Social Lashes

This is the best lash spot in Orange County! Even after moving to Laguna, I still make the drive because I know I will always leave this studio with an amazing set of lashes no matter which artist I see. Kasey and the team bend over backwards to make sure you’re completely happy with your look and that’s hard to find. If you’re going to invest in something as delicate as your eyes, you need to go to a trustworthy resource!

I’ve spent a lot of time at Social Lashes lately feeding my lash addiction. The girls here are my favorite. The salon is clean and so cute.
I’ve had services done by Ashley, Kasey and Makena and you really can’t go wrong. Not only are they skilled professionals, they are super sweet too.
I just switched from extensions to a lift and tint from Ashley and I’m beyond happy!
I love that I can book online, and I look forward to every visit.

SL is now my go to spot for va-​va-​voom lashes for any of my special events! They have so many styles to choose from and being the «socialite» style junkie that I am, I decided to try something new this last visit, the «sassy» cat eye set. Loved them that day but they weren’t exactly me as the weekend progressed so I let them know in this after service survey they send out and got an immediate text asking when I would be able to come in again to have them fixed! Talk about AMAZING customer service! Ashley made sure when I came in the second time I was happy, and I certainly was. Will be back before I leave on vacation!

How is it that I haven’t left a review for Social Lashes yet?! I can’t believe it has taken me this long to leave one!
It has been about a year and half since I’ve first started coming to SL. I’ve had my lashes done over the years by various stylists and while they all did a great job, I can’t say I’ve ever felt a strong bond of loyalty to any of them. Back in late 2014, through a recommendation of a good friend of mine, I have decided to try out Social Lashes when they were still in their old location. Makenna was my first stylist (and still is). She was fast, efficient, so much fun to talk to and worked wonders on my sad little weak Asian eye lashes. It was like going to a spa to get pampered and beautified while also getting some mental therapy session in… a very fun and very relaxing experience. My look was transformed from tired and down-​trodden to a fabulous eyelash-​batting beauty (or at least that’s how I feel like each time I leave). Ever since that fateful day, I am hooked and have been getting my Social Lashes fix almost every two weeks on the reg!
The location (Newport Beach/​Costa Mesa border) is hustling and bustling but the moment you step in, you forget all the traffic outside and step into a classy and chic salon. The prices are reasonable and they always guarantee their services. Their work is absolutely impeccable! Kasey, the owner, and her team of amazing, sociable, and beautiful stylists always provide a warm, friendly, and inviting environment that one can’t help but gravitate towards this amazing place over and over again. A huge deterrent for me not getting lash extensions before was the thought of being at an appointment for 2+ hours. Ashley was quick friendly and efficient! Needless to say I’m obsessed!!!

I had the best experience here. All the girls are so welcoming and helpful with information and styles. Kasey did my lashes and could not have done a better job. They have such a great system going there– I would ¹⁰⁄₁₀ recommend! I can wait to go back!

Kasey is absolutely amazing! I’m unfortunately allergic to lash glue, but she was able to give me a great lash lift that really opened up my eyes, and that I’m so pleased with. It was my first time getting lashes & Kasey did AN AMAZING JOB! It has been 24 hrs since I’ve gotten them & I’ve wet them with water & none have fallen out, I love the way they look, how feather-​like they feel on my eyelashes. She definitely re assured me that my real lashes wouldn’t fall off unless I picked at them, which is given. I’m going to get them filled in twice more before my graduation in mid-​May. Already made my appointments, deffs addicted!!! :)

