Drive Me Cookie

Drive Me Cookie provided dessert for a surprise party I just had in Yorba Linda and I was thrilled. Kohlman was super easy to work with and my guests were so stoked with their custom ice cream sandwich desserts. At the end of their service time, they provided me with the remaining fresh out of the oven cookies!
I would highly recommend DMC for any party of event and my guests thoroughly enjoyed the unique dessert option.

Best decision ever! We had Drive Me Cookie at our daughters Sweet 16, and it was the highlight of the night! They posted a menu especially for her party. There were 3 options on the menu to choose from: The Sweet 16, The Corona, and The Venice. The cookies were warm and just delicious! The girl who worked our party did a fantastic job keeping up with all the cookie orders. I believe her name was Rachel. Thank you Rachel and Drive Me Cookie!

I got the heads up about the truck from Van D. that it was in the Park Place area on this particular day. It happened that I decided to come into work at 1pm on that day but I decided to come in a bit later to work because well, um… Unilocal.My bosses understand… I gotsta Unilocal LOL.
First off the truck was parked behind a bush… sigh. The workers were very confused when I told them my order… sigh. Finally they got it as I ordered 3 cookies (tera’s best, the goth, and the mac doodle), a peanut butter cookie with blueberry ice cream and Van D. had the tera’s best cookie with mint chocolate chip ice cream. The cookies were very delicious by themselves. Tera’s best wasn’t my favorite. I liked the goth the most and the mac doodle last. They were fresh and quite warm albeit a bit greasy. The ice cream was extremely delicious (since it is Thriftys). The blueberry had great flavor and texture as did the mint chocolate chip. For some reason I didn’t particularly liked the two together. I thought my ice cream sandwich was initially great but they gave me too much and ultimately I got thirsty lol. I thought Van D.‘s ice cream sandwich was the better choice and more idealistic size. I don’t know why my sandwich was bigger… shouldn’t all ice cream sandwiches be created equally. Anyways still pretty good.
The service was bland and wasn’t as efficient as I liked. Still the ice cream was the highlight of the day. If they’re in the area though I might catch em but they’re just ok.

I received an email that the Drive Me Cookie truck was going to be by our office between 1:00 — 3:00pm. I was telling my Unilocal-​migo who worked nearby about it and Truong T. joined me for some mid day desserting.

The workers were incredibly slow and they were asking the people in front of us what their order was while they were waiting, not a good sign. When it was our turn to order, we told him our order just for him to tell us he wants just the ice cream sandwiches first and then the cookie order. Picky Picky slow inefficient worker with an attitude… RAWR!
Anyways Truong T. got an ice cream sandwich with their cookie of the month which was a peanut butter cookie and their ice cream of the month which was a blueberry. Together it played on the idea of a PB&J. It was really good… during the first few bites… but he did not finish.
I also had an ice cream sandwich with their Tera’s Best, which is their name for the chocolate chip cookie, with mint chocolate chip ice cream. I really enjoyed my creation, mainly because of the ice cream! Can’t go wrong with the thriftys brand ice cream. The cookie was just as good as any warm cookie, but nothing out of this world.
Truong T. also ordered three cookies: Tera’s Best, The Goth & Mac Doodle. The thing that amused me the most was that the worker guy got all confused when Truong T. ordered using the name of their cookies. He had to repeat his order and tell the guy he wanted the chocolate chip, double chocolate chip and snickerdoodle. The grease from the cookie immediately seeped through the baggie they put it in. You can read about it in his review how much he liked/​disliked them.
I like cookies and I like ice cream so it’s hard not to like this truck, but service can use improvement. My coworker said that they had to wait 45min-​1hour for their order since the line quickly formed and the truck staffers were not too efficient. I am not in a rush for them to come back to my building any time soon. I definitely would not get in a line to wait for it either.

I love a good ice cream sandwich and this was right up there with the best of them. Homemade cookies that were delicious! If they used better ice cream, that would definitely help, but it was still good. A complete mess, so eat it with a fork, but such a fun idea to have this type of food truck. It was a bit pricey, but the guys that run it have great values and a strong love for the Lord, so I’m glad I could support them and their business. Hopefully I can find the truck again soon or maybe get them for my wedding in the future!

Where has this truck been hiding? Seriously. It’s that good. The cookies are amazing and the ice cream with toppings are just the icing on the cake. Everything is so good! We liked it so much that we bought a dozen snickerdoodle cookies.
I ordered the snickerdoodle cookies with French vanilla ice cream and sprinkles. It was so amazing. I can’t wait to go back and try all of the combinations. I hope I see them around again soon. I may just have to only have dessert instead of dinner. ;-)

We just had Drive me cookie for an event with both adults and kids and it was a huge success. Every person at the event raved about the quality and freshness of the cookies and ice cream. Thanks for helping us have a great event! It was DELICIOUS!

