The Enclave

Everyone at Enclave is just brilliant like leasing office people, maintenance technicians, and neighbors. We just moved to this place and we love staying here, the location is great, everything that I need is around, amazing apartments so quiet. I would definitely recommend this place especially to my coworkers at UCI. Here I want specifically appreciate NATALIE ROBINN who helped us with our apartment it was so nice of you to help through this moving process we will always be grateful to all that you have done for us.

Honestly, I am so excited to tell people about The Enclave its not even funny. I moved in last month and am in awe every night when I come home.
I am a super meticulous person, I work 7 days a week so coming home to peace is very important to me. It is nice to feel very at «Home», especially with apartment living.
The community is unbelievable! Walking distance to my gym (24 hr fitness), walking distance to South Coast Plaza, even a strawberry field on the other side of the street!
Ati is a rockstar, she was patient with me the entire time taking me to different apartments and was highly informative for my thousands of questions asked. I am pumped to live in a place with such a great staff!
Love where I live for sure!

I LOVED living here! I had to relocate up north but I can say without a doubt I miss living at the Enclave! What’s not to love?! Spacious apartments that are upgraded, grounds are well maintained and manicured, 2 beautiful pools, private garages, food trucks, and you can’t beat the location! I’ve read a lot of the reviews about alleged fist fights, car thefts, lack of parking, horrible office staff etc… I have to say I did not experience any of that while living here! The maintenance staff was always professional and took care of things in a timely manner. The office staff was always professional, kind and went above and beyond.
The only reason my review fell short of a 5 star is because I I hated that the front gate was open at all hours due to maintenance issues and during the summer there were A LOT of non residents utilizing the amenities (pool & gym) which they were not paying for. I know some residents get upset that they have to pay for cabanas when they want to throw parties but it’s states all of that in the lease when you are handed your keys, no surprises! Plus a lot of residents abused the privilege of having too many guests taking over the pool every weekend to the point that actual residents couldn’t enjoy their own amenities. It’s a balance that they needed to regulate.
Again I love this place, and I miss living here.

Can’t say that I’ve ever done a triple review for a business before but Enclave and Julianne in the leasing office earned a better review. After my prior review, she immediately reached out to me and apologized for the frustration and worked with me regarding the fee. She also explained what we can expect next in the checkout process. We both sincerely appreciate the gesture and service. Thanks again.

Amazing place to live and great for kids, Leasing office staff are always very professional, attentive and helpful especially «Natalie Robbin». She is so nice, helpfull and always cares about us. benefits and amenities of a planned and secure community.

I’ve lived in this apartment complex for 9 months and I have not had any problems. The staff, especially Jackie and Ati, were so helpful in making my move flawless. Jackie helped me find something quick. They followed up before and after my move and really made me feel welcomed. The complex is really clean, quiet but friendly and a good mix between mid 20’s, and families. The amenities are great as well. Maintenance has a really fast response time and there is always security guards driving around the complex. I feel safe here and I really love the location because it is so close to everything! I’ve really enjoyed living here so far and would recommend The Enclave.
Gave it four stars only because:
1. It’s irvine company. You’ll love where you live but when your lease is up they raise the rent so much people end up leaving. Just a heads up.
2. It is around business and no other complex. This is great for privacy but bad for parking. Not enough guest spots but has not been an issue yet. Open parking is always available but they recently started ticketing cars parked there after 6pm. Pretty lenient so far though

Thank you for your response. I did speak with Julianne and discussed the issues at hand along with obtaining the resolution we were looking for. My husband and I wished it didn’t get to this level as we did provide feedback and same concerns to the leasing office team. We hope that this truly a learning opportunity for those who failed to do the bare minimum and that was listen, understand where someone’s frustrating steams from and offer a solution that can allow an effortless outcome. It’s not about the problems that concerned us it was the way they were handled and poor recovery. The Enclave has a great product, however the staff and training does not meet the same level of quality and standards in which the consumer expects and deserves.

