Place was clean and fairly spacious, staff was friendly. Prices are very good, but quality was lacking. The salmon (either on rolls or otherwise) was actually very good. My wife loved the spicy crab salad & cheesecake (she’s a baker — said both the texture and taste was unique and delicious). We ordered a custom White Dragon roll that was very good, especially for $ 5!
The tuna was not nearly as good (usually our favorite any other place) and the amount of fish on most of the rolls was small. The rice was so sticky on some plates, that the sushi would come apart while trying to pick them up.
I’m ok with sacrificing a little bit in exchange for a good deal, but left feeling I paid more than the experience was worth. Knew it wasn’t a high-​end place going in, but was hoping for a little more quality. My first clue should have been the fact that their wasn’t a single Asian on the entire staff behind the counter!

I like this place a lot. It is a low key revolving sushi bar which is pretty traditional and remains me of the sushi bars in Japan. The bake mussels, Cajun salmon, caterpillar and Philly rolls are great. They have a new special rolls and sashimi menu as well.

Kura has changed their name to align with their chain. There is a Sushi in Motion in Brea, as well. This is the best revolving sushi bar. Excellent service and quality fish. Not expensive, but the service and quality do not suffer. Every seat is filled on Sunday night at 630! I made my own dish there and they are cool with it. Ask for the green citrus scallops, but substitute clam. It was amazing. Also, order a salmon skin hand roll, no rice, sub crab meat. Awesome. I will be back soon.
