Established in 2011.

Top-​End is a family owned business founded in May, 2011 by Orange County locals. Seeking an honest, clean and professional shop in Orange County, the owners felt a void in the state of the automotive service business. After realizing the opportunity to fill this void in the Market, the owners set out to open a new shop utilizing experienced, certified technicians in the shop and experienced customer service specialists in the office. Moreover, the goal was to create a comfortable, luxurious lounge for customers to enjoy while waiting for their vehicle to be serviced. The result? Well, you — our customers — will have to be the judge!

Eric began his career specializing in BMW’s at Precision Motors nearly 15 years ago. When the opportunity arose to follow his dream of opening his own shop, Eric dove in head first.

Eric’s goal was to create a shop that reflects his honesty, integrity and top-​end customer service standard.

I trust no one more than the guys at Top End! I have been bringing my BMW 338i here for a couple years now and I’m more and more impressed every time. Their professionalism and honesty are unmatched by anyone. Everything from their immaculate waiting area to their quick and fair service is above and beyond. If you’re looking for the best shop in the business, you’ve found it!

I had to see for myself if all these reviews were real. Yep, they are. Don’t even think about it, go there and you will see for yourself. I took in an old Volvo that had a leak in the AC that was only blowing hot air. I needed a quick fix because the temp was over 100 degrees and it was humid (August 2015). I had 2 stipulations… I only have 30 minutes and it needs to work long enough for me to drive to LAX in traffic. I didn’t care what it took or cost, just get it done. They have never met me yet when I pulled up he immediately took the car around and handled it. They treated me like I was a long time customer. I was in-​n-​out in less than 30 minutes. It blew ice ice cold, mission accomplished!

Saw these guys were well rated on Unilocal and I needed an OC place now that I don’t work out of L.A. From the moment I called to make an appointment and go over my car concerns until I picked my car up when it was done being worked on, I experienced nothing but professionalism and competence. They had my car for a few days so communication was ongoing, I got a call saying to see my email to go over what needed to be done and what the costs would be. What could be deferred and little things that were easily fixed at no charge. they shuttled me to and from work with Sean who was friendly, and easy to converse with. They had it detailed so I’m driving around in a super shiny Audi that drives like it’s supposed to! Long story short, I found an OC place to bring my car in for maintenance and repairs. These guys are doing what they love and rock at it!

Took my 2006 Z4M here for an oil change. Scheduling an appointment was seamless, showed up for my appointment and they got right to work on it without delay. Their lounge area is very comfortable and they have plenty accommodations for their customers. I personally like how they have a big glass wall where you can see all the cars they’re working on. Overall great experience with this shop.

Took in my wife’s Jaguar XJR for an air filter upgrade. Stock to K&N Filter. Jaguar XJR’s air filter is tricky to change and require specific tools to get into. So I walked into TopEnd and asked if they could swap it out. No questions asked, he took my key and took care of it within minutes. Not only did they swap it out, he also checked all fluids and tire pressure. I was low a quart of oil, he simply topped it off, wrote me up for $ 10 and I was on my way. Great service, dependable, and I will definitely be back for my regular major services on the Jaguar. My kind of shop!

Honesty. Integrity. Polite. Fast. Is the experience I had at top-​end motorworks.
Night before we leave to cancun our 2014 convertible 428i BMW’s suspension goes out. We have it towed to BMW where they claim a series of components affecting the driver’s front side suspension are failing along with a snapped driver’s rear control arm.
Arbitrarily, they decide the work is not covered under warranty and claim «outside» damages must have occurred.
The invoice — $ 3,643.
To verify the fixes, I have the car towed to These amazing people to take a look.
Matt gave me a rough estimate of $ 2700, but after closer investigation, realizes the claimed driver side front suspension issues do not exist.
They charge me $ 702 and the car was ready 3 days from drop off.
There aren’t words to describe this type of service and honesty because it’s more of a feeling, but I am thankful there are still good people in this world.

I took my 2009 X5 to this place last week for a rear brake job after reading several reviews and I have to say that I was not disappointed.
I was greeted by Matt who had quoted me a reasonable cost for the repair. The place was very clean and friendly, they dropped me off at my office and promised to get the job done by noon. They sent my car to a detailed car wash after completing the repair that did a fantastic job. I had accidentally left a wallet full of cash, petty cash and many other valuables in my car and everything was intact when I picked up my repaired and super clean car.
A great shop and wonderful owners. Matt is an avid golfer too which is a plus for me!!!

