It’s a small little store with official USC merchandise. What’s not to like? The place is tiny, but they have a good variety of SC gear. Obviously they don’t have all the cool and unique stuff that the Bookstore has, but it’s nice to have a store down here for the OC folks. They even had a little section for babies, and I was able to get some little t-shirts for my nephews. They cost as much as I pay for my own shirts, but hey, that’s the price you pay if you wanna be cool. So I will definitely be back here to pick up some new stuff for football season. Now that Kiffin is finally gone, we might actually have a season to be proud of. Fight on.

Okay, I’m not a big USC fan, in fact I should resent them because I used to photograph some of their sports and never got any pay from them. Not even a T-shirt. So, why did I come here? I needed to buy a SC shirt for a funeral. What? Yes, a funeral. My friend’s Father in Law died and I am attending the funeral out of respect for my friend, even though I only briefly met the Father in Law like maybe two times. Why the SC shirt? Well, the guy was a HUGESC mark. SC Football meant everything to him(keep any of your SC sanction jokes to yourself). So, I thought, why just dress in black to mourn his passing, why not wear a black SC shirt to commemorate his life? I came here with the intention of buying a SC Polo shirt, but they cost $ 60. Way too much, but then again everything in this God Forsaken mall is. Given that I’m not going to wear the shirt often, if ever again, I passed on that. I looked for a decent T-shirt that didn’t have an overbearing SC logo emblazoned on the front. Selection was limited, but I did find a black tee with a small SC logo on it that wasn’t too expensive. Is it odd to have a SC themed store in OC. Not really. Just before I came here, I was down in Balboa and there were many houses flying SC flags. I guess they have a market to cater to and also South County people do not like to venture outside of the Orange Curtain.

Let me first say, I am an SC supporter. So if I were able to give this place more stars, then I would. Yes, the place is small. But unless you’re looking for some unique items, you can definitely get your USC gear here. It’s great that the staff is helpful, and you can get in and out of the store with relative ease. It sure beats driving up to USC. There are 2 sales annually to look out for: 1) December and 2) May /June. I believe the discount was ~20% off, but it could be more.

Fight on USC, I get all my stuff here and everyone buys me all my SC stuff here. Hats, shot glasses, golf head covers you name it! They always have a great selection of everything you would ever want that is USC.

This Trojan was in need of Trojan gear. And although I am quite faithful to my alma mater, I couldn’t brave the 405 to get to the campus bookstore. Sure, the store is quiet small and merchandise is kind of crammed in but it has all the essentials one needs to show that ‘SC pride. FIGHTON! :)

As an extreme ‘SC enthusiast, I’m shocked I gave it less than 5 stars… but here it goes. Pros: Again, as an extreme ‘SC enthusiast, I have everything under the sun ‘SC(mugs, shirts, shorts, you name it). Since I moved to the OC, it’s nice to still update my collection without driving all the way to the University Park Campus or to pay for shipping(which, by the way, would be nice if they offer promotional free shipping once in awhile). For such a small store, they do have almost everything I want or need. That being said… Cons: When I can’t find something I want, the employees are super helpful in looking in the back storage and offer alternative options. However, even though they offer to ship items from the main store down to South Coast Plaza, the employees aren’t the most helpful in following-up. More than twice I’m left hanging, never knowing whether they received the items I requested or if the request to ship from Park Campus even occurred.

I gotta agree with my fellow Unilocaler cate. I am a USC student and find it weird that we have a branch out store at a mall. I mean, I guess it’s okay but it should really be just the bookstore on campus. It does have just about everything here rolled into a tiny little shop but I just find it tacky to have a branch off like this.

Tiny alcove of a location, always has anything and everything you could ever want from the USC Bookstore on campus. but here in the best mall in OC also! be sure to sign up for email updates of sales/etc because you never know some things go on sale one day and off the next.

I miss the old store by McD’s in the main part of South Coast Plaza. It was actually a pretty large store… the current store is barely a closet in comparison. But, it still has a decent selection of USC gear for your USC-related needs. And if they don’t have it, they can usually get it there within a few days, so you don’t have to drive up to the main store on campus and fight for parking.

For Trojan gear in OC, this place can’t be beat. Sure, you can find some caps and shirts at sports stores, but this place has a great selection spanning from t-shirts to button-downs to accessories. There always seems to be something new in the tiny boutique, and I often find things I’ve never seen at the USC Bookstore. Definitely better to stop here than to wait for game day to gear up!

Only in OC could you put a USC store and have it survive. If I can’t make it to the USC Bookstore on the University Park or health science campus, I come here to grab a license plate frame or baseball cap. The store is small, but it carries most of the basics you’d probably want. Sometimes they have sales after football season is over.
