The owner here was so welcoming and she smiles to greet you as you walk in. :) what’s even better is that I appreciate a really great cup of coffee and I was not disappointed. At first when I drove into the parking lot, I thought I was lost. But after I parked my car and walked around, I saw some people sitting outside with their iced coffees and there it was. It’s inside a business plaza, and the shop is located inside one of the commercial buildings(Ste. 200) I’m not from this area, but I’m glad I was able to try this place thanks to Unilocal.I got the coconut latte with almond milk(thanks for having almond milk!) — I think she said her syrups are made in house. Coffee was smooth and creamy, not bitter at all. Hope I can come back here soon! Love the service and the drinks!

I was driving around and around in the parking lot looking for this place. Parking lot wasn’t that big, this place was just THATSMALL. I could only find it by smell.

BESTAMERICANOEVER. Seriously in my top americanos ever. Located in a business plaza next to wayfare, it’s a cute little coffee counter to stop at. My BF had the honey cinnamon latte which literally tasted like the milk left after you eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch mixed with coffee. Stop here for quality coffee, you will not regret it. They also have kombucha on tap!

Not at all what I was expecting, but the coffee here is very tasty and the service fantastic! This is in a business area and pretty much to go only other than 2 – 3 tables out front or if you are going in the work co op that this is in the entrance of. No signage and parking lot is full due to all the businesses, but we really enjoyed both my mocha as well as my husbands americano, make perfectly and Stumptown coffee is always good. Love and care in every cup, you can taste quality, Neat.

such a neat coffee shop! :P it’s located in a business plaza so just look for people sitting outside or tables! they don’t have a sign outside like most people because they actually share the place with another business. Parking is somewhat limited since it’s in a business plaza, but there should be some spots open. The menu is pretty straightforward. There was only one girl working when I stopped by, so it might be a few minutes to get your order taken.(unless there’s usually two people working) It’s more of a to-go place. there’s a small bench inside that fits like 4 people and theres 4 – 5 tables outside that hold 2 people each. coffee was pretty good. my boyfriend got the cold brew and I got the cappuccino. both were pretty good. nothing too fancy or crazy about it. they serve stumptown so you can’t go wrong with that

Coming to terms with lactose intolerance as an adult brings about three issues when visiting a coffee shop: 1) having to remember to keep lactase tablets in my wallet(too much responsibility required) 2) choosing between commercially made almond milk/soy milk(don’t lie and tell yourself that it tastes good) 3) ordering a drink with dairy and feeling the effects hours later(not pleasant) Luckily, Ally at Neat is an awesome barista who makes the best almond milk latte using high quality sprouted almond milk from a local OC business(Rawmond). Follow Neat on Instagram and check this place out!

I finally had a chance to check out this place after seeing photos after photos of my friends coming here. It was slightly difficult to find the actual building because it’s hiding in the back of the plaza. I ordered the iced vanilla latte and it was fantastic! It wasn’t overly sweet. A great drink for a hot day. Can’t wait to come back.

One of my work’s clients is Wayfair, which is the location that rents to Neat Coffee. This is how I discovered them. You would never know this place existed unless you researched it. It is in a small corner of Wayfair(Actually inside the business), which is tucked in the back of a corporate area. They have a few tables outside if you want to sit, but other than that there is really nowhere to hang out. It is more of a pick up and go spot Neat coffee has a small and simple menu with a few basics like the latte, cappuccino, etc. I inquired about some of the syrups they have, and the only offer two, coconut, and I believe cinnamon(My memory may be failing me though) I ended up going with an iced coconut latte. It was very good and the espresso was strong. Overall, this is a cute little spot, and the owner, who I assume is typically the one there, is very nice. However, due to the extremely small menu and limited options, I wont be making it a regular spot, but I would recommend it for those who do not do all the fancy coffees like me haha.

Neat Coffee follows the similar trend in the Bay Area of Coffee shop w/workspace. Located in a business park, the outdoor looks may be deceiving! I arrived at the parking lot, only to find large business buildings. You have to look around to find the right suite since there is no outside signs. They serve the typical coffee drinks and have a cute minimal design inside and outside the café. They have succulents and simple outdoor seating that does the job. Inside, they have a cute wall mural that most instragrammers have now made known. As for the drink, I ordered an iced Vanilla Latte and my friend got a Lavender Honey Iced Vanilla latte. Good taste, not too heavy on the milk and the espresso still shines through. Kind staff! even though they look a little busy. I would point out that this isn’t a place to «chill» People who swing by are probably working nearby. I ordered and sat outside for a decent 20 minutes chatting with a friend. We came out of our way to come here, but I’m glad we did! Pros: — good coffee — good design — kind staff –easy parking Cons: — don’t be mistaken by the exterior, look a little carefully for the café — pricing? but compared to other Coffee shops in the area, it’s not too bad

A little tricky to find. It’s next to the place that looks like(it might possibly be) the coffee shop, inside the pillar that says«Wayward.» Second building, second business entrance on the right, don’t turn, just park. I found this little spot on Unilocal this morning and thought I’d give it a shot. Their menu is incredibly simple and they hired a fantastic barista. So of course, I order a cortado, because that’s what I want… even though it’s not on the menu. She didn’t bat an eye, and it was perfect. Also, 100% Stumptown. Thanks Neat Coffee, definitely will be back.