Nothing was ready when the truck arrived at our Apartment Community. Several of the residences were very disappointed with the lack of product being ready, especially when they have the hot bags it can go in. I really hope that the driver is not the owner of the truck. I and another residence of Renaissance at Uptown asked the driver the cost of the ice cream cookie and he said $ 5. When the resident finally ordered his cookie sandwich it was $ 5.50 or $ 5.75. I ended up giving the resident a $ 1 so he didn’t have to walk back to his apartment. This is when I left disappointed. They might have a good product which I did not try, but customer service is down the «porcelain thrown».

Saw these guys while I was on the freeway & decided why not give them a shot for a work event. Emails were answered fairly quickly & we booked them.
They came to our office with the van & baked the cookies there fresh! Mind was pretty blown. This truck offers a wide variety of flavors which include the classics to a gluten-​free vegan cookie and they use Thrifty ice cream. The combos they offer are also very delicious.
The staff that came out were very friendly, everyone loved them (about 70 employees) — no complaints. We can’t think of anything better to end the work week than fresh baked cookies with some ice cream in the middle and some chocolate drizzle. Great job guys!

Drive Me Cookie delivered fresh, warm cookies to our office for staff appreciation on short notice within an hour. The driver was really friendly and attentive. Everyone was very pleased :)

Oh My Goodness!!! We were walking around the Patchworks Craft Fair in Santa Ana, when we stumbled upon this truck… ice cream cookies!?! Sounds delicious! Of course I’ve tried other ice cream cookie trucks such as Chunk N Chip, so it wasn’t such an original idea. However, the quality of the cookies and ice cream was delicious!
$ 5 for a sandwich and $ 6 if you add a topping.
The cookie was absolutely warm, gooey and yummy. The ice cream was nice, creamy and cold! Put those two together and it definitely made my Sunday a better day! I was only able to have 1 bite of this sandwich, it was soooo goood! I can’t wait till this Gestational Diabetes is over, so I can get a sandiwch to myself!
I did take off 1 star, because they totally messed up on our order, but we didn’t mind, we ate what they gave us anyways and enjoyed it very much! We ordered an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream topped with captain crunch. They didn’t have Captain Crunch and asked if Oreo crumbs were okay instead and we didn’t mind the change. But we ended up with a chocolate chip cookie, coffee ice cream rolled with oreo crumbs.
But even with the messed up order, we didn’t mind! It was still yummy!!!

We booked them for an event and they showed up over an hour late with a very lame excuse and without two of the flavors they said they would bring.

We had Drive Me Cookie come to our corporate office for an employee event. Our employees were excited for the surprise treat! Most had ice cream sandwiches — I just had cookies. They were warm and tasty!
Only thing missing was milk for our employees and a vegan ice cream option for the non-​dairy/​vegan people ;)
The service and cookies were great!

We really enjoyed this Food Truck novelty during a recent visit to downtown Fullerton. The cookies were very fresh (and chewy) while the ice cream was very creamy. Coupled together, it made for a great desert. Look for this truck at your next Food Truck rodeo… great finish to the evening.

Delicious ice cream cookie sandwiches, and the truck is run by the coolest guys. I had The Classic (chocolate chip cookies with French Vanilla ice cream) and it was insane! Highly recommend!

Phenomenal service and product. I called them at 11 am for a same day event for over 50 people and they made it happen in a couple of hours. I was amazed that they pulled it off in such short notice. Super professional and extremely friendly. Everyone loved their cookies and ice cream. People were still raving about it a few days after. Creative concept and you can tell these guys are proud of what they do. Top notch customer service.

I got the «Classic» ice cream sandwich. Not quite what I expected. It was smaller and didn’t look too tasty when I got it, although once I tried it, it was a decent ice cream sandwich. But I wouldn’t say it’s worth $ 5. I’d rather go to Los Angeles for Diddy Riese.

I’ve had their cookies a few times and they never disappoint! Great quality and variety, you can’t go wrong.
Also they seem to be great dudes that take pride in what they do.
Definitely recommend trying them out if you ever get the chance!

Our building has food trucks come every Thursday… I can usually resist the vast majority of the trucks that come our way… I’m a sucker for sugar.
So after ignoring this truck for the better part of a month… one day a coworker comes upstairs looking for someone to be bad with… and she says they have cold brew coffee floats. I don’t think I even let her finish her pitch before I got up.
$ 5 for a cold brew float (I do think it’s a little expensive for the size – I think it’s a 10 or 12 oz cup). Sooo good! Mellow cold brew coffee with french vanilla ice cream? What’s not to love? I was egged on to throw in a cookie for $ 1.
FINE. Don’t twist my arm or anything…
And okay, that’s one absolutely delicious combo. LOVED it. They make an awesome thin and chewy chocolate chip cookie!
I came back another time (got the same thing – I needs my coffee and ice cream to get myself thru the rest of the day!) and this time my coworker got an ice cream sandwich (chocolate chip cookies with mint chip ice cream – $ 5). She raved about it.
Anyway! Drive Me Cookie is great. Look forward to seeing them every time. –1 star for the price point. While awesome, I do think it’s a bit expensive.

I’d eat it every day if I didn’t care about not being a huge enormous guy.
Get these to go with some nice glasses of milk.
Some real good looking ice cream sandwiches too.