We have lived at The Enclave for over 4 years now and LOVE it! The location is so conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, and freeways. The customer service is awesome! Maintenance requests are always completed quickly and properly. One of the things we love about living here are the social events as well… movies, wine tastings, pool parties. The pools give any resort a run for their money! We plan on staying here until we are able to buy a home of our own. I highly recommend The Enclave to anyone looking for a fabulous place to live!

We have lived at The Enclave for almost three years now and we have almost no complaints. The staff is friendly and helpful, there is plenty of parking, the community is clean and safe. Any maintenance requests that we have ever submitted have been filled within the day, usually within the next two hours. The main pool is always clean and has plenty of room while the smaller pool in the back is a nice option for a quieter atmosphere. Our only complaint is that the water pressure isn’t the best, but it’s certainly not bad enough to take away from our experience. Assuming the prices don’t absolutely sky-​rocket, this is far and away the best community for your money in the area.

I really try to only leave positive reviews, but enough is enough.
I don’t ask for much: relative quiet after 10pm, reliable hot water, to remain blissfully unaware of others’ drug usage, a washing machine that doesn’t vomit up soapy water when it’s on the spin cycle, a below-​average amount of service from the front office, and a lack of fistfights in the street outside my residence.
But Enclave, you’ve disappointed even me. Constantly upping the rent more than the market rate (yes, we checked), relocating or losing your best front desk people due to negligent management, and now this parking fiasco! I would love to say that everything mentioned in the 1-​star reviews isn’t true, but my mother didn’t raise a liar. I can’t even describe the complex as «meh» without the required adjective «overpriced».
I should mention my favorite part of the Enclave though: Seeing it grow smaller in my rearview mirror each morning.

It’s unfortunate that management at the Enclave is unwilling to accommodate for those respectable, rule-​abiding residents. For only one day out of the year, I’ve tried to communicate how important it is to have my family come visit me and be present enough to also enjoy my residential living space. They’ve expressed the only way I can enjoy time with my family by the pool is to pay $ 75/​hour to rent out the clubhouse. For the amount of money I spend on rent and all of the amenities, the least they could do is to accommodate to such residents as myself vs. making me suffer comparable to those who’ve broken the rules.
I am beyond displeased and turned off from extending my living here.
To all those considering signing a lease at The Enclave, I’d suggest looking at other options. Management used to be better here. Unfortunately, it’s not as good as it used to be. Looks can be deceiving, and that’s all that The Enclave has to offer. It is NOT worth the price they charge to live here.

My favorite part of exploring this quiet complex was the various floor plans. They have over 20 floor plans to choose from! Yikes! Well luckily for us, we got a tour from a very patient & thorough leasing agent Christian. Christian was very knowledgable of the area and dedicated his time to show us around. Overall, our tour experience was great and full of details! I been on apt tours where their on a time frame and only show you what they want, well that wasn’t the case with Christian. We hope to make this our future residence coming soon :)

My girlfriend and I are looking to move into our first apartment together and this was one of our stops yesterday.
Jackie was our tour guide and she was great! This place really surprised us and had a lot of great things I didn’t expect…
It felt very safe in the community and people seemed very nice. Parking looked to be the best from all the apartments we have toured so far. The pool seemed very peaceful and nice.
The only reason we are not giving it a 5 star rating is the gym. This is a huge deal breaker for us and even though we like the gym we don’t love it. We feel compared to other locations this one has fewer weight machines and just a tad bit smaller.
We are continuing our apartment hunting but this one is definitely on our «watch list»

