It’s been 3 years now and we trust this shop! Our son has even take his car in for an oil change and I went by after work to pay for it! The owner, Engin, knows us by name and takes care of us like we are family! Absolutely continue to recommend this shop!

I always go to get my oil changed here. I usually don’t make an appointment, but they are usually done in about 20 min. They do a general checkup on my car, and I always feel like they are honest and upfront about any problems.

I really recommend that place. first of all they are very honest i took my car to fix my brake but I didn’t have any time to wait I left my car there and they gave me one of their car for me to drive and next day I came back to pick my car up they said my brake was perfect there is no need to replace them believe me guys if you go somewhere else they would charge you so much money if you don’t wanna get ripped off go to those guys they are awesome …

I will always bring my car to Engin and the team at Econo! Every time something is wrong, they are always available to take a look at my car and start repairs if needed. I’ve had my car towed there, diagnosed, left overnight and then towed back home and they never once indicated it was ever an inconvenience. Engin is honest, and knows the importance of customer service in running a successful business. He even recommended that I do NOT pay the over $ 600 in repair costs when my cooling system died, but instead, recommended I put that money towards a new car. Sadly, a new car was not a feasible option at the time. But, it goes to show that he actually cares. He sent someone to pick me up and drop me off at home while my car was there too. I love Econo & the many times they have saved my beloved Joan Jetta! THANKS ECONO!!!

Great job for a great price. Got an oil change they took like 15 minutes and didn’t try to upsell me anything. They all did a check of everything else and told me I might need a new air filter in my next oil change. I feel like it was just as good as the Toyota dealership for less money and hassle.

I took my Ford Flex here for a brake check about six months ago based on strong Unilocal reviews — to my pleasant surprise they said I didn’t need any work and had about six months left on my brakes. Flash forward to today — brakes started squealing so I stopped in again. Very quickly replaced my front brake pads for me at a very reasonable rate and everyone I dealt with, including Mike, was very professional, helpful and responsive. Definitely be back!

We bring all three of our beater cars here — a 1991, 1993 and our «fancy» 2003! We are always treated exceptionally well! They are always happy to explain what repairs are needed, why repairs are needed, and which parts are best for each situation. They are fast, will coordinate drop off/​pick up times and have a loaner car if you need it (we usually don’t). We really have been happy with their work and have been taking the cars to them for about 2 years now! VERY HAPPY!!!

I went to get an estimate on my breaks, I didn’t have the $ 850 they quoted me that day so I went home to think about it. LUCKILY I stopped to talk to a neighbor and they found a cap sitting on my hood between the wipers. I opened the hood and fluid was leaking all over my car because the idiots didn’t put it back on when they were finished. I was considering going back but that pissed me off. Nope. Could have ruined my car.

Excellent service, great prices and very professional. After having my brakes and rotors replaced I recommended Econo Lube’N Tune & Brakes to my family. My mom took her Expedition for heavy duty brakes and rotors and they hooked her up on the total cost. I will definitely return and recommend to friends.

Highly recommend. These guys are quick and reasonably priced. I was quoted a price from a Toyota dealer to replace the two rear brakes. I got all four done here for $ 200 less. They said it would take three hours but had it done in less than a hour and a half.

Although a little pricey, $ 39 total after a basic oil change for a 2008 Toyota Prius, this place is quick, efficient and the customer service is of the highest quality. I have lived in Irvine/​Newport Beach for 4 years now, attending UC Irvine, and I have had so much trouble finding a place that makes me feel welcome while my car gets worked on. After taking my car here for the last year or so, I would highly recommend Econo Lube’N Tune & Brakes to anyone looking for QUALITY service.

Went in on Yesterday morning (Thursday 10⁄10) at almost 10. Service was amazing!!! Everyone. They even gave me a lesson on cleaning an air filter :) wow. I had a coupon but didn’t have the heart to use it. I hate car stuff and they made it soooo easy. Thanks guys if you ever see this or whatever :)

I have gone to these guys for about 6 years. Recently, I moved to San Diego and on a visit back to Newport Beach my clutch went out. This could have been a nightmare but very luckily I was in the area and instantly I knew what to do… head straight to Econo Lube’N Lube! I’ve trusted them already b/​c they have never taken advantage of me but now after they took such great care of Me and My Car in what could have been a very bad situation for me, I will make it a point to remain their customer even tho I’ve moved an hour away.

These guys are excellent. Hands down, the best I’ve been to, and I’ve had a lot of auto service (I’ve had a lot of older cars). Econo Lube ‘N Tune’s helpful staff always do a great job of explaining my situation, giving me an accurate and reasonable estimate, and performing fantastic repairs and service on my cars.
I usually see having work done on a car as a situation where you settle for the least-​awful in a business full of con artists. I feel exactly the opposite toward these guys, I’m always happy to see them and benefit from their help. I can’t thank them enough.

I haven’t taken my precious Scion XA anywhere else since moving to Orange County. Thanks to all the guys there who are always so helpful and friendly.
The prices are great, and they’re totally FAIR — not like those other dudes who are always trying to rip off nice ladies like myself.
Overall: I highly recommend the place for getting your routine oil change and check-​up.
