Love the selection this store offers. Beautiful time pieces, helpful staff, clean facility. Every time I come in here, I HAVE to buy a watch.

This store has by far the best customer service in the South Coast Plaza. Padi was extremely courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. As a Porsche employee down here on business, I decided to stop by and check it out. Padi assisted me in trying to find the right pair of sunglasses, but I ended up not buying a pair. I did not once feel pressured to make a purchase, and Padi made sure I left with brochures and a business card for reference. The store was small, yet very well organized and clean. This store will definitely get my business next time I’m down here. 5 stars for Padi, 5 stars for the store itself.

The Porsche Design at the South Coast Plaza has only an exchange — only return policy. However, no refunds are given.

Porsche Design has nice merchandise, but their service is what keeps me coming back. Several people have helped me… I think the manager(Rose??), but I usually work with Tony. He goes way out of his way to help me find what I want. He’s sent text messages, emailed and called when new merchandise arrives and he knows it’s what I’ve been looking for. I’ve even gotten thank you cards from the store, which is a nice touch. Keep up the good work.

I purchased the P’8478 Sunglasses that have the interchangeable lens from Porsche Design in Costa Mesa this year. I was served by Shila(Sales Associate). Upon trying on and purchasing I advised Shila that I was only interested in purchasing the very largest size lens sunglasses so for her to show me only those ones, hence why I went in search to buy their particular sunglasses. My husband was in the shop with me and can vouch for this that I always specified the«largest size». It is the Sales Associate’s job and responsibility to inform the customer about their brand and how the sizing works, etc — it is NOT the customer’s responsibility. When I was in the Porsche Design store in New York City I purchased the new Raspberry colour lens set, and upon buying I used the words«largest size lens». However, upon changing the lens just recently I noticed that the raspberry lens did not fit my sunglasses; instead they were too big. Confused by this, my husband and I went into Porsche Design in Costa Mesa(the store that I purchased the sunglasses from) and queried why the raspberry lens were too big considering I’d purchased the«largest size» sunglasses and lens. The Sales Associate who was working in the shop that day, Petra, advised that my sunglasses were in fact not the largest size afterall, and that you go by the numbers on the inside of the sunglass arm. She advised that my sunglasses are Size 66 which is the«medium size», and that Size 69 is in fact the«largest size» — she also stated that the P’8478 style comes in «three different sizes». So my husband and I went on to explain about when purchasing I’d always told Shila that I wanted to buy the«largest size». Unfortunately, we were told by Petra, who also spoke to her Manager, that there is nothing Porsche can do about this issue. Because my husband and I were never informed by Shila about how the sizing worked(ie going by numbers), obviously we don’t know whether Shila had ever got me to try on the Size 69 and that she mistakenly ordered Size 66, or whether she just always incorrectly advised me that the sunglasses I was trying on and purchasing were the«largest size». I am extremely disappointed by this, as Porsche Design could not put it right for me — instead, I’ve now had to repurchase the«largest size», that being Size 69, and $ 600.00 is a lot of money to just shell out randomly. I love these sunglasses, however, I’m not happy with Shila for misinforming me upon purchasing the«largest size», which was quoted to her numerous times, as that was my whole point in purchasing their expensive sunglasses — I love oversized lens sunglasses. This whole experience has made me feel very disappointed with Porsche Design, as they are selling expensive products, however, their Sales Associates(namely Shila) obviously aren’t trained adequately enough to ensure they’re listening to their customers needs and informing them of the brand. However, since last weekend, I have just looked on Porsche Design’s website for the P’8478 sunglasses and it actually has four sizes to select from(60, 63, 66, 69). So even as of last weekend, the Sales Assistants got it wrong then also. When are their staff ever going to get it right? They honestly have to know their products, especially considering their items are so expensive! So a big thumbs down from me!

Porsche Design– AMAZING product line. Quality, craftsmanship, dedication to simplicity. For cutting-edge performance and design NOTHING beats Porsche Design. A modern, comfortable approach with luxury fabrics, lines, and appeal. The Costa Mesa store is comfortable and cozy with a sales staff that is knowledgeable, professional, and interested in what YOU want, not just making a sale. As a matter of fact, I have been ‘made’ into a client. Email from a sales person is PERSONAL several time throughout the year– including announcing SALEEVENTS. The emails are limited, not production, and feel like communicating with a good-friend. Definitely WORTH a visit.. . if you’d never been. On SALE is BEST– but sometime, there are items with such APPEAL that the $$$$$$$ is OK– like the PD Shisha (hookha) @ $ 2100– it’s PRICEY but amaaaaaaaaaaazing! Everything item in the store is SEVERALLEVELS over aesthetically pleasing– some reach to EUPHORIC.