Ive never had eyelash extensions in my life. I was always curious to try them out. So when my best friend got me a gift card to social i was super excited and pumped. Ive read great reviews about them and ive had multiple friends who swear by Social. So i gave them a call and set up an app with a really nice girl on the phone.
I first received a text message an hour before my app asking if i could go in for an earlier time. Luckily i was able to because i got off work a little earlier (good thing i live close) The actual building is a little hard to find since the actual building# isnt on the back where you park. I got there at the time that the receptionist asked. And was instructed that she thought makenna would have been done by now. (whoops) I had to wait for a little bit to get in. (not a prob, i had time) The receptionist was SUPER nice and friendly!
when Makenna was ready i went to her station. She was awesome and even let me borrow her hand held fan cause i was sweating. she was able to get my lashes done in like 45 min! Super fast. I loved them too! I was super excited about them and very happy with the outcome.
After three days of having the lashes on ive experienced a lot of irritation only on one eye. A bit of a tugging feeling if that makes sense. Lashes seem to be missing more in the irritated eye than anything. (i havnt tugged, rubbed them) I have also noticed that the same eye is super red. Kinda like something is in my eye. Ive brushed them and i cant see anything is physically in my eye. So i can only think that its the lashes.
Its only strange seeing that these symptoms are in my left eye. Im thinking maybe its the glue? Im not sure.
I have called the salon twice along with a text from the number that text me asking to change the original appointment and no call back yet.
I got these lashes done for Coachella and im a bit bummed that i have to go to coachella with this irritattion. (oh well)
Overall, the girls here are super nice, friendly.
Im just not sure if im allergic to the glue, or the lashes were not put properly on my left eye.

Very awesome customer service! Not even 45 min after I posted my Unilocal review Casey the owner called me. She apologized for what had happened. She let me know that she would be able to personally fix my lashes the same day! I let her know that I was headed out of town in an hour and she informed me that when I get back to call the salon and they would take care of me!
I didn’t expect anyone to call, yet alone be so kind and understanding about the situation. And work with my schedule!

I didn’t want to have to write a bad review all the employees here are really nice, but the 2 times I have come here were not good experiences I don’t believe these girls know how to properly apply lashes the first time I came they all fell out in the first week, the second time I came the eyelashes were not really separated/​applied individually it was just big clumps of glue and now I’m missing a lot of my lashes from trying to separate through the glue clumps myself and this doesn’t happen to me with my regular lash lady my lashes are always still in place after going to her. so I’m really disappointed, it was a waste of my money and now my real lashes are destroyed, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Best around! Amazing customer service the girls working the front desk are always so welcoming and happy! The lashes are awesome! always pleased with the outcome no matter who does them. VERY CLEAN salon and they play great music too :)

Kasey does an AMAZING job when it comes to customer service. She gave me a call when she heard I was unhappy with my lashes so she set me up with CAIT who was amazing. She is super sweet and made sure my lashes were to my liking. I am SOOO happy I went and gave it another shot and will be returning.

Ok, I have the thinnest, stubbiest, most non-​existent lashes a girl could ever be cursed with. To me, mascara and any lash growth serum was pointless because I was a lost cause. One day, a student’s mom came in with the most luscious, jaw-​dropping lashes and I asked if they were real. She laughed and said «God, no. I get my lashes done. I’ll give you my girl’s number. She’s the best» And that’s when my love affair with Kasey started one year ago.
My first experience with Kasey was at a lash party my co-​workers and I decided to have. I was nervous because I didn’t want to look like a prostitute with fake lashes and Kasey was super understanding and talked us through the whole process — how to take care of them, how long they last, etc. Every time I go in, I tell her what I’d like depending on the event and she caters like a boss. After I get my lashes done, I feel 100 0000x prettier. I don’t need to wear eyeliner and I’m not paranoid people are staring into my dark sad eyes and wondering why I look like I’m dying.
As far as Kasey, she is absolutely perfect. She’s SO fun, sweet, and friendly. It feels like I’m just going to a girlfriend’s house to catch up while she happens to be beautifying me. Her little sister, McKenna, is equally as amazing. I think good looks and a flawless personality just run in their family (ugh, the worst).
My favorite thing about Social Lashes is that it’s affordable. I hear the prices other girls pay in LA or at other salons and I can’t believe what a great deal I’m getting for perfect lashes and great company. I can’t imagine not having lashes because of Kasey and McKenna. Now, people stop and they go «your lashes look SO GOOD. are they real?!» and now I get to be the one that gushes and passes on Kasey’s number.
Whenever I get my lashes done, I feel like Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street where he’s just throwing money off his yacht. Just take my money, girls. I’ve sold my soul to Social Lashes
