We won the Ignorance Award this morning by accidentally flooding our next door neighbor’s house.
Panicked and guilt ridden, I did a quick Unilocal search for water damage specialists. Good Unilocal reviews and a professional web page prompted me to call Milestone Building Group.
The answering service took my initial message, and rep Christy called me back within 5 minutes. She had a man onsite within 1.5 hours.
The good news for our neighbors is that the flooding was caught within about half an hour. The owner got his own water vacs and fans onsite immediately, even before MBG arrived.
The owner didn’t think there anything left for a water damage specialist to do. Even so, Eli walked the whole affected area with his moisture meter and thoroughly discussed the situation with the owner. He was professional and well informed.
In the end, Eli agreed with the owner that no more needed to be done than the owner was already doing. He assured me all was fine and took his leave, with no charge.
I can’t comment on their actual water damage work, as we didn’t need it. But I was impressed by their quick and professional response. And we’re very appreciative of the peace of mind they could provide.