Porsche Design is a boutique specializing in those items that you don’t really need, but you want to have. The designs are supposed to be simplistic, functional, and sleek. Many of the products are made for Porsche by other manufacturers. For example, apparel is made for Porsche by Adidas and Golf items are made by Taylormade. This particular store was a bit small in square footage, so it didn’t have the same offerings as the larger Beverly Hills store — knives, bikes, etc. Select items in the store get marked down quite a bit, so some deals can be had if you look closely. I walked out of the store with a pair of golf pants for 70% off. This put it at the price of regular golf pants, but these looked so much sleeker. Perfect for when I visit the country club for my next round. The sales lady Shila(correct spelling) also showed me a couple of watches that were discounted 50%. They happened to be the couple that were the least attractive of the bunch.

A PREMIUMBRANDWILLINEVITABLYFAILWITHOUTPREMIUMSERVICE, or Product integrity. I’ve been waiting a month(and counting) for the store to replace defective lenses on a pair of 400.00 sunglasses-unacceptable. I made the trip up from san diego to costa mesa to show them the cracks that had developed in each lens, expecting some kind of service on site. NO. have to send them to NY for service(?!). um okay. it will take two weeks(?!) um, okay… can i have them shipped to me directly? NO, they come to costa mesa.(?!) can you ship them to me in san diego? NO. So, I have to drive a hundred fifty miles round trip,(again) to pick up the glasses? YES. we’ll call you in a couple weeks.(it’s been a month– I just had to call them, they had no update, but took my number and promised to get back to me… two lenses = 300 miles by car, 6000 miles by Jet, 4 weeks and counting…

Ausgezeichnet… outstanding! Polite staff, excellent quality leather briefcases. And the stainless steel knives are ergonomic. As I recall, this place was started by Ferdinand«Butzi» Porsche, son of Ferry, grandson of the old man and original design engineer Ferdinand Porsche. And nowadays I think it has ties to the car company. One thing I found amusing are this fall’s(Fall 2011) jackets. They are thick, with fur(like) trim, reminiscent of the 80s. I love the 80s. And I ran, I ran so far away…867−5309…so True! Well I digressed. Fine leather goods, wallets, unique items. I suggest you check their website first before visiting so you know what you want wne you get there. Just one tip: if you’re lucky to own a Porsche, don’t be an ass and behave like you own the road or that you’re a racecar driver in the streets of L.A. Take it easy. No need to get extra attention, you’ve already arrived. Richtig?

Probably the only boutique I’ve been to that didn’t make me feel like a chump for only spending $ 400 bucks. Great service from the moment I walked in the door to the regular postcards following up on my purchase. The service just doesn’t get any better than this.

This store always has what I’m looking for. It’s my go-to place when I can’t think of any gifts for my BF. Their clothing is great quality and will last forever. It’s not super flashy(which He likes) but it’s expensive and very rarely do you find others wearing the same items. I always ask for Shila– she’s great. My favorite product from Porsche Design are the sunglasses(they have the BEST aviators).

Expensive, but worth it. The salesclerk was incredibly personable, went out of her way to show us plenty of items both useful(awesome cufflinks) and audacious($ 300+ per setting utensils.) While I went in merely to browse, I ended up walking out with a fantastic pen that resides in my pocket nearly full time and 3 complimentary handcarved chocolates. Additionally, 3 weeks later when I returned to Ohio I received a postcard in the mail from the clerk telling me she hoped I enjoyed my purchase and to contact her should I need any other items. Top notch.

Everything in this store is well made and crafted to last you a lifetime. Mind you, it’s not a drop in the hat for the weak of wallet. However, you know you’ll get something that no one else will have. Service was decent and I would have purchased the wallet if they had the one I wanted.

When Louie V discontinued the wallet I’ve been using for the last 10 years or so, the hunt was on for something new. Wandering around South Coast Plaza, I came across the Porsche Design boutique. I dig the wallets in this store. Nice clean design, I put it through hell and it holds up well. Service is also top notch. I even got a hand written thank you card in the mail after picking up some lighters as gifts. Items are little spendy, but hey… ya gotta treat yourself every now & then. ;)