Neat Coffee is definitely neat. It’s a small little café located inside a business building that’s pretty difficult to find if its your first time here. Parking isn’t a problem so no worries about that whatsoever. They have three tables and chairs outside and a bench inside the coffee shop. There was only one person working(which was the owner) and she was so sweet and definitely knew her stuff about coffee(trust me, there are some baristas who surprisingly don’t know much about coffee). I ordered a cold brew, and my goodness, it tasted so good and refreshing. Their coffee beans are from Guatemala and roasted by Stumptown, so you know their coffee drinks are legit. Although their coffee was pretty pricey($ 4.75), I must say, their cold brew is one of the best coffee drinks I’ve ever had in the OC. Super smooth and rich in flavor. I just wish they had larger sizes because their cup size(I think it was 12 – 16 oz.) was just too little for me. I finished my drink in less than 5 minutes because it was so delicious. Like I mentioned before, the interior is pretty small and simple. Nothing too trendy but they do have decorative and cute designs on the walls and keep the place pretty bright. With no wifi, outlets, and limited seatings inside and outside, this place is definitely not a great place to study. I would go as far to say this isn’t really the place to chill either. I believe it’s a better idea to order your coffee and chill some place else with friends or family members. Overall, I highly recommend their cold brew and I will be back to get some more!

Ahh I loveee this place! It’s seriously is a hidden gem. The coffee is always on point! And the owner is super duper nice. They also offer stamp cards the only con I could think of is that they close on the weekend); I actually drive out of my way to pick up coffee here in the morning. And since the service and coffee is so great, I even leave a tip! Even though it’s grab and go kind of coffee place. Yes the coffee & the owner is that great! Bottom line is: if you haven’t try this place, you’re missing a whole lot! Oh and the decoration is super simple & nice

Was up in the Santa Ana area on business and wanted a great cup of coffee. This is why I love Unilocalers so much… type coffee into the search bar and what pops up but a five-star establishment called Neat Coffee. It is not located and a bustling retail center. It is located in a Tucktaway business park. Just follow the directions given and you will have no problem finding it. And when you do you will be glad you did. After reading through several reviews I decided to try the turmeric latte. I really feel privileged to have found Neat Coffee. I only wish that more coffee houses would take the time to set themselves apart from all the mediocre coffee that’s out there. In the meantime I will just have to make more trips to Santa Ana.

Neat Coffee is a clean, ultra petite coffee shop. it is located inside a business/office building environment so it can be hard to find. They have 3 outside tables and a bench seating inside the«store.» When I went there was only worker, who I believe is the owner, so it can take a little while to get your coffee if there are people in front of you. I ordered an iced americano and she was using Stumptown beans(Guatemala Bourbon, I think???). Looking at Unilocal reviews, turmeric latte was something unique to Neat Coffee. I asked the barista about it and she was so sweet and helpful in explaining about this particular spice. I’ll be sure to try it next time. :3

I’m not aware of any other place that makes iced turmeric latte; the drink can be obtained hot or cold. I’ve had it cold twice now and it’s refreshing. Near coffee can be found by identifying the 270 building with tables outside. Ally, the owner is wonderful to get to know. The place is bright, minimalistic, and perfect for an easing into the morning. Highly recommend(because it doesn’t have to be Portola or Cafecito all the time) Cheers!

Ahhhh I adore this place! This is definitely a hidden gem. It’s in a really nice plaza and is a bit hard to find. So keep your eyes open and look for the coffee tables. When I came, there was a short line. It seems that it is just the owner working by herself which was really cool. She seems to be very knowledgable about coffee and dedicated to her business which is something I admired! She was very friendly and managed to make some small talk with us while making our drinks! I ordered an iced vanilla latte! And it was soooo good. It comes with 2 shots of espresso, but you can’t taste it at all. It’s so… Light! Haha The menu is really«neat»(hehe get it?). It was easy to read, and there are only few items so it’s totally not overwhelming or anything. There are no tables to sit at except for the ones outside, and I think this place is like an extension of another business(which explain why Neat Coffee doesn’t have a sign up outside the door) so don’t expect a lot of space to do work. It’s definitely a great place to grab coffee on the go or to sit at a small table outside to catch up with someone.

This place can be a bit hard to find, since it is in the middle of office buildings, but it is worth taking the time to find. Allie is the sweetest barista I have ever met, taking great care that her drinks are always delicious, and taking the time to know her customers by name. I got an iced latte(my go to drink in a new coffee shop) and it was delicious. A perfectly pulled shot of espresso with the right ratio of ice to milk. I would recommend going there just for the sake of supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs who take great pride in creating a delicious product. You won’t regret trying Neat Coffee!

Con: Hard to find Pro: Hard to find, so it’s not crowded Once I figured out where it was I ordered my stumptown vanilla latte and it was great. I like that it’s attached to the Wayfare co-working space. It looked very inviting! I wish they would allow coffee shop patrons to sit in there while we enjoy our coffees.

I first heard about Neat from a friend’s Instagram picture. Maybe it was how she photographed her coffee in front of a white wall, but it looked… NEAT! I love me some good coffee and definitely wanted to check this place out. So when a few friends from out of town came to visit me, I seized the opportunity to bring them with me! One friend got the mocha, the other got a cappuccino, and I got the honey cinnamon almond milk latte(a mouthful to say 5 times fast). Honey cinnamon and vanilla are the house syrups offered. I think there’s a third one, but I forgot. Just the right amount of honey and cinnamon. It doesn’t overpower the almond milk latte and you can still taste the almond milk. It’s a quaint place to grab coffee on the go. Not much seating, so I wouldn’t recommend coming in a pack, but if you want to relax, have a nice cup of coffee and chat with a friend, by all means!

Cute, simple, minimalist coffee shop in Costa Mesa. I got the almond milk latte for $ 5(almond milk cost an extra $ 1). It was probably one of the best almond milk lattes I have ever tasted. Definitely would come back just to order that. Service was great! Very friendly and our drinks didn’t take too long. There are some tables and chairs but it is basically a tiny coffee shop for grab and go. The only cons for me are the short hours(only open during the week until 3pm) and that is kind of out of the way in this random office plaza.