I highly recommend going to Top-​End with any car troubles! My braking system had a good amount of damage caused by poorly installed snow chains on my year old car and the dealership wanted to charge $ 1300 to repair. I called Top-​End and they were honest, extremely helpful and promised to save me money. My car was fixed within a day and I was even provided with a loaner car at no cost. They charged half of what the dealership quoted and now my car is back to perfect. Thanks Matt and Eric!

These guys are the best! We are about to take a road trip and head out of town and of course my alarm in my car goes off that my front headlight is out. It’s the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and I call at 1:00pm to see if they can fix it. They didn’t answer, so I left a message with our situation. They called back within 30 minutes and even though they were swamped, they said «come in whenever you can and we’ll squeeze you in because we want you to be safe on your trip!» Talk about amazing customer service! That doesn’t happen everywhere. This style of customer service will keep me loyal and always recommending Top End Motors.

My third time here for my 2009 X5 and very glad I found some place I trust to my auto service. Always received low prices as I have check the average prices before I get service. I was here last May and was not charged as I needed to replace my tires per their recommendation. They referee me to costco to replace my tires and they did have the best prices. Now, I need my smog check after my brake fluid is flushed and they recommended a smog check station. I looked it up on Unilocal and they have great reviews as well.
I trust this place and that is not easy when dealing with mechanics from my experience.

I am so happy I found Top End MotorWerks in 2011, Matt and Eric keep my car in perfect condition. I’m always greeted with a friendly smile, an honest opinion with estimate, guaranteed repair work, and a cold or hot beverage. I’ve waited for a lapse in service (like other OC mechanics I’ve dealt with over the last 10 years while servicing my BMW’s), but TopEnd just keeps out-​doing themselves with great service and great work … they are consistent. This review is long over due, I can’t say enough good things about them.

This place continues to excel in customer service, price, and quality. My original review covers the reasons why I trust this place and continue to have my vehicle repaired here. Owning a BMW isn’t cheap. There are high ownership costs and luckily, I’ve been able to manage those costs with trustworthy and efficient service from this place.
As long as I drive a BMW, I’ll be bringing my car here. Thanks to the whole team for the excellent service!

I was looking on Unilocal for an autoshop that can help diagnose an issue with an Audi entertainment system. I generally trust Unilocal reviews, and Top-​End has high enough ratings that I gave them a shot. I left the car there for the day, paid them $ 125 with the task of telling me why the MMI was intermittently failing.
Unfortunately they gave me a fairly vague and unhelpful answer that turned out to be incorrect. I understand electronic gremlins can be hard to detect, but if I am paying $ 125 for a service, I look for accurate results.

I cant say enough good things about Matt & Eric at Top End Motorwerks!
I’ll start with this, they saved me over $ 2000 from what the dealer wanted to charge me. They were very ethical, communicated with me often and even sent me videos & pictures of what problems they found and what needed to be done to fix it. I was rarely put on hold, and even got a call over the 4th of July weekend to let me know what sort of progress had been made on my car.
I will happily recommend Top End Motorwerks to anybody who asks. Keep up the good work guys!

I’ve been researching several places to get my car serviced other than the dealership which charges you and arm and a leg just for an oil change. My car was in need of a routine oil service but I didn’t want to take it to the dealership so I went on good old Unilocal to check some places out. Found Top end Motorwerks with perfect 5 star reviews so made an appointment.
The waiting area is clean. They offer you refreshments and snacks while you wait for your car… free of charge. My oil change took less than 45 mins to complete and only paid around 100 bucks for it. Btw I’m giving this place five stars because there was a gap between my hood and my fender that got magically fixed with no charge. Didn’t realize the gap got smaller once I got home. I’m definitely coming back here for any future needs my Benz would need. Fast service, attention to detail and just good costumer service, I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs their Euro cars attended to.

I don’t think I’ve every been happier taking a car in to see a mechanic, and I’ve been gushing about this shop since I used them last week on my 2008 VW Rabbit.
The space itself was beautiful — immaculately clean, inviting, and way, way above my expectations for a «mechanic shop front desk.» The staff was helpful, professional, and friendly, and even though I made it pretty clear that I didn’t mind calling out a Lyft driver to take me back home, I got a personal ride home from Matt, one of the owners of the shop, which I was really impressed by.
Not too long after that, I got a call from Eric, the other owner, with a really honest assessment of the issues — rather than paint everything as a «must-​fix,» Eric was frank about which issues should be handled (changing out the spark plugs and engine air filter), and which ones didn’t make sense to invest money into considering the age and mileage on the car. His honesty saved us over $ 1,600 in fixes that we likely would have spent the money on. Before the end of the day, the car was ready for pickup with very little down time.
Top-​End Motorwerks is doing everything right, and while nobody WANTS to have to take their car into the shop, I’m actually looking forward to my next interaction with these awesome people.