I’ve lived at the Enclave for almost 4 years now — I find it interesting to read others negative reviews because that has been quite far from my experience (I wonder if we’re living at the same place?). And, when I did have an issue, it was taken care of almost immediately.
My Thoughts:
Location
— If you are a young professional, the location of the Enclave is near perfect. Close to SNA, 405, 55, 73, South Coast, SCFTA, etc. Location makes the Enclave a perfect central hub for everything. Also, with the new community developments, there will be a lot more coming to the area around the Enclave,
Price
— The price point for the Enclave is truly right in the sweet spot. It’s not a starter apartment with no amenities, and it’s not beachfront — lifestyles of the rich and the famous, its perfectly right in the middle, a perfect fit for a young professional. You have to remember whats included in your rent (ie: garage, gym, pool (s), community events, food trucks, bbq’s, washer and dryer, main office for package delivery, A/​C, well kept grounds, service management, etc). If you break down all the amenities you’ll find the price point is excellent.
Quality/​Care of the Property
— This is probably one of the most noticeable, the management takes excellent care of the grounds. Landscaping and cleaning is being done constantly — the grounds and buildings look great. You’ll also notice that they clean the community BBQ grills almost weekly — which is awesome.
Service
— In my almost 4 years I’ve had a few things that break /​need repairs and within less than 2 days of putting in a request, its fixed. My garbage disposal broke, it was fixed that night. Smoke detector was acting up, all replaced and fixed the next day. cabinet broke /​came off the hinge, fixed the next day — not sure how much better you can get with that. I’d also like to add that they do routine maintenance such as cleaning the air filters for the HVAC — this is very important.
Parking
— I’ve never had a single issue with parking, there are always open spots. Yes, later at night and holidays things fill up — but never anything more then a few extra steps.
Bugs
— To keep the review honest, yes I have spotted a few bugs around the complex, but when I did, I put in a service request and it was handled within a couple of days. No more bugs, process worked great.
Staff
— All the points above combined with the Staff makes this a great place to live. The staff is always friendly, courteous, and helpful. Whether you’re just picking up a package, or need help with something. I had the pleasure of working with Jana when I was recently transferring to a bigger apartment. She was helpful, knowledgeable, and made the process painless.
Happy to call the Encalve home!

The best part about enclave is the walk way to walk around the complex.
Enclave is not luxurious at all. It’s like a hotel where the lobby and walk ways are luxurious but once you pay and book your room you realize it’s not what you are paying for.
1^st the dumpsters are over flowing with trash and there are people from outside the complex who dig through the trash in the middle of the night.
2^nd the cockroaches are true and no elevators.
3^rd the quality of the people who live their is not Orange County. Pet owners do not clean up after their pets, you can smell weed from your living room every other night, domestic verbal fights in the middle of the night,
4^th changes with zero notices. I.e.) I have lived here for 12+ months and I got a ticket last night. I live here and I got a ticket and when I went to the leasing office they told me they are now requiring parking permits. This is great and I am all for it. Why would I get a parking ticket without even the leasing office mailing me a letter? Everyone at the leasing office was nice and sweet as always but it doesn’t change the fact that I am unhappy with living here.

Bravo Enclave. You guys did it again.
My husband and I moved in a little over 2 years ago. The leasing office never required a parking permit when we moved in. My husband got a parking ticket for overnight parking even when we are residents here! The office never notified us that they were going to start reinforcing «parking permits.» This doesn’t make sense as we’ve never received one.
To the idiots at the leasing office, why don’t you guys reinforce the garage inspections that you guys said you were going to do to ensure that everyone is utilizing their garage instead of hiring some retarded security company to mindlessly hand out tickets for your lazy asses?
The garages near my apartment definitely need an inspection. Hoarders galore.

