination of all my problem areas and even found new issues I was unaware of. Upon each returning visit, he re-​evaluated the problem spots and catered his adjustment specifically to the areas that needed work, unlike some doctors I’ve been to that do the same thing every visit no matter where you’re having issues. In just over a week, I felt my neck and shoulders loosen up, and felt infinitely better.
Dr. Wedemeyer was also generous enough to take extra time to help me find a good pair of running shoes. I have flat feet and low arches, so it’s not easy to find the proper support for my feet, but Dr. Wedemeyer spent an hour examining my feet and looking at different shoes online with me until we found a few options that would work for me… I love my new shoes. What a nice guy!
He and Shiree, his massage therapist, make an unbeatable combo. I can’t even put into words how much better I felt after the massages and adjustments I recieved from these two. They’re friendly and honest about the work they do, and I am so lucky to have found them!

I adore Dr. Wedemeyer. Although I live about 4 hours from his office, I make every effort to see him when I’m in town on business. I have had back issues with little resolution from my local practioners. It was Dr. Wedemeyer who listened to my symptoms, believed in me and ordered the proper type of MRI. I was diagnosed with some issues that needed a surgical approach. Dr. Wedemeyer was there with me every step of the way in my search for the «right» surgeon for me. He continues to support my health needs and I cannot say enough good things about him, his ethics and his integrity.

Dr. Wedemeyer is personable, respectful, and guides you through the procedure with the utmost care. Most importantly, I felt really, really good afterwards. I’d been walking around with all these misalignments without even knowing it!
The man is generous with his knowledge as well – he’ll take the time to speak with you about any questions or issues you may have. So, yeah, he fixed me up – and on top of that, I learned a thing or two! Looking forward to more sessions.

I had a small car accident with good insurance, and was relied on Unilocal to find a chiropractic to help me out.
Can’t say he’s good but a great story teller. He did miss one of my appointment, and the staff stood me up once too. Yep, twice I was outside waiting… By the time he told me how expensive is his doctor bag, I understood where my insurance money went. That was not the right thing to tell a patient. Overall, he’s OK.

Dr. Wedemeyer provided 100% effective, prompt, ethical care for my shoulder– mid back pain. As a registered nurse, I have been very impressed by his conservative approach. Dr. Wedemeyer works in close concert with medical doctors, considering chiropractic care one facet of treatment. He did not do unnecessary x-​rays nor did he attempt to sell me products. He has provided me with tools and exercises for spine strengthening. Most importantly– in less than ten minutes he found the cause of my extreme back pain (a subluxed rib) and fixed it. Unbelievable. For 17 years I had been trying to find an answer to this on again off again excruciating pain since my first pregnancy. Nothing had helped other than to dull the pain prior to seeing him. I am not a review writer but I felt compelled to post this– Dr. Wedemeyer proves that truly exceptional, solution oriented, affordable patient centered care does exist.

I found Dr. Wedemeyer through a friend. I’ve had other chiropractors in my life and none have been as amazing as him. I went to him in a debilitated state. I could not move my neck and had to drive. I live in Los Angeles and was a bit apprehensive about traveling such a distance to get adjusted. I’m glad I did. Not only did he take the greatest care in adjusting me while I was in such pain, but he explained every step of the way. His extensive knowledge put my mind at ease when I thought I was going to never be able to move my neck again. I have sent other people to him and will continue to send people to him no matter the distance. Certainly pay him a visit, you will not be disappointed.

I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Wed to help me with a serious back injury. I was in so much pain that I almost had to crawl into Dr. Wedes office on my first visit. I was very nervous about seeing a Chiropractor for this lower back injury, (Herniated disc.) because I didn’t want to be injured even more on the table of a chiropractor that I didn’t know, while getting adjusted. Dr. Wed did a great job treating my injury with several different therapeutic treatments. I felt improvement after every visit and was back to work in a couple weeks. I highly recommend Dr. Wed to anyone with back or foot problems, he is highly educated when it comes to healing an injury. Dr. Wedes is not only the best chiropractor you’ve ever had, he’s prob the best doctor you’ll ever have. He’s extremely personable, professional and very talented at fixing whatever ails you. He and his office is the first thing are one of the surest things when it comes to client care, I highly recommend you give him a call and schedule an appt.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Wedemeyer for years and I make an attempt to see him at least once a month to keep my back and body healthy. I lead a pretty active lifestyle so keeping my back healthy is really important. Not only does he understand back pain well he also has a good understanding of supplementation and nutrition as well as the mechanics of other parts of the body.