This is my favorite apartment ever! This is absolutely a luxury community that values it’s tenants in a tangible way. Yes you are going to pay a premium to live here but it is honestly right in line with the pricing of the competing neighboring communities.
It is the cleanest complex I visited during my apartment search, with the best amenities (gorgeous Vegas style pool with cabanas and wifi, outdoor fireplace, BBQ’s at every building, perfect landscaping, pretty park like atmosphere to walk around, 24 hr fitness center with numerous free classes available, private garages, movie theater you can rent out). And it has the best staff, everyone has been friendly and helpful and Natalie is the best leasing agent of all time.
There are food trucks twice a week, tenant events, I even got greeted with a coffee/​bagel/​fruit breakfast on my way out the gate this morning :). There are several restaurants within walking distance (including a Starbucks right across the street) and you have South Coast Plaza about 2 minutes away.
I was relocating from LA to the OC area and she made my entire leasing process so painless and quick, had everything ready to go for me (which was a huge relief since I had a moving truck with 2 movers waiting on me). She really goes out of her way to include the personal touch you would expect from a hotel concierge not an apartment leasing agent. If you are interested in leasing at The Enclave definitely go see Natalie.
I’ve had a few items that needed attention from maintenance and there are always a few hiccups with these types of things but they have handled it really well from start to finish, I never felt I was being ignored or that my issue would not be resolved.
The only drawback I could see is that there are no elevators and I live on the 3^rd floor so that was a bit of pain during moving but it’s not a big deal at all.
I would HIGHLY recommend leasing your next apt home at The Enclave, it’s an amazing location, well managed, friendly staff, best in apt amenities and décor in the area for your $$!!!

Hi Unilocalers! I am absolutely amazed that this place has 4 stars as of writing this review. If you’re seriously considering moving into the Enclave, please read the filtered reviews down at the bottom. I also agree with what Joe C. wrote about his experience at the Enclave. I have witnessed and experienced the same things that he has. Even after reading that review, I’m starting to notice the experiences he wrote about that I haven’t seen yet.
I’ve been a resident of the Enclave for about 6 months. They have a note in the leasing office soliciting good reviews and at one point were offering some sort of a perk for customers writing a 5 star review about them. I wonder what kind of prize I will get for trying to shed some light on the true colors of the Enclave.
The pros of the Enclave are the pools, the landscaping and the overall outward appearance. Once you get into it and pay attention to the little things, you will notice that this place is way overpriced for what you’re getting. It is billed as a luxury apartment. Truth be told, this place is the same or worse quality than any of the other apartments I’ve looked at, even in this price range. 27 Seventy Five Mesa Verde is an apartment complex in Costa Mesa that is much higher quality and NEW. The grounds are nicer than the Enclave. I find myself spending more time at 27 Seventy (where two of my friends reside,) than my own overpriced apartment. It also backs a golf course, which is convenient for any golfers.
Once of my main issues with The Enclave is the privacy. I understand they’re apartments, and I am okay with that. I have an issue with the little weirdo’s that live in this place. If you do open my blinds and open the door you can see into 20 different apartments across from you. Every time I do open the blinds I always get that weird feeling that someone’s watching me. Sure enough, if I glance over, there’s some little weird pervert staring at me watch TV or cooking dinner. When I’m in the shower, I’m afraid to wash my hair, because if I open my eyes I might find someone standing there. I try to open my blinds and door because of how small the apartments are it helps make it seem more open. Alas, I have to keep them closed because of the neighbors peeking in to my apartment.
The price you pay is ridiculous to have to put up with the cheap appliances and build furnishings in this place. The washer and dryer so not WASH AND DRY. I have to run my whites through three or four times. If I have anything soiled, say after playing sports, or going to the gym, it needs to be washed twice to thoroughly clean it. They have replaced my washer and dryer twice, to no avail. Both operate exactly the same. The dish washer is constantly breaking. It even leaked water all over my floor and absolutely saturated the carpet for days. Maintenance took 12 hours to repair it.
The paint in these places is absolutely horrible. It actually marks up just by looking at it. If you carry a bag of groceries in and accidently bump the wall, you’ll have some sort of a mark on the paint.
Trim, molding and bathroom fixtures are cheaper than any apartment I’ve looked at. The plumbing is constantly clogging. I am quite anal about keeping hair out of the sink and bathtubs, but the person who lived here before me probably wasn’t. They’re constantly trying to fix my slow draining pipes.
They require persons to park 1 vehicle in their garage. I hardly see anyone parking in their garage. There is a constant struggle to find parking without walking a quarter of a mile. I’ve had my car nicked and dinged when parking it on the street. I’ve gotten two door dings from parking in the parking spots. I even saw one resident’s car get plowed into by some guy driving a Prius who cut the corner to sharp. The guy literally backed up and drove off. It was too far away for any of us to get a license plate.
The gate is not secure. Notice my picture. The gate is open ALL DAY LONG. There is constantly people who do NOT belong inside the Enclave. I see random people using the pools and leaving garbage everywhere.
Notice my other picture of the garbage. I started taking pictures of it after Joe C. wrote about the serious issues. My enclosed picture is the best I’ve seen it. Notice garbage on the floor and the bins are full. I’ll try and take another in a couple days as they don’t come to pick it up until later this week.
I’ve brought some of these issues up with management, but I always get skirted off and shoulder shrugs.
I can’t wait to get out of this place. I will never rent from the Irvine Company again. Before you move in here, check out the other apartments that are available. When you go for your tour, try to look past the initial shock and truly pay attention to the fixtures and true quality of what you move into. Also, try and do a tour in the afternoon when you can see what the parking situation is like and how noisy it is there.

After living at the Enclave for over a year, my time has come to an end and I am DEVASTATED! This is the BEST complex I have ever lived in! I never had a negative experience living here and the only reason I’m leaving is because my employer relocated to LA and I’m not one for traffic at all.
APARTMENT:
We had the best unit that fit our every need and more. One bedroom plus den, all hard wood floor (except for the bedroom), FIRST FLOOR AND ATTACHED GARAGE! It doesn’t get any better than that. We also had a patio entrance which was so fabulous and convenient. All I had to do was park right in front of my apartment and walk 5ft to my door. I LOVED IT! The only wall we shared was the ceiling so we never had any issues with noise. Our unit also received tons of sunlight.
PARKING:
I’m not sure why anyone would complain about the parking. There is ALWAYS somewhere to park and you don’t park in a parking structure or designated parking spots like 99% of complexes in this area. I have a huge family and whenever they would come over there was never an issue with parking. The parking was actually the main reason why I chose to live here. We have a lot of get togethers with family so it was extremely important that I be able to have guests over with no issues. I called many apartment communities and most required a Guest Pass in order to have guests over! Most of the time they only allowed one guest pass! Here at the Enclave you didn’t need any guest pass which I loved!
MAINTENANCE and EMPLOYEES:
As for the comment that someone made regarding the workers not speaking any English… that’s a lie. My boyfriend and I spoke with many of the workers who were extremely friendly and YES they spoke English. That Unilocaler sounds like a bit of a snob to be honest. Anyway, regarding maintenance, they always handled my requests same day. It was so nice not having to worry about a thing. Javier, Jeff and one other gentleman who I feel extremely bad for not remembering his name because we spoke to him the most L, took VERY good care of us. They always responded right away. It was so nice not having to worry about minor issues that arise because they always took care of things.
LANDSCAPERS:
All I’m going to say is that if you work from home and are annoyed or bothered by the noise of the landscapers then move into a community that can care less about its presence and appearance or live in a building with no landscaping.
LEASING STAFF:
The leasing staff was friendly from day one. Brian, who no longer is at this particular community, scored us the apartment. He responded to all my emails and million and one questions in a timely manner. Shannon, the Assistant Manager, was such a pleasure to deal with. Any issues that arose, she was right on top of it with personal phone calls or immediate e-​mail responses (issues were minor). Even after any issues were resolved she would follow up to make sure things were taken care of. Shannon definitely deserves her title and more! Thank you Shannon!
COMMUNITY EVENTS:
I can’t express how much I’m going to miss the events and the movie theater! Those were always so much fun like wine tasting, pool parties, and weekly movie showings. Unfortunately, I was only able to attend the theater a few times.
MOVE OUT:
Today I turn in the keys so I can’t speak on any fees or issues. I’ve had such a positive experience with the Enclave so I’m not expecting any issues. If any arise then I’ll update.
